Unfortunately, the scans will indicate that it doesn't. It's brand new, and carefully crafted. Its outer armor, while not completely invincible like that of its predecessor, is still incredibly tough to get through.

What's most worrying though, is that her scanners will pick up on PSI. That mech has psychic abilities!

"Ha! You always says I nag and taunt too much, but all you do is complain and complain!", Greyface laughs at Nyriss.

The R7039-X swiftly moves backward and to the left, much faster than a robot should be, to avoid the laser, then raises its hand to cast PSI Magnet, absorbing the flames sent by dr Strange.

Then, stepping forward, it brings both its arms back, like a warrior about to power up, and unleashes a strange, dark blue light at Ninten, Psycho!Ness, Lucas and Claus for just a moment.

None of them know what that did, until Psycho!Ness notices that his energy scythe disappears immediately, leaving just a normal bat.

"Guys! He disabled our PSI!", he calls out to others, upon which Ninten and Lucas become rightfully scared, as neither of them has any other way of defending themselves. At least Psycho!Ness has the option of his transformation to get a sword, and Claus has enhanced physical strength, but Lucas and Ninten don't have anything like that. A stick or bat isn't going to do much against a robot.

It's gonna be difficult to accept or admit, but Greyface actually created an incredibly potent and dangerous machine. And with about half the group Diamondized and Alt.Demo seemingly out cold, as he hadn't expected the building to collapse and thus hadn't defended himself in any way, this means that they could be in serious trouble.

Despite the odds, both Psycho!Ness and Claus still appear ready to fight, even if the former doesn't seem to be planning on transforming, gripping his bat tightly instead.

You obviously can't fight. If you desire to leave, I can make a portal for you. says Strange to Lucas and Psycho!Ness, after witnessing the robot's rise. Quite aware that it has powers on its own, he goes for pure defense, creating several floating disks shields and laying them around himself, though they start to reach other people's positions as well.

If you do want to stay, please, stay close to me.

Well, that was a good training !

Yeah, though... hm... could you show me little tricks about movement ? To get faster ?

Certainly ! Here, for an instance and as a tease. Sometimes, when I jump, I click my heels together, it allows me to reach the ground just a bit faster. In some cases, the enemy's sword is on my former position so I have the occasion to strike while he's not ready.

Could I try it while going home ?

Morgan begins, and Samsara laughs a little, folding her arms and following the red-head back to the building.

Nyriss simply flashes a dangerous grin.

"Let's see if you're still laughing after I pull you outta that tin can and gut you like the squealing little pig you are!"

She begins charging both her laser cannon and an Arcane Beam.

Meanwhile, a truly massive bolt of lightning shoots forth towards the R7039-X, courtesy of a newly-arrived Thor◊, who touches down near the group.

"I'm not running! But we should probably get Lucas and Ninten out of here!", Psycho!Ness says.

"Yeah, the both of you, let that man help you escape!", Claus says to Lucas and Ninten, who look at Dr Strange, then nod.

R7039-X immediately starts sliding over towards Nyriss, its feet getting wheels under them.

"You won't be getting the chance for that, Nyriss! I will-"

Cue the bolt of lightning hitting the robot, making it flinch and bringing it to a halt. It turns around to look at Thor.

"Well, crap.", Greyface mutters, knowing that Thor will be trouble.

The four kids, meanwhile, all look happy to see Thor.

"Thor! You're just in time! We can't use our PSI, he turned some people into statues, and someone else got buried under a building!", Claus says.

He then suddenly gets blasted in the side with what appeared to be PK Beam and sent flying into a building, courtesy of Greyface.

"That's what you get for talking during a battle!"

"Claus!", Lucas calls out in shock, immediately running over to him, away from Dr Strange.

The thunder god. Good, then I no longer need to focus on-

When the redhead get struck, Strange freezes and then blasts off towards him, floating away from the fight to focus on healing. He creates a complex hex-looking structure and hold it up to the kid, attempting to use it to slowly heal him. While clearly surprised, he's still composed, aware that panicking would do no good.

I have marked a few places. Once you're good to go, you'll be somewhere safe.

Rolling her eyes at Greyface's blatant hypocrisy, Nyriss begins lining up a good shot while charging her attacks.

