Bismark quickly hides behind one of the buildings, catching his breath. He'd been running for a few minutes, trying to get away from that freaky metal woman that tried to attack him. While smoke mixes in with his breath for a moment, he calms down pretty quickly, believing himself to be alone at the moment.

Shrine to Peryite

Nicole, wearing her Venom-themed leather jacket, halts her shadowboxing session upon hearing her phone go off. After reading Nik's chilling text, her eyes go wide with horror, and she wastes no time sending a reply.

Be right there

Spreading her dragon wings, she takes off like a bullet towards Markarth before landing in front of the Understone Keep, then drawing Olympus' Wrath as she looks around for either Nik or the mysterious assailant.

Nik looks at the phone and ducks out of the Keep. But before she sees Nicole, she sees him.

There, approaching from the street below, is Hit.

He calmly walks towards her, hands in his pockets.

"Eep..."

"You know running is pointless."

"O-oh yeah...? Then why haven't you caught up and killed me yet?"

Hit closes his eyes and smirks. "I was hoping you'd fight back."

Nik's eyes widen, and in that instant purple light erupts from numerous pressure points on her body all at once.

"Glauhk-! Agh..."

"But now I will simply finish my job," says Hit, now standing behind her and in front of Nicole, as she collapses.

Nik begins tapping her finger on the ground, to let Nicole know she's still alive and stall the finishing blow.

It's also a message in Morse, whose vibrations are amplified by magic to reach much further.

UNDERSTONE HIT BACKUP HELP

In a single instant, Hit can hear both the sound of a lightsaber being ignited and the sound of rock blowing up, and he might want to concentrate on the former and dodge (either through his fantastic speed or time-skipping powers) to avoid a nasty slash at his back!

Landing after his downward blow, Anakin deploys the full might of Djem So, his aggressive fighting style, using his Force-enhanced speed and strength and flurry of attacks to try to overwhelm Hit. In another universe, there is a large gap of power, and said gap is still present now, but the assassin might find himself at least surprised by the sheer speed of Anakin's attacks, as he attempt to swing his weapons with great skill and fury, attempting to take a limb or cause deep wounds.

He also attempts to drive Hit backward and prevent him from reaching Nik.

Above them, part of the ceiling of the keep has a hole on it, caused by a quick Force Push.

Bismark sees Nicole landing nearby and recognizes her from when they fought the Batter. She looks like she's in a hurry, and she looks worried too.

"Hrm...", he mumbles to himself, wondering if he should go and see if everything's alright. He doesn't really want to, because, with his luck, he'll find himself in another conflict while having just escaped one moments before.

"D-darnit!", he curses under his breath before deciding to follow Nicole towards the Keep. It wouldn't be fair to ditch her when she may need help, not after she helped defend Hugo.

Nicole immediately wheels around.

"Glali!"

Snarling like a true dragon, she lashes out and attempts to slash Hit across the face with a diagonal swing of her Zeus-forged blade. Noticeably, her usual sassy demeanor is completely absent.

Regardless of whether or not she managed to wound the alien assassin, she crouches beside the injured Nik afterwards, relieved that she was still alive.

"Dammit... Hang in there, Glali! I'm gonna get someone to patch you up and get'cha to safety, okay?"

She sends a quick text to Deut regarding the situation in Markarth and Nik's injuries. Given the circumstances, she doesn't yet notice Bismark.

Hit reacts to the incoming attacks by using Time-Skip and simply moving out of the way before everything resumes, but this has successfully put distance between him and Nik.

Also, to everyone except Hit, it looks like holy crap he can teleport.

"You're not my targets. I don't want an excess of bloodshed."

He raises his hands out of his pockets and takes a basic-looking fighting stance.

"But I cannot allow you to impede me."

The Crown Jewel of Universe 6, Hit! (Hit's Theme - Dragon Ball FighterZ)

Hit momentarily flashes. If anyone attacks him in this state, it will appear to them that he has been struck and knocked back... until the temporal illusion of him disappears and is replaced by the real deal's counter-attack - a blow aimed at the chin that releases a purple 'beam' of energy.

Nik briefly grasps Nicole's leg. "D...don't... try to run... fight!"

Anakin attack impetuously but get struck in the chin, though he immediately lash out with several swings of his lightsaber, displaying enough anger and force-assisted durability to carry on even after the blow.

