"Anyway, thanks to Troa, I've learned something important about Set's plans: he's constructing this pyramid-shaped weapon in his base of operations."

Miles snickered,"Alright, you keep playing. I'll be back in a jiffy." He headed off to look for said stool but as he did, he'd pass by several unoccupied cabinets...which would start to glitch out randomly. The glitches would only last a few seconds, but those with an observant eye would notice something...

A very particular face...with purple eyes..

Arcade

Kusanagi walks by the arcade's entrance before he smacks the back of his neck.

Kusanagi: "The hell? What was that?"

He shrugs, but keeps walking. Slowly...

Rhea's Arena

Dylan looks down at Omega and simply blinks.

Dylan: "Uh, you okay?"

Off in the distance, a trio of figures watches the group's arrival.

Zenkichi notices in the middle of a gaming break. "Ah, hell, something's going on with those cabinets."

"Huh?"

"Ah. Yes. A superweapon, of course. Why didn't we realize it sooner." Callis shakes her head. "This was pretty predictable, if you ask me. I suppose the problem is that we don't know where his lair is?"

Thor confirms Callis' suspicions with a nod.

"With any luck, though, I'll know exactly where it is after my next meeting with Troa."

As Miles walked back, he stopped upon noticing the glitches getting worse,"What the..." He leaned in closer, or for a few brief seconds he caught a glimpse of the masked figure. Upon doing so, his skin went white,"No...no...no,no,no."

"Yo, Miles," Nebula patted him on the shoulder,looking a little worried,"Our game kinda glitched out. Any ideas wha-" She never got to finish as Miles put a Ki-infused punch through the screen in front of him,"HEY! What did you do that for?!"

Ignoring her, he turned to call to everyone,"Zenkichi-sensei! Get your daughter out of here! Charlotte, we need to leave now!" Suddenly, every screen in the building suddenly flickered to the image of a single purple eye staring out into the world.

That's when a distorted voice echoed through the arcade,"My dear, sweet Charlotte...it's so nice to see you again..."

Charlotte quivers.

"Y... you...!"

Zenkichi rushes in front of the screen, blocking the eye's "view" of Charlie.

"Alright!"

Callis sighs. "Can I go patch up now?"

Arcade

Kusanagi peeks through the door.

Kusanagi: "You know what? It smells like bitch in here- AHA!"

He catches a glimse of Glitchtrap in one of the arcade cabinet screens and bursts in, skidding to a halt and smirking.

Kusanagi: "That's the beauty of this place. I can reduce you to ash again and again!"

"Of course. Hopefully, the next time we see each other, I'll have learnt the location of Set's hideout."

Thor tousles Callis' hair, smiling slightly.

"Heh, and I pray that Vegeta won't be too upset when you tell him that Katre and Troa aren't our enemies."

"William Afton..." Miles snarled, actually baring his teeth, which to those who knew him would definitely appear as very much not him,"I see you somehow managed to escape the grasp of the grim reaper again..."

"Ah, you know my name? I'm flattered," A raspy laugh echoed from all the arcade cabinets, as if the madman was everywhere,"I must admit, I didn't expect to end up here as part of my revival, but I'm not one to look a gift horse in the mouth. Besides, me and the little one with you have unfinished business, so do me a favor and step aside, please?"

"Not happening!" Both Nebula and Corona took up defensive positions around Charlotte,"You're gonna have to go through all of us first, you monster!"

"Monster? Me?" A snort echoed through the speakers,"I suppose such a response is expected from the un-enlightened. Ah well, it won't matter soon..." Suddenly, bundles of wires formed into giant hands and began trying to grab the gang.

Arcade

Kusanagi: "Not so fast! It's time for round two!"

He releases a wave of fire in front of him, aiming to incinerate the wires going for him. If it doesn't work, he gets grabbed.

Zenkichi gets caught, but Valjean protects Akane.

Charlotte's shadow extends out and grasping hands snatch at all the wire-hands, keeping them at bay.

"Don't worry, I can just fight him until he calms down!" Callis snickers, and promptly warps away with Instant Transmission.

Once Callis has departed, Thor makes his way out of the Sleeping Giant Inn before flying off.

Kusanagi's flames incinerate some of the wire-based hands but more come after him. If these grab him, they'll start dragging him towards the largest screen in the building. As if aiming to pull him in.

The Sisters start shooting waves of fire and ice to burn away and shatter all the wires around them. Shyna on her end hurls energy-based cutter boomerangs to slice apart the wires. Even Zero pitches in, using brute strength to just rip and tear the wires out of the cabinets and walls.

Miles slices and dices his way through the walls of wiring before firing off a Ki Blast to destroy one of the cabinets,"William's an electronic ghost now, so try and destroy as many of the cabinets as you can to keep him from affecting the real world!" One of the wires ensnared his hand but he cut it off.

The whole time they fought, William's laugh echoed through the building, enjoying the spectacle before him...

Zenkichi thinks about his options.

I AM THOU, THOU ART I...

"I'm gonna risk it!" He dives into one of the cabinet screens, going through it like a Mario 64 painting.

Charlotte sees his move. "Afton... I'm going to enjoy this more than you could ever enjoy anything in your miserable life!" She immediately does the same.

Arcade

Kusanagi: "I'll burn your very soul to ash! Have at it!"

Kusanagi forces flame out of his body in a circle around him, then, if freed, runs and hops into the arcade cabinet anyway.

Vs. Blixer

Rho's summon unfurled its manipulator arms and charged at Blixer, with Rho still mounted atop to guide and empower his summon!

"I'll take that as a compliment!"

Reprium

"Honestly, I just like knowing where I am so that can get supplies if I run out. I'm not the best survivalist out there."