"You're hardly in a position to make that criticism, brat!"

Thor rockets straight into the air, takes Mjolnir in both hands, and makes a beeline straight for R7039-X before attempting to bring the hammer down hard on the robot's head, putting all of his weight behind the blow.

Claus slowly tries to get back up as he's getting healed.

"T-thanks, but I'm tougher than I look. W-we gotta get Lucas and Ninten to safety first."

When Lucas gets to Dr Strange and Claus, he looks grateful to the former.

Greyface, meanwhile, hears Thor, looks up, and immediately panics, having R7039-X dive to the side as fast as he can to avoid having to take that attack. While he succeeds in dodging, the mere fact that he did so means that R7039-X wouldn't have been able to take that attack without being either destroyed or at least heavily damaged.

Which means they may have an idea on about how much that robot's armor can take.

He quickly turns to face the group once more and launches a strange, orange-colored circle-like PSI attack at Ninten, hitting him. He starts to become unsteady on his feet for a moment, then suddenly charges towards Nyriss while grasping his bat, seemingly about to try to attack her.

Which he is, as he's been inflicted with Brainshock, causing him to feel strange and become unable to tell friend from foe.

Greyface then follows this up by emitting a glorious light from R7039-X for a few seconds, attempting to use PK Flash on the group. The attack, if successful, can either instantly kill some enemies, make them cry, feel strange, or become temporarily paralyzed.

Very well. You should get in the portal. he says, opening the portal to... a street in NLA. I'll pick you up when that enemy is done for, which should be soon since the thunder god is there.

PK Flash occurs but Strange puts his hand forward and use his magic to somewhat grab the portion of the attack aimed at them, putting forth a shield to contain it in the palms of his hands, though he's struggling heavily.

I'll be fine ! Go !

Regardless of success, the PK Flash soon blows up, causing Strange to get paralyzed and collapse, his body moving in erratic directions as the overwhelming power of PK Flash affects him.

"Dammit, Merlin, you should've just summoned a big-ass demon hand to crush the damn bot..."

Spreading her wings and taking flight once more to both stay out of the brainwashed Ninten's reach and avoid Strange's PK Flash-induced fate, Nyriss launches both her charged laser shot and her Arcane Beam at the R7039-X's head.

Thor shields his eyes from the PK Flash in the nick of time, then spins Mjolnir rapidly enough to whip up a huge whirlwind before sending it towards Greyface's bot.

Lucas and Claus are taken aback when Dr Strange gets paralyzed, and Lucas, instead of running, stands by him and points at him with his hands, attempting to use healing PSI despite his PSI having been blocked.

"C'mon! Work! I can't leave you here like this!", he says, desperately continuing to try to help Dr Strange.

Claus decides to help too, standing in front of Dr Strange and being about to charge for R7039-X, as he can still use his strength to try to get in its way. However, with Ninten being unable to reach Nyriss, he's set his sights on the three of them instead, attacking Claus with his bat. Claus... well, he easily grabs his bat mid-attack, then grabs Ninten's wrist with his other hand.

"Ninten! Snap out of it! It's me, Claus!", he calls out to him, hoping to have him turn back to normal. If that doesn't work, he thinks to himself, he has to at least keep him away from Lucas and Dr Strange.

Luckily, Ninten does seem to calm down a little, blinking and shaking his head.

"I... uh... wha?"

R7039-X plants its feet into the ground to try to remain standing in Thor's whirlwind. However, this makes him the perfect target for Nyriss' attack. It gets hit, and it harshly falls over, its head looking somewhat damaged now.

Psycho!Ness, finally deciding to attack seriously as he realizes he can no longer justify not trying to fight Greyface, switches his bat for his yo-yo's and starts to hurl them at the head of the robot, attempting to slightly spread out the damaged area, as to weaken the area around the damaged area and make it easier to damage too.

Unfortunately, after a hit or three, the robot gets back up and grabs the yo-yo's in one hand, trapping Psycho!Ness in place, as the strings are stuck around his fingers.

"Well, looks like you finally admit to the truth too. The truth that you'd rather see me gone too.", Greyface says.

