What's going on here?

Oh, Lady Samsara! We're just arguing about which one of us should get promoted. Do you have any choices?

Hm... I do.

Samsara glances at them all.

For all the others, I'll pay for your own Master Seals, promise. I'd like... to promote Saizo.

Saizo, who was admittedly watching the events from afar, look curious.

I don't need a promotion.

You should, my friend. It would be dishonorable to refuse such a proposition after all!

Saizo considers Ryoma, and Samsara giddily smiles at the crown prince. Saizo sighs and acquire the Master Seal.

So, am I next to get promoted after this?

Of course, Prince Takumi! But you're quite the fearsome archer already and you can pull your weight already!

Takumi seems convinced enough.

Thor nods, figuring that Iris either didn't fully remember or didn't want to discuss a potentially personal subject.

"Well, if I may be so bold... I think it's only fitting that such a beautiful necklace was crafted for one as beautiful as you, Iris."

She smiles happily.

"Ah, thank you~"

She then proceeds to playfully boop Thor on his nose before flying out of the water, now hovering safely above it to avoid another dive.

"So, when's the big attack going to happen?"

"Nah, don't worry. All of our stuff is in the Ballista.", Anna says as Jake is working on getting everything out of it. They then witness the debacle and smile.

"We still have a Master Seal for sale too. Though I'll need to go replenish stock soon, because it's the last one we have."

Well then. says Takumi, smiling. He pulls out a bag of gold, and while Samsara steps forward, he denies her offer, shaking his head.

It'd be uncourteous of me to have you pay.

Oboro swoon discretely, while the gathered Sheperds throws her a glance. She does catch herself soon enough, and is helped by the fact that Saizo's promotion is a brief firework, with the ninja being briefly engulfed in the light before emerging under a different, more complete uniform. Tellingly, he boasts some rather nasty armblades now.

Now to put those new abilities to the test.

Congratulations, Saizo!

You're looking sharp!

Saizo nods with great respect to Ryoma but stares flatly at Samsara.

Chuckling, Thor swims back to land and gets out of the water, then smiles back at Iris.

"Once I've managed to deprive Thanos of one of his greatest assets and all the necessary preparations have been made, that's when Loki and I intend to set our plan into motion," he says. "I'll be sure to inform you when that day comes."

"Alright.", Iris says. "I'll be ready."

Her stomach then growls a bit.

"... and apparently I'm hungry too."

The Master Seal is bought, and Anna happily puts the gold away.

"You know, since you're letting us stay here, how about I cook for all of you? I'm a pretty good cook, if I do say so myself."

"Oh, that's a good idea! He's really good, and he's used to making a lot of food in a short period of time. He's cooked for me and my sisters before during a family gathering and there was enough for all of us.", Anna says.

That's really kind of you! Thank you!

Takumi, not one to be outdone, flash with as much brillance as Saizo briefly before appearing in the garbs of a Sniper, getting quite the applause again. He appears proud, though the other Sheperds disperse soon afterwards since there's not much to gain anymore.

That was quite generous of you two. Those promotions will pay off soon!

Thor summons Stormbringer to his hand.

"What say we find ourselves a meal, then?"

"Sounds like a good idea to me.", Iris says, flying much closer to the ground now, right next to Thor.

"No problem at all. Just show me to the kitchen.", Jake laughs.

"Come then, Lady Iris. We'll have ourselves a feast worthy of Asgard!"

Thor begins walking towards Vilemyr Inn in Ivarstead.

Samsara nods, and take them to the kitchen. To do so, however, they need to go through the halls.

The halls are clean enough fortunately, even if they seems empty, since the fort was meant to house a lot of soldiers in the first place. One can hear some chatter though, or Raijinto's sound as it unleash its lighting at some dummy.

Samsara reaches the kitchens, revealing them to be a lot neater than one would think. At the very least, going by the way Frederick is attempting to erase one last pile of dust in the corner, it appears that the sheperds are careful about not soiling where they eat.

"You're speaking my language.", she gleefully says as she follows him.

Anna and Jake look around a bit as they hear the sounds that travel through the halls. Once they arrive in the kitchen, Jake blinks at seeing Frederick at work. Anna doesn't though, already more than used to this from her time in their world.

Jake makes his way over to the cooking area, and Anna looks around, then points towards a door.

"I'll leave you guys to work in peace then."

We'll warn when Frederick is done, erm... have a good stay!

Samsara nods with a graceful smile at them, and depart!

Anna leaves as well to let Jake do his thing. He'll need the concentration, since he'll have to cook for a lot of people.

