”These spirits are basically just Heroic Spirits which are spirits of heroes, antiheroes, and villains who achieved great deeds in life, having become objects of worship after their deaths… So they are pretty powerful and are basically like more varied, superpowered Einherjars. He said, answering only Lucina because it was less troublesome for him to do so and was easiest person to talk with at the moment.

WELLLLLL ! First of all, there's a lot of ways to be evil ! Sometimes, you're evil because you're forced to ! Sometimes, you're evil because of your nobles yet extreeeme intentions, sometimes... well sometimes, you just dislike a whole bunch of people and you want them to die painfully ! I could go on but the thing is that not all villains decided to simply kick a kitten and rule the world !
As some philosopher said once : "everyone believe that they are the hero of their own story". He wasn't so witty when I brought him to the pyre but you get his point ! Or do I need to spell it out more clearly ? he says.

if you really want to observe evil, here's a tip : The world isn't black and white ! It's not simply "good vs evil" ! You'll see good that looks like evil and vice-versa !
What about the Plegian war ? It was a pretty clear cut conflict between good and evil !

Right, right, kid's here. Well, if it involve harming innocent or good people ! Or burning their lands ! stealing their belongings ! betraying their trust ! plotting in their backs ! Humiliating them ! Threatening them ! As long as it directly harm somebody or cause destruction, it's evil !
And it can be evil even when used on other evil people ! But most of the time, it's fine to slaughter an army as long as everyone in it is faceless. You draw your sword against ONE pretty lady and everyone's on you !