Bismark arrives just in time to see Hit seemingly teleport and he becomes paler than he already is.

"O-oh no, is he a Specter?"

He takes a deep breath, both to calm himself, and to summon forth his smoke once he breathes out. He's already in this deep, he can't turn tail and run now. ... unless everyone else does too, in which case he wouldn't hesitate to get out as well.

He doesn't attack Hit yet, instead forming his Burnt claws on his hands, as well as surrounding his legs and feet with Burnt smoke.

"For god's sake, Deut, are you too busy coddling that stuck-up precious little bitch and the psychotic Hot Topic reject to actually help someone who clearly needs it...?"

Swearing under her breath, Nicole offers Nik a reassuring smile. Well, as reassuring as she can manage, given the situation.

"Don't worry, Glali, I ain't leaving without making Hit wish he'd passed on this job."

Seeing as Anna was nowhere to be seen and she didn't currently have anything from Zacharie she could use to heal her friend, she decides to stay by her side in case Hit attempted to finish his job, Olympus' Wrath at the ready.

Hit raises his arms in defense. Anakin might be surprised that his lightsaber seemingly 'clips' through his enemy without cleanly slicing him apart, but all the same there are some scar/burn marks from the swings.

Seeing that Bismark is clearly intending to join the fight, he jumps into the air and does an overhead flip kick aimed at the Elsen's forehead.

"... cool..."

Clearspring Tarn

The lightning god Raijin sits in meditation, hovering over the small pond.

His brow furrows, and in an instant he attempts to summon Lord Ninth to himself in a bolt of black lightning.

Bismark reacts quickly and raises his claws to block Hit's attack. To Bismark's own surprise, he finds that they're sturdy enough to do so.

Thinking fast, he then moves his claws to the side rapidly, trying to catch Hit off guard for just a moment, after which he'll follow it up with a flurry of slashes, trying to strike at Hit as much as he can.

Anakin attempts to assist the Elsen by trying to Force Push Hit through the wall of the Keep after the latter is done with his assault. Regardless of his success, he immediately move in for another series of ruthless attacks, aiming to keep the hitman's attention on him.

He does try to point away from the temple at Nicole, as if signaling to her that she should go there.

A very confused Lord Ninth is currently standing in front of Raijin, her black coat half put-on.

Why am I... oh, I remember you.

Deut's phone doesn't catch stuff through dimensional walls (and probably can't even make contact with a much older device), and she's a bit too busy talking with Ain about plans relating to Jam to really answer, you're on your own Nicole.

Nicole takes Nik's hand and gives it a reassuring squeeze, then notices Anakin nonverbally suggesting that she get her friend the hell outta dodge while he kept Hit busy. Nodding, she moves to scoop Nik up in her arms, then legs it as fast as she can towards the Silver-Blood Inn.

"Yeah, I know you literally just told me not to run, but hanging around here while you're all banged up doesn't strike me as smart! And if Hit wants you, then he's gotta get through me first!"

Thanks to Bismark holding him off, Hit goes flying back and through the doors from the Force Push. However, his aura bursts around him as he guards against Anakin's follow-up attacks, hovering ever-so-slightly off the ground.

He attempts to deliver a stunning strike to Anakin's head with a single knuckle. If successful, he will continue hitting Anakin in specific points on his body to keep him concussed, before launching him into the air with an uppercut.

Nik does not resist. "Okay... be careful! And... do help the others."

"Yeah, Neuff, right? Remember that whole 'storms' thing?" Raijin points to Ninth's forearm-marks.◊

He sheepishly rubs the back of his head. "I looked away for one second and the Gold Keeper got kidnapped. Do me a favor and rescue her? After giving away all of my marks, I'm afraid I'm not strong enough to fend off her captors myself."

His hands crackle with multicolored lightning. "Although I can at least get you to where she is, you'll probably have to find the way back on your own."

Anakin parry some attacks but get overwhelmed and uppercuted aside, not landing on his two feet and being, for the moment, quite stunned!

...

Ninth nods calmly, understanding the situation, and just prepare an attack, preparing herself for the teleportation!

Seeing Anakin getting attacked, Bismark attempts to help. He focuses, letting out a Burnt-like hiss as his eyes shimmer.

Luckily this is not an indicator of him losing control, but rather him using a Burnt technique he's learnt since the last time he was in a fight.

