She follows him, walking through the moss-covered, ruined tunnels.

As he and Cinke make their way through the base's tunnels/hallways in search of the deterrents Troa had employed to halt their infiltration, Thor decides to make conversation.

"So... exactly where the Hel did Troa even find these bloody traps? A fair amount of them seemed borderline magical in nature."

No. Just extremely advanced technology, impossible to distinguish from magic.

"But who could she have possibly obtained them from? Not even Stark is capable of forging technology advanced enough to be mistaken for magic at first glance, and those contraptions definitely weren't Asgardian."

As he converses with Cinke, Thor keeps an eye open for any sign of the aforementioned technology.

Reyna doubles over and slides backward on her feet from Thranix's attack, interrupting her charge-up.

She starts charging again.

CHASE ACT 2

One of the fishies is poked by Ryoma's spear, the weapon and poked fish disappearing into the depths.

RED grimaces, and the fishies slowed down by Mario and Incineroar are suddenly frozen by Melissa, floating in oddly adorable little ice cubes.

Melissa then moves forward to 30 Meters and freezes a 10-meter block of ice in place, beckoning the fighters forward.

Incineroar swims forward slowly.

Beowulf helps the cat along, moving them both 7 Meters.

Angel swims ahead due to Beowulf's protest, advancing a good 10 Meters.

Incineroar: 17/50

Beowulf: 17/50

Angel: 20/50

Melissa: 30/50

Piranhas frozen! Move unimpeded this turn!

Ice block will allow you to walk at 30 meters! Advance while you can!'

Mario swims like mad as far as he can, performing a Frog Suit-style breast stroke to catapult himself forward.

Xander swims as far as he can, and Frederick help him, using one hand to somehow easily swim forward while holding unto a grown armored-man. The horses are, sadly, done for.

Ryoma continues to swim, attempting to assist others.

Noctilum, Ruins of Troa's Underwater Base

"Right, right..."

As he and Cinke wander through the hallways, Thor continues to look around at the base's ruined interior for any possible sign of Troa's old defenses. Surely, at least a few must have survived the devastation.

"Do you see anything yet, Cinke? If not, then I would suggest employing a scanning device."

"All of the still-functional devices are going to be located in submerged areas of the base we'll need to swim through, aren't they?"

I'm doing just that, but do not except tangible, world-changing results. The base was utterly wrecked, after all.

"Provided your scans actually produce results, you'll not hear one complaint from me, even if our voyage was ultimately for naught."

Thor flashes a good-natured smirk at Cinke.

"And should I break my word, I'll... play the role of test subject in an experiment of your choosing as recompense."

This is meant to be a joke, but I'll interpret it as serious. she says, half-"jokingly".

Thor chuckles lightly at Cinke's response before offering her a smile.

"You know, even if there truly is nothing worth salvaging here, I won't denounce our voyage as a complete failure. After all... I had the pleasure of enjoying your company throughout this venture, which is something that I honestly find extremely difficult to complain about."

Well, I'd stil call it a failure if we find nothing. As agreeable as it was, I'd much rather find something. she says, lifting some rubbers away.

"Then let's hope Troa's psychotic tantrum didn't reduce everything here to piles of useless scrap and rubble. Although, I suppose pelting Galeem and Dharkon with this debris would catch them off-guard, at the very least."

Thor proceeds to clear away a rather large pile of rubble before checking to see what it might've possibly been hiding.

There's only a small, red crystal thing. She grabs it and carefully put in a small black bag, before moving along though the base.

Pleased that they managed to find something useful, Thor follows after Cinke as she continues through the base.

"Hopefully, that bloody fear-inducing maze was among those leveled by Troa's rampage. I'd rather avoid a potential repeat trip through that nightmare..."

I found piece of it actually, I'll be quick to replicate it. she says;

"So that's what the crystal we uncovered was. I doubt there's anything that Galeem and Dharkon legitimately fear, but... I've been mistaken before," Thor replies, keeping an eye out for potential salvage.

She shrugs, and keeps searching.

"Apologies in advance if this question happens to be... personal, Cinke, but what sort of foul, twisted illusion did the maze attempt to terrorize you with during our infiltration?" Thor inquires, clearing away a few nearby piles of debris before checking for useful salvage.

I don't even remember. she says, shrugging. We should be past the maze. she says, looking up and climbing the abandoned elevator shaft.

Thor proceeds to climb up the elevator shaft after Cinke.

"Very well, time for a change the subject: Loki and I have finally gotten to reading up on the mythology that Midgardians have created about the Nine Realms. Personally, I'm not a fan of how hotheaded, battle-happy and foolish their portrayal of me is. It reminds me far too much of the, as Father put it, 'vain, greedy, cruel boy' I used to be than I'm comfortable with... Not to mention the wildly different hair colors, among other things.

The Supervisor, Laughing Mad, is hit by Jeff's attack, but much like with Pinkamena's strikes, it seems to do very little. She takes to the air again, this time leaving a trail of stormclouds instead of the usual rainbow. She spirals through the sky, creating a vortex of dangerous stormclouds, then bucks it right in its heart, unleashing a deluge of lightning bolts, all within a matter of seconds.

Jeff is struck by a lightning bolt and falls down, unmoving.

LEGION, ever the scummy fighter, disappears with Phantom Force again.

RED's grimace turns into a full-on scowl. He proceeds to spew a gout of hellfire that spreads through the water without extinguishing, thawing out his piranha-spawn and billowing towards the swimmers.

The fish-monsters charge at all the Shepherds, trying to simply swarm them.

Mario gets knocked through the water by the hellfire, launching him forward a few more feet but preventing him from moving further forward.