"Don't make it about that! I'm trying to stop you from hurting people!"

"Like you hurt me?"

"Pokey, I swear to-"

"Just stop talking and fight, Nesley!"

Psycho!Ness immediately freezes up, his face completely red from embarrassment. He starts waving his arms around angrily as best as he can while he's still stuck.

"YOU!!!", he screams, loudly enough to grab the attention of the other boys too. "You swore an oath OF SECRECY!!!"

"Yeah, to the Ness I actually grew up with.", Greyface laughs, but is then surprised when he feels Psycho!Ness starting to try to pull on the yo-yo's as if he actually thinks he can overpower the robot, glaring darkly.

"YOU! ARE! GONNA! GET IT, POKEY!!!"

There's a brief lull and then Dr Strange right back up and launch some spells at the robots, attempting to use his surprising recovery to surprise Greyface.

That power is dangerous, indeed. But my spell kicked in and allowed me to recover quickly. And since you wasted the extra time attacking children...

Strange glares at the robots and nods to his premature allies, though he's smart enough not to take his eyes off the robot.

"...The hell?"

Nyriss blinks in confusion at Psycho!Ness's outburst, or rather the cause of it, before shaking her head and firing her cable at R7039-X's legs, hoping to entangle and trip it up while it was otherwise preoccupied with Psycho!Ness.

Thor, after mentally deciding that the origin of such an Embarrassing First Name was a story best saved for another time, full-on sprints towards R7039-X, leaps at it, and attempts to whack the mech right in the face with a sparking Mjolnir.

Ammy looks back at him. "... Really. Fine, then."

The wolf-gods reluctantly turn away, then vanish into thin air.

Vague Oblivia

A turquoise chunk of beryl, perfectly cut and emanating a mysterious glow, lies half-buried in the sands.

Several beings currently stand surrounding it.

A generic red wyvern-type beast...

A dragon with two massive horns and a rock-hard hide...

A blue wyvern with a finned crest and tail...◊

A quadruped that is best described as a skinned reptile-weasel-dog...◊

And the only one there that isn't big enough to throw a fully-grown human halfway across a city, an anthropomorphic goat wearing a green trademark magician's robe and pointy hat,◊ who stands there with his legs trembling, looking absolutely terrified.

Awkeff, who somehow got so lost from Viserys that she is in Oblivia, nowhere near the shore they started on, is also there, approaching the scene. So much for finding Viserys. Looks like it's time for me to be a hero again.

   YOUR FUCKING FRIEND CRIED FOR MERCY LIKE A COWARDLY LITTLE BITCH AND SO WILL YOU !    laughs Ares, raising a flaming sword as his cape flares up like a bat's wing.    I'lL RIP YOUR HEAD OFF !   

R7039-X gets struck by Dr Strange's surprise attack, letting go of Psycho!Ness' yo-yo's and getting its legs trapped by Nyriss' cable and then hit in the face with Mjolnir, causing it to trip and its face to show more cracks. Lucas looks a little surprised at Dr Strange as well, then relieved that he's fine.

"Damn this!", Greyface angrily shouts as he forces the robot to get back up, even if its legs are still trapped. R7039-X's hand starts to crackle with multi-colored energy, and Psycho!Ness snaps out of his rage, looking fearful.

"Wait, Pokey, that's..."

"You recognize this, Ness!? I bet you do! It's PK Rockin'! I didn't figure out how to replicate PK Love, but I did manage to get your's and Giygas' special little technique!"

Psycho!Ness immediately raises his hands waringly.

"Pokey, don't use that! PK Rockin' is out of this world, and I mean that in a bad way! There's a reason only me and Giygas can use it!"

"Am I supposed to be scared? This is just an attack like any other."

"No, it's not!"

"Let's put it to the test then!"

R7039-X slams its hand down on the ground, sending a huge wave of PK Rockin' Ω over the battlefield. However, during its path, it starts to crackle and expands more and more, becoming less of a wave headed in one direction and more of an extremely volatile mass of destructive energy. Greyface realizes that he may have made a mistake.

