The knife, being far away from Lucien, as he was watching Wanda and Alderoth, completely fails to startle him. Lucien hops up onto a raises area, and begins wandering.

There goes my motivation for playing, mostly.

   Indeed it is, you must be Jupiter.    Isaac pulls up a serious fire wall, almost solid, as the buster hits it, all that makes it out is a small stream, but it's enough to hit Isaac in the shoulder.
