Dahlila observes the destruction from her spot and shrugs.

   Fucking hell, my haven.   

Ninten notices it, but doesn't say anything about it for the time being. He then remembers the drink he's already holding and it gives him an idea on how to proceed.

"So, Xion, do you want to get something to drink? I'd say my treat, but everything in this place is already free.", he says, laughing a little.

He rubs his eyes for a moment.

"I'll see what I can do... after I've had some sleep. If I try to go anywhere now I'm just gonna collapse. Ugh... you're really lucky this was my last case for a few days."

"Um, sure, I'd like that. Non-alcoholic only, please."

For the time being, Ninten can now perceive Xion's face entirely as Kairi's face - which is still not Xion's own face.

"Okay, thanks... And goodnight." Fu hangs up.

"!"

"Gyarados, return! Palkia!"

Cyrus sends out the Dragon of Space.

"Get us out of here with Hyperspace Hole!"

   "Gowaugh!"   

"A girl after my heart. I don't like alcohol either.", he says with another smirk. He then gestures over to a nearby cafe, waiting for her to start walking before he goes along with her.

"G'night.", Future Ninten mutters before hanging up before his head drops down onto his pillow. He's out in less than a second.

In contrast to Adachi, who flees away from the onslaught, Sans inexorably starts actually closing in on the Sovereign.

"look, kid. or whatever you are. 'look, ancient aberration from beyond reality as we know it, whose mere presence is a reminder of the ephemeral nature of our existence' doesn't have the same ring to it."

Countless Gaster Blasters are appearing by his side, firing and disappearing in an attempt to thin out the onslaught, bone barrier after bone barrier is conjured to block the rest, and even then, Sans' own impressive dodging abilities are put to the test by what's left.

"i said it once, and i'll say it again. sometimes, you just gotta learn to give up. kind of a 'do as i say not as i do' thing, is it? if i knew how give up, i would have done it a long time ago. but instead, i stopped halfway in. i gave up trying to make any change for the better, but the moment something finally makes a move to let it all end, i come running to protect a world that ultimately isn't worth it. i guess it's kinda fitting, for a lazybones like me. i even half-assed giving up. you don't want a life like mine."

And still he doesn't stop. With the hollow, but implacable resolution of a man with nothing to lose, the skeleton inexorably pushes through the impenetrable onslaught.

"and ultimately, what are you trying to do? 'boo-hoo-hoo, we're all doomed to disappear from existence, so let's kill everyone before it happens'? whoop-de-doo. what's your point? everyone dies eventually. every story ends one day. at least have the decency to let it end when it's supposed to. let people enjoy at least a few moments' worth of happiness before their tale comes to a natural end."

A massive Gaster Blaster, several times his own size, appears in front of him.

"but no. you just can't do that, can you? you have to spead your misery to everyone. that's why you're the 'sovereign of sorrow'. more like sovereign of crybabies. what a drama queen. you claim you're doing this for some kind of greater good but you're lying to everyone and most of all yourself. the truth is you just can't stand bearing your own sorrow alone. you're miserable, so everyone has to share your misery. die miserably for you, bearing your own burdens. how is that fair to anyone? if you really care about us... or anyone..."

The skull opens its massive jaws and fires into the darkness.

"...leave and never come back."

The Sovereign descends to the ground, panting and wheezing, sounding like she's about ready to vomit from stress... and then she realizes her attack failed to kill anyone.

"You're still alive?!" asks the Sovereign incredulously, moments before she is engulfed by the Gaster Blaster - but she still stands.

"Yep," answers Adachi as he approaches from the dust and smoke of what remains.    "BITCH!"    he shouts as a somewhat odd one-liner as he smacks her across the face with his gun.

She's so worn-out now that this blow is able to send her stumbling back, clutching her face in apparent agony. She drops to one knee. She has no response for Sans, only cold, bitter silence.

Xion follows Ninten.

"So, what kinds of places around here do you prefer? There's this one ice cream shop that's really good and -" she starts rambling. In the middle of her talk, Ninten might be able to catch mention of these two kids she met and a really powerful and angry cat-man who they... well, failed to fend off, but some enigmatic guy with really goofy hairdo showed up and took him out, claiming to be his attendant who had lost track of him.

