They're off in a flash. Kitty won't be able to comprehend the view changing before, seconds later, they arrive at a place in Hub Centralis. Ruby lets go and strides on in, giving Kitty a parting salute.

M. Bison is out, accompanied by Kazuya.

Juni and Juli are also there, spread out and surveying the area.

The dictator chuckles evilly, causing Kazuya to give him a confused look, before writing it off as a fit of insanity.

A deathly cold wind blows through, bringing snow and ice with it...

Juni and Juli look to the source of the wind, activating a module on their suits to help with homeostasis.

M. Bison simply channels Psycho Power, protecting himself from the cold a bit.

Kazuya simply scoffs at the wind.

The wind turns blindingly thick...

and then, right in front of Kazuya, someone emerges from within the storm.

"You would perpetuate a cycle of vengeance and misery."

Estraole

Kazuya: "What I would or would not do is none of your concern."

Bison simply laughs it off.

Sub-Zero assumes his battle stance. "My frost will put a stop to your madness."

Mortal Kombat Anthem

He rushes at Kazuya and feints a punch before suddenly leaping back, sending his Ice Klone to smash into the half-devil while the real deal fires a barrage of icicles from the air!

Desperate Struggle - Tekken 7

Kazuya meets the ice clone with a lightning-laced straight punch before going on the defensive, blocking the icicles.

Sub-Zero creates a sheet of ice and slides around behind Kazuya before forming an axe out of ice and attempting to bury it in his skull!

Kazuya bats away the axe of ice before going for a small uppercut, the Electric Wind God Fist!

If he hits, he repeats it not once, but twice, before aiming to knock the ninja away with a jumping kick!

Sub-Zero gets juggled by the EWGF, but the finishing kick shatters an Ice Klone instead as the real Sub-Zero lands on the ground and takes a moment to recover.

Estraole On Ice

Kazuya keeps up on the offensive, going for a leg sweep to a lightning-charged gazelle uppercut, and if it hits, he'll finish with an eye laser!

Sub-Zero blocks the onslaught all while discreetly creating a sheet of ice overhead. When Kazuya stops, he attempts to fling him up into the ice and then drop it (and him) to the ground to crush him!

Estraole On Ice

Kazuya gets caught and crushed, but breaks out of the ice to rush Sub-Zero with a flurry of punches!

Sub-Zero leaps away from the attack, throwing out a random flying kick just to keep Kazuya at bay.

Estraole

Kazuya aims to seat down the flying kick before aiming to kick Sub-Zero off the ground, hit him with an EWGF, and then toss him back on the ground again!

Sub-Zero gets combo'd a lot, but performs an evasive break-away before lunging to stab Kazuya with twin ice halberds.

If he gets the stab, he will bury them into Kazuya, then let go and manifest a third before slamming it into him, dragging him across the ground against a sheet of ice, then leaping up and smashing him into the ground!

Estraole On Ice

Kazuya gets got, shakily getting up before turning into his Devil Form, firing off one massive beam!

Regardless of outcome, he succumbs to his injuries before he can regenerate them.

Sub-Zero gets blown away.

Seeing his foe down for the count as he gets up, he simply scoffs and departs into the veil of the blizzard, disregarding the Shadaloo crew.

Estraole On Ice

Bison simulation laughs into the sky as Kaz is erased and revived at Shadaloo HQ, and the storm subsides.

Juni and Juli report back in; besides Sub-Zero, there are none there besides them...

Them, and a man with a green hood and a metal mask.

Leaving through the exit to the Abyss brought Miles and the gang into another virtual void, with no trace of where they came from. "Okay, let's see, I've got a few more ideas..." Kazami said, voice still just kind of coming from the aether. "Oh, this'll work!"

The world resolved once again, into a familiar location - the underwater palace from one of their trips into Terraria, though the water had been drained. At the foot of that statue stood Draedon, as he had before, turning to face them as he settled into existence.

"No idea what this thing is, but it looks pretty dangerous. Memory readout says it's 'Draedon' - oh, I think you might have mentioned it at some point! Wait, the simulation is throwing some weird errors, give me a-" The Avali was cut off mid-sentence, leaving the group to figure out things on their own - though at least they weren't being attacked just yet.

"I see."

she was basically going to do the same thing, just without bringing ruby with her. she decided to just wait outside.

Kitty was now laying on the nearest bench, just waiting for her to come back she decided to call a friend on a portable mirror

"hey madeline.."

Upon seeing who was waiting for them, the whole group froze up, even Zero whom simply stood there stiff as a statue, memories flashing through his mind of how they'd utterly failed to even scratch the guy last time...

"Oi," Miles grabbed on to the Robobot's arm, startling him back to reality, "This ain't gonna be like last time. We tackle him all together and we can kick his shiny metal ass, got that?" The lad swore he heard breathing coming out of the machine before seeing a small nod. Perhaps the closest thing he'd see to a "thank you" from Zero.

"Something's not right though," Corona commented as she summoned a giant ice-based broadsword instinctively, "We barely even saw Draedon do anything the first time we fought him so how we supposed to handle this..."

"Yeah, Kazami glitched out before he could finish explaining so we're on our own, more or less," Miles remarked as also summoned his sword, waiting for the memory of Draedon to make the first move, "Guess all we can do is wait for him to make the first move..."