When his eyes shimmer, an illusory target appears on Hit's back. Then, only a moment later, unless Hit notices and dodges from the spot he's currently in, he'll get hit with a dark blast.

"Trust me, Glali, leaving them to fight him off alone wasn't on my to-do list today."

Once she's reached the Silver-Blood Inn, Nicole carries Nik inside and towards the first room she sees, then lays her down on the bed.

"Alright. I'm gonna give Hit an asskicking, then I'll be right back."

She kisses her forehead before leaving the inn, spreading her wings, and flying back towards the fight. Upon arriving, she swoops towards Hit like a falcon descending upon its prey, then attempts to deliver a momentum-fueled diving kick to the chest with both feet.

Hit gets knocked towards Bismark by the dark blast, and Nicole's kick bounces him off the ground, but he manages to land on his hands and spring back to his feet.

Reality seems to crack in front of him, a 'shattered glass'-like texture spreading forth from where he stands.

The first person to be touched by this gradual time-skip will be caught in frozen time and promptly struck with a barrage of punches as Hit slides past them; however, to those outside the effect, it will look more like he did a single sliding punch that somehow hit multiple times.

"Alright." Raijin raises up one hand, and electricity consumes Ninth, carrying her across dimensional boundaries...

and landing her square in Space Fortress Gravitas, Maximum Security, deep under the surface of the fortress.

There is nobody in this brig save for Terlette, who is currently in the middle of being locked away...

"What now?"

"I feel... something." Boros suddenly turns to face Ninth, giving her a toothy Slasher Smile. "Power... Unbelievable power radiates off of you!"

Tossing Terlette into the cell and activating a forcefield over it, he holds a hand out to Ninth in a clawed shape and points his palm upwards, as if asking to receive something from her. "Come. Give me the equal battle I long for."

Ninth nods quietly to Terlette, and tries not to be excited about the upcoming fight. She pull her fist backward and shoot forward, attempting to punch Boros.

Let us make it quick!

Anakin get back up and nod quickly to his allies. He's too far away to be struck by Hit, but come swinging once its done, leaping back into the fray with great energy and swinging his sword at him with Djem So!

Of course, he's quite confused at Hit's vanishing move, but he doesn't let it affect him.

Bismark is the one caught in Hit's combo-punches, and is shocked and confused when he finds himself flying against a nearby wall when, just a moment earlier, Hit was a good distance away from him.

Hit Fight

Still confused after that earlier fight against those robots, Morph Moth wanders around the area. She spots the fight and wonders if she should interfere or not. Last time it led to chaos.

Still, she tries catching Bismark, before he dies a foolish death.

"Are you okay?" the Reploid asks.

Nicole gets caught in Hit's time-skip and staggered by the ensuing series of blows.

"Argh... Crap... that's right, he can do that weird-ass time skipping attack."

Coating her fists with Arcane Magic, she unleashes a quick series of punches and kicks at Hit, capping off her assault with a spinning wheel kick.

Another opponent? Hit thinks even as Anakin and Nicole drive him further into the keep. This is starting to look bad...

After blocking their last strikes, he surrounds himself in his aura and flies over to the Jarl's throne, standing in front of it as he makes a big show of powering up.

Like the counter he opened the fight with, this is a trick. So much as getting near him will result in the aggressor eating a super-massive punch with Hit's full power behind it!

Based on the Death Blow attack in FighterZ, which consumes all of Hit's Ki at once to deliver a punch that launches a thicc purple energy wave. It can instantly take like 1 or 2 fifths of the opponent's life bar in a single hit at max Ki, and that's why he's charging up beforehand.

The blow sends Boros stumbling back, cracking his armor.

"Good, good!"

His eye narrows. "My turn."

Boros flies forward and tries to strike Ninth with a punch so strong, the shockwave of a successful impact will cave away the floor, ceiling, and walls around them by a few feet in all directions.

BATTLE!! - One Punch Man

Bismark gets caught by Morph Moth. After registering what happened, he looks grateful and relieved.

"Y-yeah. I don't know who you are, but thank you."

He then gets back on his feet.

"I-it's dangerous here, so you should be careful. We're fighting a very strong Specter. ... at least I think he's a Specter. ... but he's still very strong regardless."

His eyes shimmer, and a target-like emblem appears on Hit once more. No attack comes just yet though.