...nothing happens. Sans sits down on the ground.

"i'll probably regret it, but... i guess paps rubbed off on me harder than i thought. i should finish you off where you stand. it's not like anyone would miss you. but... at least, unlike the anomaly, you tried to make things right. in your own misguided way, but, points for trying, i guess. i just hope anything i said is actually getting through your skull. or... mask, i guess."

Despite Ninten's own tendency to ramble... a lot... he proves here that he's a surprisingly good listener too, not saying anything until Xion's done talking.

"To be honest, I haven't really spent too much time just looking around this place 'cause of how dangerous it is, so I haven't had the chance to find any nice spots.", he says. "You should take me to that ice cream shop someday, I'd love to try it."

Once in the cafe, he walks over to the bar with her.

"You met a two kids who can seemingly do anything, a destroyer god, and someone strong enough to knock out said destroyer god... and here I thought this place couldn't surprise me anymore. Although I guess meeting you was a good kind of surprise, huh?", he asks, winking playfully. He then grabs a menu from the bar and hands it to her.

"Here ya go."

"Here's to hoping none of those four ever become Pseudo's enemies.", he thinks to himself.

Space Fortress Gravitas

Ansem enters the Throne Room through a shadow portal, accompanied by some T-Doll Shadows.

Ansem: "Lord Narktus. Jedah Dohma, one of the members of X's recent entourage, is trying to go under our noses independently and betray us."

Narktus leans forward.

Narktus: "Tell me, is there more to it than that? What exactly does he intend to do to betray us?"

Ansem: "He seems to be trying to use us for some sort of larger goal. As we speak, he's making for the Arena to try and contact other potential allies, most notably Beerus The Destroyer."

Narktus: "So, what would you have me do? Beerus can't be controlled, not by me, and definitely not by him."

He slouches back. "I could stop him before he gets started... but if we allow his hubris to get the better of him, we may have a better chance of seeing who's really helping him."

Ansem: "Actually, that's why I brought these Shadows along. These two are my personal charges of sorts, upgraded far beyond that of normal Shadows using my powers of darkness."

On a second note, one would see that two of the T-Dolls are noticeably different, being taller and sleeker, as well as having a dark, wispy aura.

Ansem: "I want to send them off as spies of sorts, accompanying Jedah as to monitor his actions."

Narktus smirks.

Narktus: "Then I'll pass them along to X with instructions to pass them along to Jedah. That should do it."

Whiterun, Edge Of Destruction

Covered in a barrier of energy, yet barely holding up, a demon descends, away from the fight both physically and mentally. He's followed by two T-Doll Abyssals, also known as Ansem's personal charges.

Jedah: "Amidst all of this chaos, I offer you a proposition..."

He lands and steps forward, the other two keeping their distance. All that's left are this distance is echoes of the attack, but it's enough to bounce off the barrier.

Jedah: "Destroyer."

Castle Dedede Entrance

A young girl steps through the door.

She tosses in a limp body, revealed to be a barely-hanging-on Orochi.

A man tries to catch up to her, but she blows him away.

???: "Noah! What the hell is all of this about? Where are we?"

Noah: "It matters not, as do you! With the power of both Orochi and the Phantom Gate, I have the power to control this world!"

Her eyes gloss over black as chaotic power emanates throughout the castle. Orochi's body lands in the open, for all to see...

Noah puts her hand in the air, chaotic energy spewing out of it...

Vague Whiterun Hold

And landing in a part of Whiterun that seems to be healing unnaturally fast.

The energy morphs, taking forms of Solomon and Bowser, both towering over the landscape and donning outfits similar to Goenitz.

Before they could speak, music steals their attention, and the attention of anyone nearby.

BLACK BANDICOOT

"We've had enough of destruction raining on our turf!

"So come and take us on... if you dare!"

"And face the wrath of Dr. Neo Cortex!"

"And the mad genius of Megamind!"

Black Bandicoot bursts through out of nowhere, a larger, bulkier, and all around edgier model of Mecha Bandicoot that once again sports brand new rear-tearing capabilities. It shoulder-checks the duo, knocking them both back a tad.

