RED is once again stopped.

Nanza would go splat against the invisible wall, stopping at 25 meters.

Face, recovered from his stupor, asks another question.

Face: "Why are we here?"

Pan answers immediately.

Xeno!Pan: "To get through!"

Solomon manifests, but gets right down to the point.

Solomon: "To stop RED."

Revenge taps his head before answering.

Xeno!Revenge: "The answer is easy: 42. It's the question we're looking for."

RED Chase: Face's Questioning

Face was not amused.

He was fine at first, as Pan, Solomon, and even Captain Falcon answered "correctly".

Then he felt like he was being joked at by Revenge and Joker, grumped to the point where he didn't even process Nanza.

His face morphed to that of a clown.

Face: "This is you right now."

He moved back 10 meters, and RED advanced. Faster.

Pan's eyes grew wide as she zoomed off, Revenge following after.

Captain Falcon gives Joker a look before bolting up high with a Falcon Dive and landing right under Face, after which his boost has run out. He has noticeable burn injuries.

Joker is out of there, jumping from platform to platform nearly diving into the abyss before grappling onto another platform. He's actually screaming, ripping the mask off his face for a persona to use a speed boosting spell.    "WHY DID I HAVE TO MAKE THE MONTY PYTHON REFRENCE? DAMN YOU EUROPEAN COMEDY! FUCK THE HOLY GRAIL ANYWAYS, THE HOLY GRAIL IS AN ASSHOLE!"

Shepards base

"The Incubators make deals with unsuspecting people, getting them into the "Magical Girl" system. We magical girls, Magi, Megucas, whatever, are part of a system they have. You see this?" Homura would hold up the hand which has the gem embedded in it. "This is my soul gem. Due to what the Incubators did, this is essentially "Me." My body doesn't even matter any more. That might seem like a benefit, which it is in some ways, but..." Homura would take a pistol out from behind her shield, and put it against the side of her head. "It might just be a way of making sure we don't kill ourselves before the process of our soul gems corrupting into grief seeds finishes." She fires the shot through her head, not fazed in the slightest, With madoka falling over in shock. She resumes talking with a hole right through her head. "If my soul gem was shattered, that would be a different story. When we use magic, usually, or if we experience a mental breakdown, we magical girls become witches, our soul gems corrupting into grief seeds. I've not become one yet because I know what I'm doing, and I have more experience than just about any other magical girl. This transformation into a witch is all part of the incubator's plans."

Madoka, in the meanwhile, would be a bit less casual about the whole "Shooting yourself in the head to make a point" deal. "Please never do that again homura..."

They listen, though when she shoot herself in the head, most recoil in surprise, horror or disgust. Only Miriel does not mind, attempting to approach Homura and check her injury, out of curiosity.

Shepards base

Madoka would be out of Miriel's way, as of falling over, so miriel would easily be able to come over to investigate. If she investigates homura's wounds, she'd note that the wound should most DEFINITELY be lethal, or, at the very least, should result in homura loosing conciousness. Homura should not be up and speaking after that. It also seems like the wound is closing itself.

Homura would then look over towards miriel, then back at the group, putting the gun away behind her shield again. "As the incubator may have explained, Witches are entities which have their own little realities, and generally lure people in. They're born of curses. Their grief seeds can be used to cleanse corruption in our soul gems. If a magical girl's soul gem becomes completely corrupt, through overruse of magic or enough sheer dispair, well... I've seen it for myself. We turn into witches if that happens, which releases a lot of energy. The Incubators do that to reverse something called "Entropy". Some may argue that there's a "Law of cycles" involved in this system... Disregard any mention of that." Now it seems like homura's keeping some secrets.

Meanwhile, Madoka would stand up, and would speak up. "I'm sorry if homura disturbed you, she's rather strange in general. She's rather nice if you get used to her, though. At least, she's nice to me."

Wounding yourself in the head, fatally at that, is only "strange" ? asks Takumi.

Miriel frowns when secrets are kept.

Please, provide elaboration upon entropy.

So, should we just kill those beings if they come up again ?

Homura would continue speaking. "You don't necessarily have to kill them, They'll likely keep coming if there's a chance that you'll make a deal. It might not be worth the effort. On another note however, Don't make contracts with them, Or at least, Think twice before you consider doing so. As for entropy... It'll take a while to explain. You don't even have electricity."

