Dan!Akuma tries to parry, but fumbles it up and gets knocked back. He gets up, jumps, and attempts a Danjinkyaku (Akuma's diving kick, but can be followed up with more kicks, like the Dankukyaku). If he succeeds, he will go for two more kicks in rapid succession.

Ryu is caught in hitstun and launched by the third hit, leaving him prone.

Saikyo Reborn

Dan!Akuma taunts before running over to Ryu, jumping up, and going for a Misogi.

Dan!Akuma: "YEAH! Let's go!"

Ryu rolls away from the Misogi and attempts to crumple Dan!Akuma with a fully-charged Focus Attack.

Saikyo Reborn

The recovery from the Misogi allowed Ryu to land his focus attack, crumpling Dan!Akuma as intended.

Ryu executes a low sweep kick (down smash) to launch Akuma, and attempts to follow up with a jumping arm thrust (down air).

Saikyo Reborn

The attacks land, but Dan rolls out of them and fires three more Gogadoukens.

Ryu parries the Gogadoukens, then runs up and attempts a light-down-tilt to light-up-tilt to strong-up-tilt to forward-aerial to Shakunetsu Hadouken combo.

Saikyo Reborn

Dan!Akuma rolls out of the way of the initial barrage, but taunts, allowing him to be hit by the Shakunetsu Hadouken.

He gets knocked back, but quickly tries to whiff another Danjinkyaku, which would allow him to get close enough to do a couple of low kicks before an ax kick and a jump to three air Gogadoukens.

If he hits, however, he bounces off after the first hit and attempts to fire three Gogadoukens.

Ryu tries to spotdodge the feint and gets combo'd to the ground for it.

He uses a getup attack, then back-dashes a few meters away from Akuma.

Barbarich Desert, Oblivia

Simon Belmont is wandering the desert, when he sees something pass overhead that he believes is a shooting star.

Jam and Katre are nearby, with Jam poking at Katre with an electric staff of some kind. Katre does not react much but seems to dislike it.

Stop it.

Nah !

Jam prepares to poke again but then notices the shooting star and look up. Since she's in Sylvalum however, she hardly give it a thought and keep poking.

Adult!Arale approaches the Sisters with an over-the-top marching stride.

Then she notices them and stops right as she's about to collide directly with Jam.

Simon notices Vegeta - and the trophyfied Cabba he's carrying - and tries to run after the Saiyan, waving a hand over his head.

Hm ?

Vegeta stops and look down at Simon, annoyed.

WHAT ?!

Jam turns around just in time and look at Arale, kind of glancing at her and then smiling, pulling away her electro stick. Katre stares at her and Arale but then kind of dismiss them.

Hi !

"Hail and well met! I noticed the statue you're carrying and assumed it might be a victim of Galeem's attack. If such is the case, I can bring him back for you."

"Ho-yo!" Arale strikes a pose, holding up a hand in greeting...

while still almost nose-to-nose with Jam.

Hi ! Who are you ? I'm Jam ! she says, hardly making any effort to step back, mostly out of a lack of social clues rather than anything else.

Jam shakes her hand as well !

Good, then do it immediately. commands Vegeta, flying back and putting Cabba on the ground.

"You could stand to be less abrasive, Sir." Simon taps Cabba's statue with a finger.

Light runs down Cabba's form from toes to head, peeling away the metallic outside to reveal his normal body, which goes limp part-by-part as more and more of it is freed from the pose he was frozen in, until he now lies on the ground.

He blinks a few times before slowly, uneasily getting onto his feet - and immediately falling back down on his rear.

Then he looks up at Vegeta and bolts upright, standing tall and looking up to him. "Master Vegeta, Sir! ... What happened?"

He's referring to himself, of course. He's been in some kind of stasis for about a week now.

The 'shooting star' makes another pass through the desert sky.

"I'm Arale!"

Arale gives a cheeky smile, then blinks a few times and gives Jam a look of curiosity.

She starts poking at the Sister with one finger while glancing over at Katre.

Jam blinks and pokes back, very much amused. Katre folds her arms and does her best glare.

Whatcha lookin' at, four-eyes ?

Good work. says Vegeta, in a back-handed manner. He then look down at Cabba and fold his arms neatly !

Humph ! You're in this state because of some fool called Galeem ! Are you going to avenge yourself or are you going to lay down and let others do the work for you ?

Cabba clenches his fists. "No, Sir! I will defeat Galeem myself before you even have a chance to get a shot in at him!"

He turns Super Saiyan, then Super Saiyan 2. "And I'll do it with this! I've advanced one step closer to Blue since we last met, but I can assure you I'm continuing to train and get stronger!"

"Guys...?" Simon points up to the sky.

The 'shooting star' has gotten lower and lower to the ground as the conversation has gone on, every time it flew over the area, and now it's visible as a Saiyan pod.

Arale makes eye contact with Katre and stands up from the poking exchange.

"Ho-yo?"

She gives Katre another cheeky smile.

So, are you a sister from another world ? Do you have siblings ? How strong are you ? Nice glasses ! You've got a weird hair color ! Nice watch !

God, are you always that active ?

Haha, yeah !

I miss my cell.

Ha ! You've mastered the second form ! but you'll need to step into the domain of the gods if you want to-What ? says Vegeta, interrupted.

He glances at the pod and stays unimpressed.

Whatever, Saiyans are almost common here... this isn't even worth noticing !

Arale giggles.

"I don't have any sisters! I'm an android! Er... gynoid."

She strikes a fabulous pose for no reason.

"I guess I'm, like, really strong or something? Too strong, maybe? Oh, and thanks! The watch is how I switch between tiny and big bodies."

Cabba nods. "Yes!"

"I was more concerned with the fact that it's headed right for us."

"Hm?"

The pod comes careening towards Cabba... who catches it with one hand, sliding backwards along the ground as he pushes it to a stop. It then falls down, and now that it's not moving, Vegeta may be able to see its lone occupant through the small red window.

Another Saiyan, who looks like a smaller, softer-faced Vegeta.◊ He's still braced for impact despite the stop, and it seems to take him a second to realize he didn't make a fatal collision with anyone.

Tiny and big ? You can shrink to be super small ? she asks, confused. Please demonstrate ! she says, chanting the words, much to Katre's annoyance.

Vegeta look on, wholly unfazed, and frowns when he spots his brother, eyeing him with surprise.

Of all places...

Arale twists a knob on the watch and suddenly turns into her child form, before twisting it back and turning back into an adult.

"See? Like that! It's actually two separate bodies but when I switch to one the other is swap-teleported into storage super-fast and my mind jumps into the new one right away!"

Simon straightens his back, one hand on his hip, and then takes his leave.

"You know him?" Cabba asks, reverting to base form as the pod slowly opens.

Tarble runs out and tries to give Vegeta a hug. "Big brother!"

This exclamation prompts Cabba to jump back a good 10 feet with a hilarious flabbergasted expression on his face.

So, you become a child, big deal.

AMAZING ! WHOAH ! yells Jam, visibly very happy with the demonstration.

Vegeta is stunned as well and, once past the surprise, kind of step back.

T-tarble ! How dare you insult me in such a manner !

Dan!Akuma: "How about this?"

Dan charges up a ball of white and gray energy, which grows to the size of a real Hadouken...