False Solomon:    "I guess we dare, punks!"   

False Bowser:    "Have at it, boys! This will be your last battle!"   

Only the last scene is open to people I haven't already contacted.

Cyrus emerges from a wormhole, holding a Red Chain.

"... I do not resent you, so-called Sovereign. Do what you think must be done - to your own world. But if you attempt to interfere with my own vision again, I will utterly rend you."

He sits.

"If you cease your ridiculous efforts here, I would not be averse to making peace."

Tears roll down the Sovereign's cheeks as her sight-obscuring purple glow fades, revealing the form of some kind of unrecognizable fantasy girl with purple eyes, peering through the mask.

Clutching her chest, barely able to breathe, she falls to all fours.

"I-is this... the power of hope?"

She looks up at Sans. "Yes, I see now... you may claim you're lazy, but you still hope things won't end the way I foresaw, and you're willing to fight to ensure they don't come to pass."

Next, she addresses Adachi. "You want everything to remain as it was. Even though you once aspired for the same thing as Cyrus, you still now seek... normality."

Lastly comes Cyrus. "And... you... you're lying to yourself. You hope your philosophy is right and the world you've made is perfect, but your very determination to shut down any evidence to the contrary is proof that you're wrong."

She winces slightly and scrunches her face. "Hope and determination... such a strange... and powerful force." With a smile, she slumps over and collapses on her side.

"Huhhh... Hehhhh... Hahhhh..." Adachi strikes a triumphant pose. "That's right... don't pick a fight... with someone who has nothing to lose." He holsters his gun and falls on his ass. "So, what're you guys gonna do now?"

Xion smiles and nods.

She suddenly gasps. "Hold on - I remember you! You were in the Realm of Darkness, but you were unaware of my existence! Only the other artificial being - the one who was leading you - saw me!"

Whiterun Outskirts

"And to whom do I owe the visit?" asks Beerus. He seems much more interested in the fight nearby, though since it has just ended, he returns his attention to Jedah.

Castle Dedede

The Waddle Dee guards are startled and shocked by Noah's approach and demonstration.

"... The King will want to hear about this."

They know better than to pick a fight they won't win, so they just stand aside and let her continue.

Ninten looks surprised at first, then a bit uncomfortable.

"Ah... that place..."

Then he pauses.

"Wait, you were in there? I mean, Ps-um, my companion did mention he felt like someone was watching us, but we didn't see anyone."

Beat

"... does that mean you saw me being... being a bit less brave than I usually am? B-because I'm not usually that panicky.", he asks, looking embarrassed.

Xion laughs lightheartedly at Ninten. "You're funny. I mean that in like... a good way, though. Get that?"

She gets an orange soda.

"... Perhaps. My world seems to be functioning so far, though."

He kneels down and looks over the Sovereign.

"I might as well tend to her. As much as others would say so, I would not like to think of myself as evil."

He's surprised again, but only for a moment, after which he laughs in a similarly lighthearted way.

"Yeah. Thanks, Xion.", he says. "You're fun to be around."

Then he looks curious.

"Why were you out here by yourself? Not that I wanna imply you can't defend yourself, but as you certainly realized with that destroyer god incident you talked about, this place isn't all that safe."

He smirks.

"I can teleport away in an instant with my powers, which is why I'm not too scared."

Whiterun, Edge Of Destruction

Jedah: "I am known as Jedah Dohma. And I want you to join me. Together, we can rebuild this world in our image!"

Beerus, no matter how much attention he was paying, should be able to tell that the word "our" was strained, like he meant to say "my" but hesitated.

Castle Dedede

Noah: "Seems like these creatures know their place. How adorable."

She walks through the castle, smirking as she approaches the throne room.

The male rushes into the castle and guns for Orochi, who sits weakly.

Orochi: "She caught me off guard... I was weakened. I just gave somebody a fraction of my power, and I hadn't gotten the returns quite yet..."

???: "Hey, no worries man. I got ya. I know Noah can be a bit much. A lot of the time."

He scans Orochi up and down and flinches a little before, oddly enough, resuming to normal.

