Enter The Arena As Your Avatar -- The Spinoff!

It shouldn't take Thor too long to locate the hut, and if he enters, he'll come face to face with a massive pink crystal floating in the room, in which a seemingly slumbering Iris can be seen.

The crystal is heavily cracked.

   "I appreciate that."   , Hisoka says, genuinely meaning it. He then tilts his head as he looks at Nicole.

   "Are you sure? The girl almost had her head completely crushed. I also had to help her get her capsule, which I assume was a method to heal herself, because that red and purple creature that arrived last knocked it out of her hands. Or at least I think that's what it did. The sandstorm made it hard to see, even with Gyo."   

He smirks as he pockets his cards.

   "Gyo is an advanced Nen technique, in case you're wondering. Anyone who's undergone Nen training has to learn it."   

"Huh-"

Cutsman doesn't even have enough time to get a pun out before the sped-up Mega Man combos him, ending up with Cutsman on the ground, cartoonish swirls of dizziness in his eyes.

And as if he hadn't been punished enough, his launched scissors now return to him, hitting him in the face since he's lying down on the ground.

While quite a pathetic performance, in his defense, he did already try to fight megaman literally a few minutes ago.

"Ok, ok! Can the two of you take it down a notch, please?!!" Miles all but shouted as he shot to his feet, clearly having little patience for this. He glared between the two before calmly yet firmly setting his drink down,"Look...I have had a rotten week so far so you'll have to forgive me if I'm a little on edge, but..."

He pointed between the two,"It's obvious to me you've both screwed each other over in the past and I have no intentions of taking anyone's side here. Now, with that out of the way..." He turned his head to the goddess, "Miss Rhea, I'm not making excuses for her but if you knew the kind of shitshow her life has been like I think you'd agree it would turn most people into an asshole,''

"And as for you..." He narrowed his eyes at the Devourer,"I get that you don't like her, but even you got to admit we can't defeat your former boss with only the people we got now. Besides, you said it yourself that the source of our anger should be Yharim. Not the people he works for...and certainly not each other..."

He gestured with a thumb to Rhea,"Why should she be an exception to that? Remember, if it weren't for Yharim, you likely wouldn't have butted heads in the first place," He would take a moment to let all this settle in before sighing,"I'm not gonna force you guys to like each other...but I expect you both to be humble enough to at least apologize. Is that too much to ask from both of you?"

As he walks into the hut, Thor blinks in surprise upon realizing that Iris was indeed sleeping within the giant crystal.

"What the Hel...?"

Putting away his axe, he steps towards the crystal and reaches out to press his palm against it.

Smiling wryly, Nicole ties her jacket around her waist.

"If there's one thing I know for certain when it comes to Saiyans, it's that they love a good fight. You'd get along with 'em, I think," she replies. "Plus, Thor's apparently tight with the girl, so I doubt she's gonna let him face Donkey Head and his cult of evil alone even if they pull Cthulhu outta their asses."

"Remind me to ask you more about Nen-related stuff once I'm, you know, not still aching from the beatdown we got," Pietro chimes in.

megaman laughs at Cutsman's misfortune before providing support.

"b-ball pasta"

Some pasta made out of b-ball and jpeg magically floats down towards Cutsman. It should restore some HP if he takes it.

Mega Man deactivates Speed Gear, but he still runs up to megaman and attempts to slice him to pieces with Slash Claw.

Doing this actually seems to crack it further, and suddenly it breaks apart, which makes Iris fall on the ground.

She doesn't wake up though, and surprisingly doesn't seem to have hurt herself despite falling in a pile of crystals, which would usually be quite sharp.

She's still badly wounded from the fight, though her breathing is regular and she doesn't seem to be in pain, indicating that she just needs to rest up and heal her wounds.

Her necklace, no longer glowing, is hanging around her neck again. It must be very important to her if she, without hesitation, risks her life for it like that. And as Thor may remember that Iris specifically wished for this necklace as her prize, despite the fact that she could've wished for anything, should confirm that this necklace must be truly special for her.

   "Well, let's hope you're right. From what I could tell in the chaos, they threw out a lot of powerful moves."   , Hisoka says to Nicole before looking back at Pietro.

   "I'm not much of a teacher. But I wouldn't mind explaining the basic principles of Nen. Who knows, it might be enough for you or your friends to work with."   

He stretches his arms a little before he starts walking away, chuckling.

   "Once you want to know more, come find me near Min Min's shop, I'll probably be around there somewhere. She serves some very fine food."   

The b-ball pasta reaches Cutsman and restores some of his health, after which he gets back up.

"Now that dish was a cut above the rest, uruaaaahahaha."

Cue him attempting to grab Mega Man and, if successful, yeet him into the nearest temple wall.

The Slash Claw hits megaman and causes him to collapse like a LEGO structure. First his head falls off, then his arms, and thin his torso slips off his legs.

"what"

The part of his torso where his left arm was attached, and only that part, starts to bleed. His legs wiggle around trying to get themselves back to megaman's torso.

Mega Man is yote, but...

"Power Gear!" He fires an insta-charged shot to try and finish off megaman.

Cutsman, surprisingly, intervenes, trying to block the Charged Shot. Which he would have been able to pull off, where it not boosted by Power Gear. Instead, the blast knocks him off of his feet and onto the ground again, his body now showing battle damage.

"Agh..."

The Devourer glared at Miles, then at Rhea, before giving an exasperated sigh that faded into slight laughter.    "You know what, fuck it. I've shacked up with that disgusting floaty fire-rock asshole already. If I can team up with a years-long mortal enemy, why not this prick?"   

