I suppose that is very true as well. When it comes to room mates, Daniel really doesn't mind too much. If you start being loud and noisy he will just teleport somewhere till it quietens down anyway.
Could we go on a road trip during lunch break? No one will notice right with instant travel.

Edit: How about Amy got a single room (without tv and shower and so) because she's not here by total free choice and people don't want the "juvie" attendees 'corrupt' the normal ones? (Ie she's pre-marked as delinquent)?

I can mark you as having a single room. Your amenities are your choice. For whoever wants to share a room with Daniel I have a fun moment planned, depending on who grabs the spot.

Honestly, Narrative Wise Amy having a single room simply makes more sense for me, since she's probably not spending much time there beside sleeping.
Maybe the Academy has a "Share and get Amneties" or "Single Room but Shared Amneties" policy to encourage rooming? ^^

Maybe that combined with keeping those judged as most troublesome or likely to cause trouble separate from groups, while those who are more timid and or have weaker powers can be grouped without a significant danger chance.

Well, Matt's "voice" is disturbingly clear, and after a while he's even learned to simulate the reception of sound for other people to know where he is while "talking" to them. It kind of says so in my post.

Oh, cool. I think the two's differing views on what the title "mutant" means could make a nice dynamic.
If you'd like Matt to be his roommate, just make a post of Lapis responding to him. Matt's telepathy feels like actual talking, so Lapis could actually find Matt as one would find someone calling their name. But the "sound level" wouldn't change as he got closer to Matt; the feeling of "getting closer" would change.