Lloyd is able to reactivate Guts Man. It would take more time to repair him, given his dismantled state, but now Sombra is able to reformat the loyalties of all three remaining robots.

Kardas continues thrashing in pain, but without Ninten adding to the song, it's not quite powerful enough to finish the purification. The glow in its throat continues building... but the dragon doesn't fire. Instead, it closes its throat, and the glow begins overtaking its whole body.

For a moment, a flash of desperation passes in Kardas' eyes like a silent plea for help, before the evil magic floods its eyes and starts seeping out of them like it once did with Sombra. It becomes obvious that the evil force, having given up on winning this round, is forcing the beast to self-destruct in hopes of taking everyone with it.

"Guys... having calculated the predicted yield of the incoming explosion through the average yield of this thing's explosions and the buildup speed of its energy... it is my professional opinion that we're all screwed!"

"... I must concur with this statement...", Lloyd mutters, immediately realizing what's about to happen, and unable to do a thing about it. None of his gear will protect any of them.

"... t... take a... melody~..."

Lloyd, hearing Ninten's voice, turns to look at him. Ninten is leaning on one arm, unable to fully stand up due to the pain in his side and in his head, which may be something serious as he's bleeding from his forehead too. Regardless, he's trying his best to sing.

"Simple as can be... give it some words... and... sweet harmony~..."

Lloyd helps him up, supporting him by letting him hang on his shoulder. Now that he's up, Ninten has an easier time finishing the song.

"Raise your voices... all day long now... love grows strong now~"

He smirks in his usual Ninten-y way, silently declaring that he's putting all of his cards down on the melodies working.

"Sing... a melody of love... oh love~"

Mata Nui pours additional life power into his shield, making it larger. However, due to the huge gaps in the top and bottom, only the very center of the shield only stands so much as a chance at defending someone.

Kubi raises his guard, surrounding himself in his colored orbs.

That finally does it. There is an unearthly scream as the darkness seems to bleed out of Kardas' body and disappears into the ground, leaving repugnant-looking stains.

However, Kardas' purification does not remove his energy overload. As soon as he is free, the dragon immediately discharges his energy. The mother of all beams is unleashed, not at anyone in the group, but at the ceiling.

Bury The Past

The old base shakes to its very foundations as if from a monster earthquake. What few lights still remained start dying. Not very far away at all, they can hear tremendous noise as the whole underground structure begins collapsing, forever burying Porky and Sombra's legacy for good - and, if something's not done very soon, them along with it!

Ninten and Lloyd do their best to cover their ears, wanting to protect themselves from the ungodly scream.

Then Kardas starts making the base collapse.

"We have to run, right now! S-someone carry Ninten, I'm not strong enough to carry him and run!"

"I... I dun' think we'll be fast enough either way.", Ninten groans while holding his head. "We don't know where we have to go from here, or how far it is."

"T-then are we gonna...", Lloyd asks, in shock. Ninten doesn't answer, looking like he doesn't have much hope for this situation.

Then, however, Botar suddenly warps in, to their shock.

"B-Botar!? How... but we can't-"

"The outside area started to quake violently, so I came in to see if you needed help. Pseudo has received your distress signal, and I just arrived with back-up-"

"We don't have time to talk this much right now!", Ninten yells, panicked. Botar just clears his throat, appearing a little offended. However, with Mata Nui present, he's not going to derail from what's most important for the sake of his pride.

"Hmph."

His face glows, and everyone present in this hallway, including Kardas, will be warped outside to safety.

Mata Nui and Kubi are warped away by Botar.

Dragonsreach

Trainer!Reyna is using the great porch of Dragonsreach to conduct S C I E N C E , a Lunala floating behind her.

"Go!"

Lunala lets out its signature shrieking cry, causing an Ultra Wormhole to open up in the air before them.

A Gohan falls out.

"Buh?!"

He hops up and looks around. From his perspective, he was just walking along when this blue thing suddenly opened up under him.

Poké Balls line his belt...?

"Whoa," says T!Reyna. "First time that's happened."

She runs up to Gohan. Hey, you okay?"

"Uh..." he dusts himself off, "Yeah, I'm fine."

"Er, who are you? And what just happened...?"

"I'm Reyna. You got pulled here by an Ultra Wormhole. Sorry about that, things happen." Reyna rubs the back of her head.

The question marks are damn near visible.

"Oooohkay."

"What, uh... is this still that Pokémon place?"

Gears are turning. Did he get isekai'd again? It's only been a couple of weeks!
