That's why people started calling them VP/Vampirates.
Welcome to Estalia, gentlemen.Vampirates? Nice.
I like it.
"Sandwiches are probably easier to fix than the actual problems" -HylarnBTW, was it stated anywhere how many DL Cs left there is for Total Warhammer 2? Like I'd think there is at least skaven vs lizardfolk one, free lizardmen legendary hero and one more campaign pack(they keep bringing up Araby in both Tomb Kings and Vampire Coast and it is on the map so I guess Southern Realms plus Araby maybe? :p), but was it confirmed that is going to be all?
As far as I know, it's all just guessing. Hopefully, they will actually make Dogs of War and not let Dogbert's death be in vain.
I don't get the reference <_<
What does your Vampirate doomstack look like? I just got started with Noctilus and noticed that the melee zombies are useless, so I traded them all for Handgunners, who are great for the dakka factor. I'm also using Scurvy Dogs in the cavalry role, Deck Droppers to skirmish against high-value enemy units, and a couple of polearm zombie regiments in case the enemy gets too close. All that said, most of the heavy lifting is done by the starting Necrofex Colossus, which is absolutely ruinous against bunched-up infantry.
Echoing hymn of my fellow passerine | Art blog (under construction)I imagine there will maybe be some more for Skaven and Lizardmen since both elves have four generals now, while Skaven have 3 and Lizardmen still only have two.
This happened on a stream. He claims he said he meant to say the Rome II DLC Beasts of War. Then they took him off the stream and replaced with a fake skeleton with a picture of his head on it.
Oh that guy
May he rest in peace.
I think I might have found an army build I'm compatible with◊.
Still need to unlock the Depth Guard with polearms and maybe experiment with my ranged infantry some more.
Welcome to Estalia, gentlemen. So, I've been continuing one of my coop games today (Sartosa + Last Defenders in Mortal Empires).
Finally defeated the third of the legendary pirate lords, freeing up my hands to finally go after Clan Moulder and extend my pirate empire all along the Estalian coast.
That's my army preparing to take Skaven-held Tobaro◊ and I gotta say, when this happened, my friend started quoting Treebeard from the "Last March of the Ents" scene from the LotR movies◊.
The result so far◊. I only need to take Bilbali and my coastal expansion in the region is finished - I might take over the mountain pass province right above Estalia/Tilea to neaten up my borders a bit, but that's as far as I want to expand in that area.
I might sail over to Araby at some point, though.
Welcome to Estalia, gentlemen. So, I noticed a really annoying AI behaviour pattern in Mortal Empires recently.
You know how Chaos often splits up its armies to go after multiple settlements?
Well, turns out that apparently they like to play hide and seek.
Instead of burning the area south of Norsca to the ground, they sent their armies to God knows where. I found Kholek by sheer coincidence because he was chilling outside Karak Ungor (which I was aiming to conquer), missing most of his army.
I never even saw what happened to Archaon or the Everwatcher, but Sigvald apparently sailed to Ulthuan - a few turns after I saw him there, I got the notification that the Chaos faction got destroyed.
And as I said, that seems to be a pattern - I wonder if it's related to the AI's seeming inability to deal with corruption.
Welcome to Estalia, gentlemen. How to play the Alan-I mean, Lizardmen.
Dinosaurs are just like cold-blooded not-candy-ass horses anyway right? Either way - remove Kroq-gar, replace with Skink.

Write down Westonsammy into the book.
RUN-FLEE! GO-MOVE! GET TO FUR-FACE FLYING MACHINE!
Also, here's a Total War sale on Humble Bundle. II is 66% off, and the DLC (save for Vampirates at 20%) is 50% off.
Happy Rat Day, you reliably-unreliable cutthroat vermin-wretches.

Not only do they release the trailer on Rat Day, this is thirteen days before the DLC is supposed to come out.
That Predator shout out was great.
Ikit Claw before Thanquol? That's going in the Book!
Also, the free content coming with the DLC is a quest for the Lizardmen to unlock a new immortal hero in the form of Lord Kroak. Chungus Mortimus lives again.
Still not embarrassing enough to stan billionaires or tech companies. While Thanquol is supposedly the top dog in Skaven society, Ikit-Claw has a far greater presence in the lore, outside of the Gortek and Felix books. It was the best choice.

Can't wait to play Clan Skryre in ME - they start out in Skavenblight.
Welcome to Estalia, gentlemen.Vulkan Lives! Wait, wrong universe. Then again, Vulkan would love to have some giant, flaming lizards as his mount and pet.
Are they like Dawi with blasting charge, using their fire attack before going in melee combat?
E.T technically is a Isekai movie
Nothing can replace Vampire Counts in my heart but Vampire Coasts are still really cool, I love how CA made them into a pseudo-horde faction.
Also, I don't know if I'm more amused or annoyed by the fact that they're both abbreviated VC, that has proven to be somewhat annoying in online conversations.
