Rin notices the reflection and glances backward without turning around.

There's Kakleon, still sitting at the same spot, sitting casually with his arms slung around several shadow people.

Rin fully turns around now.

"Who're you? You look comfy in this place."

Guess. he replies, with a pleasant yet wiry smirk.

Rin rolls her eyes. "A hint would be appreciated? Not like I'm a regular."

Huh... well then, I'm the owner. he says, pointing at himself. So. As usual, don't pick a fight, don't try to vomit or damage the furniture, be polite to me and... that's that.

"Well, about 2 minutes ago, I bet I would've responded with 'fuck you' and trying to bludgeon you over the head." Rin winks at Kakleon.

"But I'm not who I was two minutes ago, so I guess we're all just a bit better off, huh?"

Hmm, I'd say you're the one better off. he says, cryptically.

Better hope that your alternate personality or whatever is not going to come out during the party. It'd be a shame.

Kakleon raise his hand, and there's a red light, distinct from the ones everywhere around him. Then, when it fade, a beer can is present in his hand.

"Nah, she ain't coming back now. And I'd like it to stay that way." Rin reclines against the bar counter.

"What's this about a party?"

The big celebration for when those flying things bite it. he says.

Or... anything, really. It's a nightclub of infinite joy, when there's always a reason to just get shredded and waste the night away, and start alllll over again. Right now, we're celebrating the 100th time some leaf felt off.

Rin stifles a laugh. "Really? Well, perhaps I oughta check back in a few days and you'll be celebrating the fifteenth anniversary of your fourth-ever patron's death."

His eyes widen for a small moment.

Huh, you knew about it all along ?

Rin actually laughs. Unlike her alter ego, this laugh is much more subdued, more of a dark chuckle than loud guffawing.

"Good question. Well... you just told me."

Oh yeah... I tend to talk more than I should. Bad habits but I just like hearing the song of my voice.

He taps a little.

Which s why you're hearing me when all that fiesta is going down.

"Well, you do have that kind of voice."

Rin makes a small gesture to Kakleon. "Tell you what. When I come back - and I will be back - I can perform a song for you. I'll just need a stage first."

He silently point to a large stage, currently occupied by twitching shadows. Smoke emanate near the stage, and there's a lot of light and sound coming off it.

Oohh, nice. It'd be new for the patrons.

"Why thank you. I'll be sure to stop by this place again. For now, though, I'm gonna head out." Rin gets off her seat.

"Oh, right, what's your name? Mine is Rin."

Easy to remember, neat. Mine's Kakleon, the one and only.

"Well, it's been a pleasure, Kakleon." Rin does a bow, then hefts her bat over her shoulder and swaggers on out of the nightclub.

The Final Battle

Samurai Jack prowls the dark clouds. Despite the altercation with Galeem's puppet earlier, he looks perfectly fine now.

Well, save for still having Dharkon's aura.

The Final Battle

Dunban and Flynn would both arrive on scene, swords at their sides. They'd look towards jack, flynn speaking up first. "You're the next foe blocking the path, then. That garb reminds me of the samurai of mikado from the olden days... and that blade... On better terms, I'd treat you, and whatever spirit you're with, as a potential friend. What a shame." Flynn would sigh as dunban speaks up, first to flynn, then to the foe before them. "Flynn, put those thoughts aside and draw your blade. Servant of dharkon, draw your steel as well. If you have anything to say before we cross blades, say it now."

Dunban would prepare to draw his rather large blade with one hand, as flynn readies himself to draw his.

Jack turns to face the fighters and makes a calm Bring It gesture, chuckling slightly to himself.

• The enemy loves to taunt
• The enemy's slashing and piercing attacks have increased power
• Hostile assist trophies will appear

The Only Thing I Know for Real

Suddenly, Boros!

The alien conqueror swoops down on the scene of imminent combat and glances over them. He decides that as long as there are others fighting Jack, he may as well not bother dirtying his hands on an enemy he knows is beneath him.

In case you missed his debut, this version of Boros is from another crossover continuity - the same one as Narktus and co. He was ordered to hunt down and 'retrieve' any members of Gravitas who had been lost to Galeem's attack. Samurai Jack as a brainwashed alter ego 'Mad Jack' is such a member, which is why Boros is here.

Jack taunts again, this time planting his feet and declaring,    "No escape."   

Assist Trophy Enemies

A cyborg ninja appears.◊ "Make me feel alive again!"

Gray Fox rushes at Dunban and stops with a rapid flurry of attacks from his own sword.

The only thing I know for real

Dunban swerves out of the way of gray fox's slash, his right arm taking a hit as he moves, albeit not a lethal one. Dunban would smile, silently nodding to the assist trophy gray fox before attacking with a move known as gale slash.

Flynn, in the meanwhile, would draw masakado's sword, moving in to meet the other samurai head on. He'd not strike yet, currently closing the distance, buffing his attack stat in the meanwhile. He'd speak up to his foe after shooting the newcomer a short glance. "Let's end this. Im not having another enemy run away on me."

Jack spreads his arms out, Jetstream Sam-style.

Then he finally does an attack, leaping into the air and performing a plunging stab at Flynn as he descends.

Gray Fox is knocked back by the Gale Slash, but he ultimately lands on his feet and attacks Dunban with another flurry.

Flynn, instead of backing down, uses this attack as an opportunity to move in with one of his own, turning his momentum upwards slightly, moving in with a use of mortal jihad, a powerful physical spell, relying on a slash from flynn to carry its power over.

Dunban would maneuver through the flurry, taking a few cuts, but managing to avoid lethal injury. He'd reply to the flurry by doing a move which would seem like madness against a metal foe, but, having done such before, dunban attempts to slam his injured arm into gray fox, using an attack called electric gutbuster, in an attempt to knock them off balance and inflict break.

Jack is struck by the Mortal Jihad, launching him back into the air. He lands on all fours and rises up to his feet, taunting again.

Gray Fox staggers back on impact. "Hand-to-hand... is the basis of all combat!"

He simply stands there, ready to do another flurry if Dunban approaches again.