???: "Hey. I don't know if you're different here or not, but we gotta get out of here right now. I don't know if she's coming back this way."

Orochi: "If she goes into that throne room..."

He chuckles.

Orochi: "It's likely that she's not coming back out."

"Well, I'm not exactly weak," Xion answers. "I doubt most people could beat me in a straight fight, Beerus was just an... exceptionally powerful being."

"You have me mistaken for a Supreme Kai," says Beerus as he glares menacingly.

"I am a God of Destruction. I destroy so that others can create."

He raises up a hand to Jedah's face. "And no one but Grand Zeno can dare to even think he can use me. Especially not a demon who fancies himself a god." He attempts to send Jedah hurtling away with a finger flick.

"I think I'll destroy you instead."

If the flick succeeded, Beerus will rush along at hyperspeed with his hands behind his back to catch up and eventually pass Jedah, letting the demon fly towards him before he gently places a hand on Jedah's shoulder to catch him and shove him into the ground hard enough to make a crater.

Castle Dedede Throne Room

King Dedede lies in wait. Somehow, he knows.

Well, he knows Noah is coming before she arrives, but he doesn't yet know she stole Orochi's power.

Vague Whiterun Hold

"God forgeev me."

Beasts and monsters plummet out of the sky, machines fail, and death is wreaked on a level that would make the Sovereign of Sorrow cower in fear, as an absolutely disgusting woman approaches the scene of battle.

Jedah gets bitched. Hard.

He gets up, raising his hand and pulling up shards of blood and darkness from under Beerus as an attempt to attack him.

Jedah: "Damn... you!"

The Abyssals simply stand back, observing.

Castle Dedede Throne Room

Noah enters, smirkng.

Noah: "I suppose you're the king of this castle?"

She walks in and does this sort of half-Jojo pose, holding her hand out in Dedede's direction.

Vague Whiterun Hold

False Solomon:    "Uh..."   

The False Gaints and their mechanical opponent both stop dead in their tracks, simply looking on at the woman and the chaos she caused.

Beerus gets knocked into the air by the shards, but he lands on his feet and seems to be unscathed. He grooms his face with his hands in a very cat-like fashion, then claps his hands together and spreads them out to create a Sphere of Destruction, which he promptly yeets at Jedah!

"... That I am. I can tell you don't have any good in mind."

Dedede brandishes his hammer just to make the point clear.

The Final Pam gets closer, and closer...

She stares up at Black Bandicoot.

"You, hav dis. It vil amyooze Pam." She gives the giant mecha a Fat Man.

PAM WHY

... Then again, who are the 'good guys' here?

"If you don't mind, I'm gonna... bone out. I'm dead tired." Double rimshot. The dude is truly an artist of his terrible, terrible craft.

To be honest, there is another reason he is looking to get out of here sooner rather than later. If the eldritch horror wakes up pissed for some reason, he and his measly DEF would rather not be in the line of fire, not to mention he's not getting the greatest feeling from his "companions" either. Adachi has that characteristic expression of someone who has killed for fun, and it doesn't take a genius to figure out Cyrus has Crobats in his belfry. But world-ending events make strange bedfellows.

"Heh. Suit yourselves. I've gotta go catch up with those... 'Phantom Thieves' kids." Adachi runs off in his own direction.

Samsara, Lucina and Morgan are hanging around near the Tropique Base. Morgan is attacking the two with fire spells, and they both react to it.

It seems that their little exercise involve dodging spells, which seems wise since plenty of strong people in their world's history had access to powerful tomes.

Shepherds Base, Tropique

Ribbonverse!Android 20 (yes I'm insisting on calling him that) appears in front of the base, accompanied by a small collection of bug-robots.

"Hellooooo! I'm back to learn more!"

Newly Added: Fire, Arcfire

They stop and, upon seeing the bugs, they almost prepare to attack. Fortunately, Samsara's cooler head prevails and she hold her hands out to prevent Lucina from charging in.

Oh hey mister! Is your wei... is your unique wife along for the ride?

Morgan look at the bugs and point. What are those? They're like bugs but... big and made out of metal. I don't think I can crush those with my trusty tome... W-well, not like I'd do that!