"W-what the-"

"Everybody, get aw-"

As Psycho!Ness tries to call out to everyone to get to safety, the PK Rockin' comes together and explodes intensely, breaking apart the entire battlefield and even breaking through a part of the island itself, sending debris falling down into the void below. The Diamondized statues and Alt.Demo are amongst the things that start to fall down. Luckily though, Alt.Demo wakes up and, realizing they're falling, grabs the statues with his chains, then sends another one at the mainland to attach itself to its side, letting him hang off of the edge with the statues, all of them saved from falling to their dooms.

As the attack targets the whole battlefield, everyone'll have to do their best to avoid getting hit. The four boys are all engulfed in the attack, though none of them fell down, which means they all ended up somewhere in the ruins of the city once the attack is gone.

R7039-X seems to have disappeared as well, either having falled off, or being buried somewhere under debris as well.

Vague Oblivia

A neanderthal is walking around, sweating like nobody's business.

"Hrm. I hate the heat..."

He notices the gathering of monster from a distance, and, er, tries to keep it. He discards his cloak and inspects.

Strange unite all the earlier shields to defend himself. He does fall down but he creates a portal below to get back to the island, though the shield is shattered and he has quite a few wounds.

A bit groggy, he wipes himself off and attempts to see if he can find the children with his magical power, using a life detecting spell that'll slither over to the closest hidden lifeform. He does create a shield with his right hand, prepared to fight.

Miriel hears the sound of the debris hitting the ground all the way from NLA and raises her head, temporarily forgetting about her current scientific discovery.

Emmeryn, who's also in her room, takes her eyes off the book she's reading;

What was... that ?

A massive object impacted the surface of this world. I have very limited data on such events but by my account, we should've all been eradicated by the shockwave. Such a quick death is preferrable to the other options, such as slow death to the catastrophic changes in the air.

That's... pretty bad...

Doppio witnesses the crash from afar and yells, running back to NLA after only recently leaving the city.

Thanos is observing the effects of the battle from his spaceship, holding a glowing blue cube in his hand, it's nearly half-full, nearly.

   Impressive.   

Thankfully for the neanderthal, none of the monsters (or Awkeff) notice him. The four big and nasty ones are all focused on each other.

"Umm..."

They all stop and look at the goat-boy, who just made a noise.

"Oh no."

Awkeff suddenly runs in front of him, brandishing her Nightingale Blade.

As he watches, he considers his options.

"Hm. On the one hand, dragons are outside my area of expertise. On the other hand, they could make a meal for a while. Hrm. My main mission is over anyways, Carpenson and Pescin have escaped..."

He picks up his boney scythe and tries to advance as stealthily as he can through the sands.

Before either of them can react, Nyriss and Thor are both launched into a couple of nearby buildings by the PK Rockin'. A moment or two after the dust has settled, they emerge from the rubble.

"Argh... what the actual fuck was that?"

Nyriss, once she's had a moment to collect her bearings and recover, takes a moment to scan the area with her cybernetic eye in case Greyface was still around before sending a cable to Alt Demo in order to pull him and the statues back up to safety.

"Damn... What kind of machine can wield that sort of power? Furthermore, where the Hel is Stark when one needs him?"

Thor, meanwhile, begins looking around for the four boys.

Awkeff looks around and notices the neanderthal. She makes a hurried beckoning gesture to him.

The Odogaron howls and lunges as Odogaron are wont to do, pinning Awkeff down while Rathalos and Legiana take flight, and Diablos burrows underground.

A sigh. Elves may be arrogant pricks, but they're just as oppressed as everyone else. And the goat boy... beastmen exist, apparently.

He runs in, analyzing what he presumes to be the enemy combatants, looking for weak points.

The Odogaron gets a small stone thrown at it.

Odogaron turns and scowls at him, allowing Awkeff to escape the pin.

Then Rathalos swoops down on the neanderthal, talons splayed open...

"Joor... Zah FRUL!" Awkeff shouts a Dragonrend at the Rathalos.

Unfortunately, the hard lesson to be learned is that Dragonrend works on the dragons of Mundus because of their immortal souls, and Rathalos, which is from a universe where dragons are just wild animals, has an ordinary soul. It flinches at the wave of sound, giving the neanderthal a clear shot at its feet, but it is not forced to land.

Diablos starts burrowing towards the goat.