Madoka would take the time to talk now. "Excuse me, H...homura, did you even take the time to get to know who these people are? or anything about them, or about where we are? at all?" She'd look at the group after saying that. "Homura's strange. It's like she's been dealing with this for an eternity. Actually... Sorry, Who are you all anyways? I know homura shot up one of your rooms but I think we can still get along after this mess."

We have yet to master electricity to power devices. But do not underestimate us. We, too, have engaged in physical combat against monsters beyond the means of normal humans. And beside, I do not mind waiting. Please, explain.

Morgan steps forward when everyone's addressed, clapping her hands a little.

We're the Sheperds ! Erm... just be careful about repeat use of them, right ? I mean, we want to be your friends but still...

RED started to breath fire, only to be stopped again.

Face waited for everyone to reach 35 before asking his question.

Revenge and Pan skidded to a stop in mid-air, although Pan hit the brakes too late and went splat, earning a little chuckle from Revenge.

Thranix popped his neck, his eyes shutting for a moment to reflect on what the fuck he had just experienced.

"Sounds good. I might not rest too well, knowing that something psionic is nearby, but I can damn well try. I might be able to handle the weaponry repair work myself — although, your blades look a bit more... refined, I suppose, than my people's normal weapons of choice. Shouldnt be too hard to figure out, though. I served as a blade-for-hire a long time ago. Had to pick up some interesting repair tricks there, since I was serving with humans and elves in that little group... Damn, that was a long time ago..."

Thranix trailed off as he thought back to his military days, but he snapped back to present easily enough.

"Let's uh... yeah. Let's get some rest."

Kishar's spirit tumbled along the ground for a moment, before impacting with a small and sudden outcropping of rock that halted her momentum. She stood up, brushed herself off, and from behind her golden, seven-eyed mask, she simply said, "Insolent metallic! How dare you cast me aside!"

Something about the way she spoke seemed not entirely of her own doing, however — it seemed a stilted and impassionate.

EX-Dylan switched his aura to yellow, and prepared to get the hell out of dodge. Some serious shit felt like it was about to go done, and the portion of his mind that belong to Omega wanted to make sure he could outmaneuver whatever it was. Considering that AT Kulve's Golden Armor would be wearing off very shortly by the end of Def's next post, in fact, it wasn't that bad of an idea.

That and lightning is just so damn cool.

Iraaxos also needed to get the hell out of dodge — which he did with some delay. The action lag after casting a spell was just enough to ensure that, even as he dodge, his lower left leg was singed all the way down to the bone. It was hideous, and even more so for how he could still move the limb.

He swore in a tongue far older than any modern draconic, and the air crackled with electric disdain at his words — for this was a language of power. He narrowed his eyes as the pain shot through his nervous system, and spoke in a cold, calculating tone.

   "I know our mutual liege-lady holds you in some favor, Sapphire One... but she never specified that I was not to slay you a second time.   

The sky overhead darkened as storm clouds rolled in, and a blinding charge began to build along the crimson draconid's arms. He would be vulnerable while charging, but if nothing else, he would be drawing aggro away from the other fighters as he charged.

SI Gang

EX Dylan zipped the hell out of the way, Dylan's subconscious seemingly agreeing and taking over for a brief second.

EX Dylan: "First the exit strategy, and now the attack!"

EX Dylan's golden sheen melts off of him, dissolving into the ground and leaving no trace of it's existence.

EX Dylan: "Well, that's not promising."

The Warrior nodded at what it thought was EX Dylan's command, knocking the reflected lava aside with its tail and going for some sort of "shoulder" tackle, simply trying to tank through Xeno's fire, although not without some burns.

All the shots would hit the boss, and the chair would start to get dents all over it. The chair then starts to spin in cirlcles, shooting many bullets outward of itself in circle shapes.

The Cultist would dodge roll backwards, and start quickly moving back and forth while shooting the boss.

RED Chase

Joker finally reaches the 35 mark. He's terrified of what'll happen if he doesn't answer seriously, so He looks at the face, concerned.    "Sorry about that refrence last time around, Old european comedy, Didn't mean to offend you."   

Xeno'jiiva is toppled by the Warrior.

Man up, asshole! Rey shouts to himself in his head. He clambers up onto Xeno'jiiva by its legs and begins stabbing it with his sabers.

Kars crawls his way to safety so that he can regenerate because holy heck he lost a lot of his body from that beam.

Mordecai's shield starts getting low, so he begins strafing to dodge further attacks while he reloads.

Nanza YEET herself around the 35 meters mark, landing on her feet.
