There is an explosion on the ground below, as a large white mecha with red and blue decals erupts from the crust of Planet Mira and rises up to the fight. From within this machine, the Shining Gundam, Domon's voice says: "Hope you don't mind me bringing out the big guns, O Majestic Light."

Morpho Knight reflects Radiant!Herald's beams off his swords at Shining Gundam, which backhands the beams back at Morpho Knight, scorching him.

"I am ZEUS ! The GOD of the GODS !" he declares with as much drama as he can, answering her questions about his identity and his statut.

"Indeed, I was confronted by a mortal who wished to slay my pantheon, he used some magic to bring me and him in this place, where our powers would be closer. But even then, the difference between my power and his was as wide as the gap between the peak of Olympus and the lowest pit of Tartarus, he was slain with supreme ease !"

Sweeping their hand horizontally in front of them, Radiant!Herald created several balls of light and sent them flying, homing in on the mech and exploding on impact.

The blasts impact against the Shining Gundam, which emerges from the explosions with some hull damage and burn marks, but nothing too serious. It then unloads all its Vulcan machine guns on Radiant!Herald (I think there are four guns on the Gundam) simultaneously. Domon prepares to have to lead the shots if Herald tries evasion.

Morpho Knight drags his twin swords up the Shining Gundam's back, staggering Domon. The Gundam Fighter is undeterred, and continues shooting at Herald.

Megan's eyes went wide at the sight of the Shining Gundam. It seemed a fairly impressive machine, even before it began attacking. She had not seen something of its kind before.

So, there are gods in other realms... Interesting. Perhaps it would be in my best interest to not pick a fight just yet, she thought, curious of who she might actually be able to match in a fight. "You gave me your name, so it's only fair that I give you mine, Zeus. Megan, the Dragon-blooded, and hunter of dragons. Well met," she said, nodding respectfully, even despite the air of arrogance that this deity gave off. He's probably only arrogant because he knows he can be. With that kind of power... hmmm... Her mind flashed between the Gundam, Zeus, NLA, and the Tyrant Dragon... This could make for a very interesting few months indeed.

"You hunt dragons ? Interesting." he says. "Were you born that way, or did you receive such a boost for your own purposes ?"

He seems bothered by his questions, as if he's used to nigh-omniscience and not knowing anything about his interlocutor bothers him.

Bringing up their reflecting light-shield once again, Radiant!Herald attempted to block the barrage and indeed managed to nullify the most of it before the shield broke, leading them to take the rest head-on. Wounded but undeterred, they called down a beam of light from directly above the mech.

The Shining Gundam's head explodes. Luckily for Domon, the cockpit is in the chest, but because of the rules of the Gundam Fight, Shining Gundam shuts down and slowly descends to the ground.

Morpho Knight watches the descent for a bit, then turns his attention back to Herald, charging in for his uppercut-into-rapid-slashes combo. The combo is deadlier thanks to the dual swords.

"It's a path I chose for myself. The very dragon that caused me seek this path out is here — I traveled through some kind of rift clinging to its tail. I've sworn to hunt to the ends of time itself, if need be. But, I have some time to spare, as it stands currently," she stated, intently observing the destruction of the Shining Gundam's head. She thought she heard heavy wingbeats in the distance, but she couldn't be sure. She activated her Dragonsenses, focusing in on sound, just to be sure, but she heard nothing further.

Radiant!Herald lets themselves get pulled into the combo, parrying everything with equal speed. However, a few hits did manage to connect, making deep cuts. By the end of it, Radiant!Herald had several deep cuts across their torso, and their left arm was practically unusable. That, however, did not stop them from unleashing a blast of searing light from point-blank.

"That is quite the determination, but then again, mortals are admirably focused on their objective. I can commend you for this."

He look at the fight for a while, seemingly judging the fighters.

"If the actual deity comes out, I might need to fight."

Morpho Knight takes the blast to the face and is sent reeling backwards, but he recovers and presses his assault, going for an advancing series of vertical, horizontal, and diagonal spin slashes.

Once again, Radiant!Herald parried, clashing with the slashes. This time, however, they were more graceful, managing to not receive even a scratch from the attack. However, they failed to counterattack, taking a second to gather their breath - They were clearly getting worn out.

Morpho Knight does something his character was always supposed to do but has never done until now. He stops attacking to let Radiant!Herald catch their breath. "Put up the best effort you can, moth. I want to see the absolute limit of your power and skill."

Megan manages to hear the words, "absolute", and, "limit", from where she stands.

"Say, do you figure I should stand a few mountains over, Zeus? I'm not too keen on getting caught in the crossfire just yet."

She did a quick mental check of which potions she had on her at the moment — one for healing, one for mana, and then two more. The first was a shielding potion — bitter and disgusting, but a life-saving potion at times. The other was something special — a Potion of Full Transformation (Blood Wyvern). She didn't want to have to use any of those unless she absolutely had to, however.

"Hmph, as long as you stand with me, you shall be protected from the collateral of this scrap."

Nodding, Radiant!Herald began gathering light in his still-working hand, charging an attack.

"...DAWN WILL BREAK..."

Thrusting their hand forward, they unleashed a massive, prolonged blast of searing light at Morpho, keeping it up for several seconds before finally, their assault stopped and Radiant!Herald collapsed, falling to the ground. Behind Morpho, the mountain had received a massive hole that was quickly repaired by forces unknown.

"AND BATHE THE WORLD IN BRILLIANT FLAMES." Morpho Knight responds to the incoming blast by enlarging both his swords into Ultra Swords and firing his own sustained wave of fire at Herald. The collision of the blasts creates a gigantic fireball resembling the sun. True to Zeus's word, it engulfs both him and Megan, and they only feel a slight warming sensation without actually being harmed.

Morpho Knight is still there when the light fades. Both his swords are gone, and his helmet is cracked, but he's still floating in the air.

Herald was quite unlucky: His unconscious body dropped directly onto a stalagmite-like spike, finishing him. Moments later, though, another blast of light erupted from his body as the true form of Radiance momentarily appeared. Then, the light faded, revealing Herald alive and well. He flew up to Morpho and nodded, looking quite impressed.

"That was quite the show. Well fought." He extended his hand, offering a handshake.

Morpho Knight looks down at the spike that impaled Herald, then at the now-alive Herald. "Surprisingly fast." He shakes Herald's hand, then teleports away.

Herald landed on the ground, wandering off into the landscape.

As the roaring wall of flames passed around her and Zeus, Megan shivered — but not from the being cold. " Agh... bad memories...," she mumbled to herself, "What a terrible day for that memory." She witnessed the following events with a degree of aloofness she had not previously been showing, which only dropped once she saw Herald resurrect. Aah, I see now. Is it really that fast?, she asked in her mind.

After witnessing all of that, she decided to look around for someone to challenge to a duel, just to see how she would match up. Her sword arm was tensing up, and her trigger finger was getting twitchy.

"I can create enemies for you. I always enjoy seeing mortal fight." he declares. "It amuses me tremendously !"

A young woman with mussed-up black hair and several layers of black, fur-lined clothing, comes tumbling out of a portal. "Dragon?!" she shouts as she falls right in front of Zeus and Megan. "Where?! Did I miss it?!"

Megan is about to respond to Zeus, when she sees the black-clad woman arrive. Well, "arrive" — more like stumble or otherwise trip out of the portal.

She pointed at the newcomer, and said, "How do you know about that Elder Tyrant Dragon? You've arrived well after it did." At that moment, of course, a distant, draconic roar could be heard, although it was impossible to tell from which direction it came.