The scan won't immediately show any results. Alt.Demo, meanwhile, decides to grab onto the cable. Normally he'd be much less trusting, but he doesn't have much choice right now.

The spell will lead him to a pile of debris under which Ninten is buried, and since the spell responded to him, it means he's still alive. Another pile closeby is pushed open by Claus, who has the physical strength to free himself. He looks pretty wounded though, and coughs.

"Ow... is... is everyone okay?", he weakly mutters.

Lucas, while alive, is about to pass out, buried beneath some rubble. He hears the rocks being pushed away from above though. Looking up weakly, he sees someone looking down at him. A person with golden hair, extending his hand towards Lucas.

Lucas doesn't know who this person is. But he can't help but reach out to him, grabbing his hand and being pulled out before he passes out.

Psycho!Ness opens his eyes, finding himself in a somewhat wide hole of which the exit is blocked off by debris. He tries to get up, feeling pain everywhere.

As he tries though, he suddenly gets grabbed by something cold and hard. He can barely turn his head and realize, in fear, that it's the now badly damaged R7039-X that's grabbing him.

"This is it, Ness. I win! I finally win! I don't care if this world will bring you back or not, today, today I am the winner!", Greyface darkly says as he slams Psycho!Ness to the ground, pinning him there with the hand that held him, while raising the other.

"P-Pokey, don't..."

"Save it, Ness.", Greyface snarls. "You took advantage of the state I was in. You wouldn't have saved me if it weren't for Niko's sake. You... you'd have let the real me die for some safer... other... not truly me!"

He pins Psycho!Ness down a little harder, making him yelp in pain.

"And now you're going to pay! For lying to me! For playing me! For making me think people actually liked me! For making me spend time with those fools! For... for..."

"Well, maybe you were a jerk in the past, but right now you're not.", Ninten said, smiling his trademark silly smile. "That makes you alright with me."

"... for..."

"I suppose I can look past the things that happened. You're not the same person who'd harm me and Lucas right now. I won't guarantee anything, but I can try to be your friend.", Claus said, showing him a friendly smirk.

"..."

A Whisper of Light

"Pokey... I just... you don't hate me, right?", Psycho!Ness asked, uncertain and worried.

"What'd I hate you for?"

"For... well, this. The situation you're in."

"That wasn't your fault. I attacked that machine."

"But I could've tried to stop you! Instead, I let you go ahead because... because I thought you'd get upset and leave if I didn't let you have some fun every now and then."

"Ness."

Greyface puts his hand on his shoulder and smiles.

"You're my best friend... the only one I've ever had. The only one who ever really liked me..."

"But... that wasn't me. That was the other-"

"The two of you were part of the same person. Of Ness. That counts, at least for me. ... You may have never met me in person until we were both here, but I can feel that you know me as if you did grow up alongside me. I don't hate you."

"..."

Psycho!Ness slightly smiles.

"... thanks..."

Psycho!Ness slowly opens one eye, confused as he hadn't felt the attack yet. He sees that R7039-X is still in the same position, its arm not having moved, and Greyface has gone silent.

"..."

Ness... please, don't think of me and the Pokey I'll turn back into as the same one...

Those final words he said in his altered state ring in Greyface's mind. His eyes become a little teary.

"... P... Pokey?", Psycho!Ness eventually asks, breaking the silence.

"..."

R7039-X... lowers its arm.

It then suddenly jumps up high, still holding Psycho!Ness, and breaks through the debris blocking their path.

Claus quickly turns to see the robot land near everyone, where it drops Psycho!Ness onto the ground, to his visible confusion.

"Ness!", Greyface calls out, his tone bitter, but also... a little choked up. Psycho!Ness sits upright, looking at the robot.

"... This... don't think this is over. You may have won this time, but... I'll be..."

Greyface stops talking, and suddenly the R7039-X leaps off of the Floating City, crashing down on the mainland below, where it proceeds to slide away on its wheels.

Psycho!Ness is left staring. Did Greyface...?

He takes his chance and leaps at the feet, attempting to see if it has any tendons to cut with his scythe. Regardless of whether or not his attack is successful his next immediate move is to try to get out of the way of the inevitable counter.
