Morgan starts walking.

"Yeah, like... um... oh! How are you adjusting to living here? Have you been sent on any missions yet?", Morgan asks.

Solstheim, Nchardak

Nicole emerges from the Dwemer Ruin known as Nchardak, having decided to go out for a little exploring.

"Okay... was not expecting to find friggin' steampunk ruins, of all things, in this Viking-ish place," she muses, a smile spreading across her face. "I'm so exploring one of these bad boys with Glali someday!"

Not yet. And yeah... I'd like to go out sometimes but I'm thankful about being picked up from the forest, so I'm not complaining.

He stretch his arms.

I've got nothing to complain about so far.

"I'm guessing Julius wants to make sure you've fully recovered before you get sent on any missions.", Morgan says. Then he stops walking.

"Here it is.", he says, opening his door. Turns out his room isn't that far from Niagara's.

Once they can enter the room, Niagara will see that the basic layout of the room looks pretty much the same as that of his own. However, there's a lot of books (both Dark Tomes and regular books) and worn out weapons present too, some of them scattered on the ground.

"Sorry about the mess, I always forget to clean up.", Morgan apologizes as he walks over to his closet. "You, uh, can sit on the bed if you want. There's nothing on that."

Once Anna's group is near the ruin, Clarisse is the first one to notice Nicole.

"Ah, it's Nicole.", she points out to get the attention of the rest of the group. They look, and the moment they spot her Anna starts heading over to her, looking happy.

"Hey, Nicole!", she calls out as the rest of the group follows her.

Solstheim, Nchardak

Nicole's ears perk up at the sound of Anna's voice, and the Arcane half-dragon turns to greet the red-haired merchant and her companions with a grin.

"Hey, Anna!"

She walks over to Anna before giving her a big hug.

"It's so good to have you back in the flesh, girl!"

He admires the room, and look at it, his eyes briefly being... glazed over. He checks the room (without touching anything though) and then sit down on the bed.

Well, there's... something on it now. he says, before grinning at his joke/

Morgan actually chuckles at the joke. Seems like their sense of humor isn't that different from one another's.

He then removes his cloak, revealing that he has thin but regular clothes underneath it. Strangely, not even a single piece of armor or protective gear.

Due to his cloak being removed, this is the first time anyone can get a really good look at the way he looks normally.

For someone who's apparently a primary magic user, he looks pretty buff. Not too buff for his age, nor is he too tall either, but he's not as scrawny as someone his age would normally be. His fully black hair is now fully visible, but most notably, his eyes are clear to see, not covered by the shadow of his hood.

And his eyes seem to be a golden color somehow, which is definitely not a natural eye color for anyone to have.

Without the cloak, it's now also clearly visible that the glove covering the hand with the Fell Mark is actually a long glove, stretching out some distance over the rest of his arm, while the other one is a regular one, stopping at his wrist.

The bad thing about this is that more wounds are revealed, mostly on his face, neck, and upper arms. He doesn't look as alright as he makes himself out to be.

She wastes no time in hugging Nicole back.

"I'm glad to be back~ But I was worried about you, none of us had seen you since Galeem's and Dharkon's defeat."

"I did tell Anna that you were most likely fine. You're a strong one.", Clarisse says as the others arrive. "It didn't stop her much from worrying though."

"How are you doing these days?", Jake asks.

Those are not regular training wounds, Morgan. he says, grimacing and wincing a little at the sight of the wounds.

Especially when they're on the neck...

With who did you train ? asks Niagara.

Nicole tousles Anna's hair as they embrace, chuckling lightly.

"Aww, that's really sweet of you, but you didn't have to worry about lil' ol' me. I've just been spending time with my buddy, Nik. She's a half-dragon like me," she explains.

He flinches for a moment, then turns to look at Niagara and tries to laugh a little in an attempt to make the situation seem less serious.

"Um... Risen.", Morgan says, glancing away with his eyes. "They're expendable, so grandfather insists that, if I want to train to get combat experience, I should use those. The thing is, they don't exactly listen to me unless my mother tells them to, so..."

He then shrugs.

"But hey, I've done it this way for years now. I'm used to it. Some healing magic and I'll be back to normal again."

"I'm very relieved to hear that.", Anna says.

Old Hubba approaches the two, looking happy.

"It's a lovely sight to see you two reunited. Though I do believe we should update Nicole on the situation."

"Ah, right.", Anna says.

Solstheim, Nchardak

After a short while, Nicole finishes the hug before putting an arm around Anna.

"Lemme guess: once those giant floaty eyeballs finally got what they deserved, all the Einherjar were reactivated? Did whatever death cult that creep Manfroy belongs to summon a new dragon god for me to fight?"

Risen are... pretty dangerous.Father has great wisdom, but this seems to be pretty imprudent. he says, attempting to choose his words very, very wisely.

"Yeah, but I can't be a Grimleal if I can't even fight our own Risen.", Morgan says. "Besides, my mother agrees with the idea. She can intervene if things ever look dicey."

He grabs another cloak out of the closet, but puts it down on the chair instead of immediately putting it on.

"Besides, thanks to my training, I can actually take on the strongest Risen we have.", he says, smiling.

"No, actually, we haven't seen any Einherjar activity yet.", Anna says.

"However, save for Clarisse, all of the Einherjar who were allied with us have turned back into cards.", Jake says.

"We don't have the cards for Naesala, Oliver or the Black Knight though, so they may still be out there somewhere too."

"Luckily, thanks to Clarisse's efforts, we were able to reclaim the other cards before anyone else could. But now we'll have to make do without their help for a while, until their cards are active again.", Old Hubba says. "Which means Minerva and the Whitewings won't be able to help us right now."

