◊ appears on the ground underneath Keeby.
"Whew, okay, kinda forgot what using my 4th-D Slip felt like.", he says with a snicker, then looks up.
"Yo!"

Keeby descends to Ninten's level. "Hop aboard!"
If Ninten gets behind Keeby, the Star Dragoon's cosmic trail will pick him up and carry him along.
"He's gearing up for war."
Thor simply pulls out a rather... sizable bag of gold from within his jacket. Seems he came prepared for the occasion.
"Within this bag, you'll find more than enough Asgardian gold to purchase the legendary forges of Nidavellir. Return Lucas to us, alive and unharmed, and it's all yours."
He opens the bag, revealing the aforementioned large supply of gold to the bandits.
Loki just waits to see how Tahn and his minions respond to the offer.

"Wait, on that thing?"
He does get behind Keeby, and is understandably surprised and a little shaken when the Star Dragoon takes off with him floating behind it.
That shakiness immediately makes way for excitement though, as Ninten starts to laugh, seemingly getting a kick out of flying like this.
"Check it.", is all Tahn says to the bandit not holding the machine, who immediately does so. His lack of hesitation to obey reminds the three that, despite how smooth things seem to be going, Ken Tahn is likely not someone to be messed with.
The bandit looks the gold over.
"Looks real to me."
"How much is in it?"
"Um... I dunno. It's a big bag, but Asgardian gold probably differs in worth from dollars."
"It sounds much more expensive, that's for sure. However, where would I even be able to exchange gold from a foreign country for dollars?"
"Um..."
"In all honesty, I feel like trying to trade this for dollars might get me some unwanted confusion and attention. I want the money in dollars so that it's easy for us to intergrate somewhere else."
"Are you serious!? What kind of thief says no to gold!?", Kumatora can't help but say out loud. She immediately regrets it though, when Tahn's voice turns more sinister.
"If you're going to get snappy, I don't really feel like conversing with you much longer. Perhaps it's better for me to-"
"20 million dollars!", Claus suddenly blurts out as a last ditch effort. The two bandits are outright startled, and even Tahn, for a moment, sounds like he needs a little bit to let that sink in.
"Twen-Twenty million dollars!?", he asks, sounding as shocked as he and his bandits feel. Kumatora and Duster turn to Claus.
"Why'd you say that!?"
"I-I panicked! A-and I'm sure we can get that together somehow! Maybe Thor's gold is worth that much already, then we'd only have to exchange it ourselves!"
There's some eerie silence on Tahn's side. Eventually though, he speaks up again.
"... give me a moment, I'll be right back."
The communication then ends. The two bandits look confused, and one turns to the group.
"This, um, wasn't discussed with us, but don't worry. There's no way he'd let that much money slide. He'll be back soon."
Claus just looks worried, praying that he didn't mess up.
Lucas looks surprised when two bandits enter the room and grab the chair, with him in it, and start dragging it along.
"W-where are we going?"
"To the main room. The boss wants you to hear something."
They drag him in there and put him down near Tahn, who ties a cloth around Lucas' mouth.
"Sorry, but I don't want them to be able to hear you. It's only temporary."
Lucas looks confused, not knowing what's happening, but can't really do anything to stop it.

They're at Meta Knight and Psycho!Ness in no time.
"Welcome back."
Daroach almost makes his own dramatic outburst until Claus makes one, prompting the mouse to simmer down.
"He's gearing up for war."
Ninten hops off, then looks at Psycho!Ness' phone.
"How'd this happen?", he asks, slightly smirking in amusement, which definitely does not amuse Psycho!Ness.
"Well, while I was risking my life like a hero instead of sitting inside the base playing videogames like a slob, I tried to call for backup when a new enemy arrived, but that enemy destroyed my phone before I could."
"Tsh, the only reason you're so pissy about me playing videogames is because you suck at them."
"Yeah, 'cause I actually train and hone my skills rather than waste my time behind a screen all day long."
"Says the guy who's always playing when I'm not."
"Are you trying to make this a fight, you scrawny fashion disaster?", Psycho!Ness glares.
"The heck did you call me, you pomptous popstar!?", Ninten glares back. Sparks start flying between the two. Literally, as their PSI manifests a little.