With that, she looked to Rhea.    "I'll apologize, kid. Sure. Don't think that means I like you, but... Enemy of my enemy, I guess. And... I was a tad harsh on you, yeah. So, I'm sorry."   

Crows start to show up. They pick up megaman's pieces one by one and start putting him back together.

"its dangersou to go alone"

megaman's right hand clenches into a fist, and a swarm of b-balls form around the general area of his body parts. After a second they start flying towards megaman like bullets.

"pew pew pwew"

After recovering from the initial shock of both the crystal shattering and the fact that Iris was continuing to sleep through it, Thor brushes the shards aside and sits down beside her.

"For you to risk death simply to recover this necklace, Iris... it must mean the world to you."

Smiling, he allows the angel to rest her head upon his lap.

"Heh... You more than earned that dress after today's... catastrophe. But I don't know if I should continue letting you help me fight the Cabal."

"Sounds like a plan to me! You know I love those noodles she cooks."

With that, Pietro begins heading for Rorikstead whereas Nicole decides to make her way towards Riverwood.

"Maybe I oughta meet up with Neuffie... odds are we'll probably need Neuffcole to take down Eleven."

"Wow, taking a hit for someone else? Talk about character development." Mega Man uses a Skull Barrier+ to stop the assault, then drops out of Power Gear.

"Look, I'm willing to let you guys off the hook. Hit me one more time and I will rain fury like you have never seen before upon you."

Rhea folds her arms and rolls her eyes. "I literally just said I wasn't going to - whatever."

She smirks and materializes a c h e e m s b u r b g e r from nothing. "We cool?" She offers it to the Devourer.

Iris continues to sleep silently and peacefully. As she rests, some of the crystals start to fade away into nothing, while others remain.

It'll probably take a few hours before she'll wake. Moving her to a bed won't wake her either, so if Thor eventually decides to do that, he can do so safely.

"D-don't get the wrong idea about that.", Cutsman says as he slowly gets back up, glaring. "I was programmed to cut you down to size, and he... well, apparently his beef with you is more personal. What makes you think I'll back down like some coward?"

   "I guess we are."    The Devourer responded, accepting the peace offering and immediately chowing down on it.    "... Huh. Tasty."   

"what are you a robot or something" he says to Cutsman.

He looks at Mega Man as his body is fitted back together by the crows, who fly off.

"stop copying me and i wont have to dunk you all over these coarts"

"Fine. Call me Rock Light instead of Mega Man, but I can't change the look. That enough to sate you?"

He turns to Cutsman. "And we can settle our business later."

...Ok, that worked way better than I thought it would...

"Well...alright then. Good..." He nodded in approval before taking a seat next to the Devourer and going to pull her into a one-armed hug around the waist, not hearing the giggling going on in the background from the rest of his gang.

"Now we got that unpleasantness out of the way, I should apologize for vanishing as long as I did, Miss Rhea. I didn't intend to. In fact, me and the gang were trying to come up with a plan to deal with Galeem and Dharkon and...I don't know, I guess we lost track of time or something..." Miles looked away guiltily as he pulled out a scroll.

"But by the time we got back, the fighting was already done so this became next to useless..." To prove his point, he chucked it over his shoulder,"And ever since we did get back we been wrapped up in one crisis after another. The electronic ghost of a child murderer took over an arcade then we got caught up in helping this android girl named 42 with...whatever she was trying to do..."

He suddenly had a thoughtful look on his face,"Come to think of it, I should check in on her at some point. Anyways, now we're currently in the middle of trying to save this other world called Terraria from its king, Yharim, who wants to steal the very power source of this world..."

Despite the dire situation, he squeezed Devourer affectionately and chuckled,"And would you believe it all started cause of this little troublemaker here?" He meant it in a fun, teasing way, of course.

After a moment or two, Thor picks up Iris and walks over to the nearest bed, then gently lays her down upon it before collapsing wearily into the first chair he sees. Dropping his weapons to the floor, the god of thunder lets out a lengthy, exhausted sigh as he finally allows himself to rest.

"Wow, that's one wacky adventure."

Rhea sits down and materializes a borger for herself. "Sounds like you really had a change of heart. I don't suppose you would need my help to deal with Yharim? Cuz the other guys... prooobably won't do any good. They're fine, by the way, picked up a new member."

"... yes, I am.", Cutsman says to megaman. "And so is he."

He then turns to Mega Man and growls.

"... well, I suppose it'd be foolish to come at you while damaged. You clearly have some new, cutting-edge tech on you. I'll accept this, for now."

"i am"

"ok"

megaman starts to just walk away like absolutely nothing happened here. He actually summons one last MagicPasta for Cutsman, though.

Rock sighs. "This was... bad. Like I said, we'll settle this later, but..."

He shakes his head. "I get the unshakable feeling it's a bad time to be a good guy."

With that, he warps out.

Cutsman takes the healing item and it heals his physical damage... somehow, despite his body being made of steel. He decides not to question it.

"A strange remark.", he says after Mega Man has left. "... but if this is a good-guy thing, it doesn't concern me anyway."

He then walks off too.

The Devourer sorta gave Miles the side-eye at his hugging, but didn't comment on it.    "You know, honestly... We could use all the help we can get. Yharim wants to do much more than just go fucking with the respawns or whatever. As much as a genius as Draedon is, he probably couldn't pull that off - at least not on a large scale. That being said, I dunno what exactly it is he wants with the Arena... But it can't be good. Considering the kind of shit he's done to Terraria, I wouldn't want to see him get creative with this place."
