Weight is not the issue for Amy, its Volume. Ie she needs to make the volume she relocates bigger.
Porting herself is almost no effort for her, but making the volume bigger is more taxing (and more mentally straining)
"You can reply to this Message!"So here is scenario, if you were handcuffed and in a prison cell could you use your powers to get out of both?
Daniel could certainly teleport himself out of the handcuffs and prison. (Well he would teleport out of prison and not project the field onto the handcuffs)
"After time adrift among open stars, along tides of light and through shoals of dust, I will return to where I began."Depends. If the handcuffs are connected to the Wall probably not. Though the way I am planning it, this is more a psychological/conceptual thing.
Ie in her mind she is now "part" of the cell because she is chained to it, and its unlikely she could port the entire cell.

"You can reply to this Message!"Its good to work out the limitations of your abilities regardless. How much can your 'force-shield' or playing with reality protect you? How large of a disk can you make. It is always curious.
Though I did like when you said its anyone close together you can bring. So when you plan to move the group I imagine its like, huddle together.
Edit: The idea of you being part of the cell is a different take on it for sure compared to me projecting energy into the cell if I wanted to move it.

"After time adrift among open stars, along tides of light and through shoals of dust, I will return to where I began."A good (and very rough) example to explain how Amy's teleport work in that situation. You have two boxes and a kitten in one. You can grab in and take the kitten and put it in the other. But if the kitten is leashed to the box you either need to move the box or cut the leash.
As for her Shield I'd say 2x2m-to-3x3m-ish as maximum for now (though she can probably play a lot with the shape), though its pretty much 2D only.
And yeah at the beginning Amy is pretty much a Non Action Girl. That being said since she can port within a moments notice (especially to places she has been often) catching her is not that easy

"You can reply to this Message!""I will protect you with this anatomically incorrect heart barrier." Not sure why that came to my mind when you said playing with 2D shapes but you know.
How much of a beating can your barrier take? Or possibly how long could you sustain it under fire.
Catching either of our characters is pretty damn difficult.

"After time adrift among open stars, along tides of light and through shoals of dust, I will return to where I began."The barrier is depleted by kinetic energy, essentially normal space is knocking and telling that stuff is not as it should be.
Basically the more kinetic force is applied on the barrier the weaker it grows. At full strength you have zero traction on it, but the weaker it grows the more traction you get until finally it breaks and both spaces divided by the barrier united again, allowing something to got through.
Rough similie: Imagine the barrier as smoke. You can't grab the smoke but every time you try to wave it around until its finally so dissolved in the air that you can start seeing through again.

"You can reply to this Message!"I think your character may need a few trips to the physics lab to help train her powers. Trying to calculate the exact forces required to force space to reunite.
I am getting quite excited by this however. It definitely sounds like you have your character well envisioned and we have a handful of players with interesting characters. I am currently thinking about the physics, biology and chemistry behind some of our powers even if they are using artistic licence and Minovsky Physics. (My inner nerdy scientist and writer united under RP)

"After time adrift among open stars, along tides of light and through shoals of dust, I will return to where I began."^^
Amy pretty much used a free mix out of Subspace, Hyperspace and Quantum Entanglement fiction ideas. She's pretty much a metaphysics powered char.
"You can reply to this Message!"Woo all the science fiction techno babble. I am simply using some custom Minovskyphysics, though my secondary powers may end up taking advantage of quantum entanglement. (Anything quantum is clearly better anyway)
"After time adrift among open stars, along tides of light and through shoals of dust, I will return to where I began."If I had to pin it down, Amy could best be described as a living 5D-Interface to normal space. She has the native ability to fold real space like we can fold a 2D-sheet of paper.
But thats oversimplifying it probably.
"You can reply to this Message!"Oversimplified technobabble is probably fine. Making it simplified makes it easier to avoid contradicting yourself anyway if you need to do longer explanations.
The question does become, why can you do this? Is it genetic, is it some freak mutation, is it magic, is it Nano machines, a fragment of wisdom causing you to ascend? Does you character even know the source of their power?

"After time adrift among open stars, along tides of light and through shoals of dust, I will return to where I began."She does not know. She was probably tested for the X Gene but either doesn't have it or got a false negative.
Figured keeping it like that might be interesting in the future
"You can reply to this Message!"Sure, it allows for some interesting character development. Hopefully not a "I am your father" moment but whatever ends up working at the time.
"After time adrift among open stars, along tides of light and through shoals of dust, I will return to where I began."That is unlikely
If anything I'd probably consider some 4-Dimensional Shenangigans. I mean she's already screwing with the 5th one too.

"You can reply to this Message!"There are many unlikely things, however if it is not impossible then it could happen.
"After time adrift among open stars, along tides of light and through shoals of dust, I will return to where I began."I have no clue what to give to Daniel if we start adopting code names. I spent ages thinking of thematically appropriate ones but all the ones I thought of were all taken by marvel characters.
"After time adrift among open stars, along tides of light and through shoals of dust, I will return to where I began."How about 'Blink'?
http://www.last.fm/user/sgtpendulum Yo, check out what I'm listening, it'll be heat, brah :^)Clarice Ferguson is a mutant teleporter with that nickname already. Which admittedly I could handwave as I do like that as a nickname.
"After time adrift among open stars, along tides of light and through shoals of dust, I will return to where I began."Small tidbit: Amy has btw perfect memory recall. There is a reason for it but I will only tell Nick as the GM it if he wants
"You can reply to this Message!"We can officially start soon.
Wonderful, can't wait to get started
Sometimes it best to leave the lights Off
We need to both track you and give you the ability to move around with that phone.
How are you on transporting objects. Daniel can move large objects with him that he is in contact with. Such as he COULD teleport a piano downstairs (Assuming their was room for a piano downstairs) though it does take more effort. There is a degree of selectiveness unlike with living creatures as he actually needs to project the charged field around the object where it would naturally conduct through the skin of a person.