Clarisse has a proud, slightly smug smirk on her face upon hearing Hubba's praise. Though in this case, it's probably deserved. And she doesn't overdo it either, quickly looking serious again.

"Anna's sisters went back home for the time being too. Understandable, given what we've experienced. This does mean that our current forces are limited to everyone currently present here plus Samsara's group."

"Which, unfortunately, means we'll have a much tougher time tracking down the other Einherjar, and the map those thieves stole from me. I haven't given up on getting that back.", Anna says.

Hm...

He does not seems to approve, but surely it must be good if Grima approves of it, right ? He had no reason to be suspicious.

A sorcerer with a Nosferatu tome ? asks Niagara, wirily.

Morgan looks confused, probably wondering why Niagara suddenly asks about Nosferatu.

"Nosferatu? I used to use that, but now I use Aversa's Night instead. Aunt Aversa personally created that tome. It's a little harder to aim with, but it deals more damage, so it heals more."

He snickers.

"Though I don't waste that tome against Risen. I just use a simple Flux tome instead."

Errr. I met a Risen with Nosferatu once, and he was hard to take down because of his defense and tome. In the good hands, it can make for quite the unstoppable wizard, and if you ever need to, there's always Vengeance.

He scratch the top of his head.

You're quite proficient with tomes, but I was excepting that, to be honest.

"Ah, damn... Galeem and Dharkon really screwed a lotta things up when they dragged everyone into their little bitchfest, didn't they?"

Nicole manages to crack a reassuring smile.

"Still, I've beaten the odds before, I can do it again. Besides, Sam's apparently recruited a lot of new folks into her squad, and I'd bet Olympus' Wrath here that Nik would be happy to help us round up the Einherjar."

She taps the hilt of her Zeus-gifted sword.

"O-oh, that's what you mean! Sorry.", Morgan says. "But yeah, the Risen I train with have pretty advanced weapons. I can deal with Nosferatu-using Risen just fine too."

He then looks amused.

"Vengeance? That's actually one of the skills I have."

He then looks happy at the praise Niagara gives him.

"T-thanks. They're my main weapon of choice. And you... you're a Dark Knight, so you use swords and tomes, right? Which one are you better at?"

"They sure did.", Anna sighs. She then looks grateful.

"Thanks, you've all been a really great help. I don't know if we'd gotten this far without you."

Hm ? Oh.. to be honest, I like to be polyvalent.

He raises his hand and pulls out a Steel Sword, before putting it back in its sheath. He also hold up a Thoron tome, and also put it back in.

For an instance. I'm not as powerful in magic as my son, but I've got better skills in swordsmanship. And I may never best his girlfriend in a duel when it come to swords, but I can attack her from afar.

This way, I could fit in compositions, as a warrior or mage. I'm going to admit a preference with tomes, to a degree, but I had good teachers when it come to fighting at melee. Lon'Qu, for instance, or Chrom. Maybe even Luci.

Niagara freezes, and stop talking, observing the ceiling with a creepy, empty expression.

Nicole flashes a grin at Anna before tousling her hair.

"Ah, don't mention it, Anna!"

Morgan raises an eyebrow, intrigued.

"So you balanced both, huh?"

He then looks slightly disturbed by Niagara's sudden silence and ceiling staring.

"... um... Niagara?", he asks, uncertain. "A-are you okay?"

Anna looks happy, but then switches to apologetic.

"I should also mention that the Secret Shop isn't stationed in the town anymore. We're returning to our traveling roots. Mostly out of safety precautions.", Anna says.

"So this does mean that it'll be more difficult for us to find one another.", Jake says. "Though you can fly, and you should be able to see my Ballista from in the air, so maybe not as difficult as it'd normally be."

na is quite skilled too. I'm not embarrassed to admit that she'd beat me in a straight fight, pretty easily too.

He appears confused by Morgan's own confusion but then resumes the talk once more, before the young boy can speak up, almost like he's "programmed" to say the next line.

I know. It sounds pretty.. weird to downplay my achievements, but knowing your current limits is key to progressing. And beside, knowing that it'd take a warrior princess to best me at sword-fighting is actually doing wonders to my ego.

Niagara scratch the back of his head.

And to be honest, I'm not a fan of straight fights when I can avoid it. Don't be a coward, but do not hesitate to be pragmatic, you know ? he says.

Solitude, Nchardak

"Well, at least it'll be a helluva lot more secretive now, won't it?" Nicole remarks, chuckling lightly. "Don't worry, after everything that's happened, I get why y'all wanna go for the whole nomadic route. Though if you ever feel like setting up shop again, there's a nice city just over on that lovely piece of land."

She points to Skyrim in the distance.

"The city's called Solitude. Me and Nik decided to stay there after we had a little party with her friends at the local inn. You ask me, it's a perfect place for your store."

Morgan continues to be confused, saying several soft "uh's" as Niagara is talking, stopping when he realizes he's not gonna get to ask.

"I... well, yeah, I... can agree with that.", Morgan says.

"Yeah, it'll be back to how it used to be.", Anna laughs. "I'll probably not make use of Member Cards though. We won't really earn much here if we limit our customers."

She then glances at the direction of Solitude when Nicole points out.

"Are there a lot of people there to do business with? I was under the impression that not a lot of people live in these parts, and setting up shop in a mostly empty city won't do us much good."

... Is there something wrong ?

If you ask. If I need to, I will assist you in fighting the sheperds. I know most of them after all, so I am aware of what they can do and how to exploit their reaction to my return.