Keeby dismounts from the Star Dragoon. "Settle down now. There's time to bicker when we're back at the base and everything's squared away."
"The red Kirby... if he were here, he could fix the phone easily."

The two just turn away from each other, neither willing to apologize, but still willing to stop fighting.
"I'll just warp us inside then.", Ninten says. As he gathers PSI, he looks at Meta Knight and smiles.
"Good to see you back to normal, dude."
He then warps the small group into the base, in front of the hallway once more.
"Gotta go through there, Meta Knight.", he says. "Just in case there's still some Narktus stuff in you that could tell him our location."

"Well, I assure you, this gold is extremely valuable on every world, not just Asgard. One could easily afford an early retirement and still have a vast amount of wealth left over," Thor says. "It should more than cover exactly what Claus proposes."
"Your employer seems awfully... peculiar, if his initial reaction to being offered valuable gold is to turn it down," Loki adds. "You would think that a self-proclaimed criminal mastermind would recognize the deal of a lifetime..."

"I fear I may never truly be back to normal until I have my cape and sword back from that fiend." Meta Knight proceeds along.

Jack Frost is wandering in the city, skipping happily.
"Woah! This Place is huge! I wonder how many people are in this Place now! Hee-ho!"
The ice demon stops in his tracks when he notices patrolling group.
"Ho? Who are those guys?" Jack Frost mumbles and decides slowly follow them.
"I'm sure we'll get your stuff back eventually.", Ninten says. "Maybe you can use a replacement sword in the meantime? It probably won't feel the same, but it's better than nothing, right?"
Once Lucas is gagged and seated, Tahn turns around, grinning under his hood.
"Now let's see what'll happen next..."
"Well, we're gonna have to see what the boss says.", one of the bandits says. "He has a keen eye for opportunity, so we trust him."
"As long as he shares the money with us when we get it.", the other adds. The radio then makes staticy noise once more, and soon enough Tahn's voice return.
"Sorry about the sudden break, but I had to get something done. So you offer twenty million, huh?"
"Yeah...", Claus says, unsure where this is going. Tahn laughs.
"Add ten to that."
Claus looks reasonably confused.
"You want... twenty million and ten dollars?"
"What? No, no, I-"
His voice becomes a bit more muffled as he seems to be talking to someone behind him.
"What's the word I'm looking for here?"
"Multiply?"
"Right, that!"
His voice becomes clearer.
"Multiply it by ten."
"What!? Two hundred million!?", Duster asks, completely taken aback, just like Claus and Kumatora.
"Exactly."
The two bandits near the group look just as surprised. They clearly weren't expecting Tahn to ask this much as a counteroffer.

That's it. That's his limit.
Daroach emerges from hiding with a dramatic flourish. "I can pay that!" he declares through clenched teeth.

Morgan turns her head, and so does Kellam, and they notice Jack Frost. Morgan smiles though, seemingly finding him adorable. The older warriors are a bit more suspicious though, somewhat slowly walking forward. They grow even more suspicious when Ike appears, though Xander appears to recognize him a little since he might have been walking around near Corrin.

"Ah! They noticed me!" Jack Frost says. He looks worried, but calms down when Morgan compliments him.

He then turns around and notices Ike. He jumps in suprise.

"Okay! Nice to meet ya! My name is Jack Frost, the ice demon! Hee-ho!" The demon says happily to the people.

"Ice, huh?" Ike looks at his own sword, the Ragnell, which has had some semblance of fire effects.

"Yikes, that is a big sword. I don't want to get hit by that." Jack Frost comments. He looks at Xander and Grego.
"A Shift? You guys are doing a Shift?" Jack Frost asks the two.
Then Jack Frost jumps in suprise yet again when he hears Kellam.
"Waah! When did you get here!?" The demon says to Kellam.
"Yeah, yeah, but we can't contact Botar directly. Mind sending him over?"
If Botar appears, Keeby will promptly lead him over to Meta Knight and Psycho!Ness.
Floating City
Daroach is in hiding nearby, listening in on the conversation.
I bet that horse would be really damn excited to hear what I'm hearing right now... we should've established a way of remote communications before I ran off.