Tournament Stage

"Congratulations! I also heard something about one of you being involved in repelling a particularly nasty... visitor, of sorts, from my realm — well done with that as well, by the way. Would you like to celebrate with a test of power? Not with me, though — my associates were the ones who wished to spar, if you do as well."

Tiamat gestured to the others, who she had not realized were currently engaged in... whatever this was.

"... Technical difficulties, I'll assume."

Omega yelped in a very unskeletal way as he shot of the floor in surprised, taking the heal-arrow out of his ribcage before turning back into a man and not a skeleton man.

"While I do appreciate the heals, please give some warning when firing those things please. I... should be good now though."

"Wait!" Miles called out to those who dove into the tv portal and sighed in dismay,"Welp, as the old saying goes...if you can't beat them, join them." As such, he also dove into the portal.

The two sisters glanced at each other and shook their heads in disappointment before also jumping in. "Wait for me!" Shyna called as she joined them too.

"You're not leaving me behind!" Zero roared as he went to join them...only to bounce off the screen after cracking it,"What?" He stood up and kept trying to pass through it, only to find he could not,"....You have got to be kidding me..." ___________________________

Within the digital world...

"Uggh, my head..." Miles groaned as he opened his eyes, only to see he was standing in some sort of pizzeria. Feeling something on his face, he reached up to see that his body was locked in some sort of animatronic suit, and by the looks of it, it was one of the Bonnie suits.

"Miles?" He heard a voice in the back of his head, and it sounded like Shyna,"Ah geez, what have we gotten ourselves into now?"

The fused pair heard a yelp and turned to see Golden Freddy examining his hands. A brief flash of red and blue lights could be seen in its empty eye sockets,"Nebula? Corona?"

Domon's charge misses as Blixer rockets forward towards Rho and his summon, then swerving upwards to get on top - and punch Rho straight off of it, before sweeping his cannons across its back at full power.

The platform had started to slow down its ascent as it approached the very top - it was almost there.

Digital World

Kusanagi looks at his hands, overall confused. He stands and looks over to Miles and the fusion before putting his hand to his... beak?

Kusanagi: "Ah, I see. Digital avatars or something?"

Kusanagi, now known to be in the form of Chica, holds his hand out. Flame still erupts, just as it should.

Domon's hand suddenly starts glowing green.

"Shining FINGER!"

Well, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. He goes for Blixer with the same grab move that previously oneshot Barracuda... although Blixer is significantly more likely to survive getting hit by it.

Charlotte and Zenkichi are stuck inside costumes for Freddy and Foxy, respectively.

Zenkichi groans. "This is uncomfortable... Valjean!" His Persona appears outside the costume and blows it apart, revealing him in his Phantom Thief outfit underneath.

"Well, whoever runs this place sees us as a threat, at least."

"Is this trying to make me freeze up from repressed fears?"

Charlotte suddenly goes ghost and phases out of the suit. "Well it's not gonna work!" She sends her shadows to grab the other suits and rip them open to reveal those inside.

Somewhere

Callis realizes that Oca, in his infinite mad-brain-ness, might actually decide to nuke a place where Troa is just to test his weaponry if not warned otherwise.

"Shit..."

She quickly throws together a warning message about Troa being on their side and warps it to Purater.

Falkreath Hold

Master Asia is going zoom through the hold of Falkreath. Where he will stop, nobody knows.

With the suits destroyed, the gang split back to their component parts and were left sitting there on the stage,"Uggh...thanks, Charlotte." Miles rubbed his forehead as he got up,"Alright, let's find William and put an end to this."

They'd head down the hallway of the pizzeria to a door labeled "Maintenance Room". Cautiously, Miles would open it...and the sight inside made him want to throw up. All along the walls were row after row of Fnaf Masks from every installment in the franchise. As if that weren't bad enough, there were monitors scattered about depicting news articles of all the gruesome tragedies that occurred over the years.

This was a trophy room to a madman.

A swivel chair sat at the end, facing away from them, and then the person sitting in it spoke,"So...you came," For the longest time, there was silence and when the voice came again, it sounded almost human,"You know, Charlotte...your father was a smart man. Very smart, actually. However, he always...lacked something. A certain quality that only those who seek to truly change the world have..."

The figure turned to reveal....Glitchtrap

"Ambition."

Falkreath Hold

A rift opens up just above the ground, and a wretched little man walks through.

"Ach! After ten-thousand years, I am out of zat wretched prison! It is time to conquer ze Earth! ... Or zis place!"

The little man laughs evilly for a second.

Charlotte is stunned into silence.

However, surprisingly, someone you'd think has no stake in this is the one to put himself front and center.

"Ambition... You know who else had ambition? Masayoshi Shido." Zenkichi steps towards Glitchtrap.

"Shido had ambition to rule all of Japan, and he had a massive conspiracy that controlled the entire government... even the police... with which to do it. At the peak of his power, he was worshipped as... no, he practically was a god. And the Phantom Thieves tore down everything he did..." He snaps his fingers. "Just like that."

"Akira Konoe had the same idea, except he wanted to do it so that people like you wouldn't have power. He thought he was the hero of his story, and even when he literally enslaved the masses' minds to be obsessed with him, the Phantom Thieves brought him down."

Valjean appears behind Zenkichi, arms folded like a badass.

"You know who I am?"

Cue Megidolaon.

"I'm a Phantom Thief."

Master Asia stops instantly and slowly, menacingly turns around to face the Dictator.

"... A Nazi?" he growls.

The bad man starts in surprise at the sound of Asia's voice, and turns to him.

"Eh?! Zis area was supposed to be unpopulated! Where this guy you come from?!"

He coughs into a fist, seemingly unaware that he just said that out loud, and points above his head.

"N-nooooo... I have a halo, see?"
