I still think the comedy is way above par.
Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.I agree the comedy is great. But so's the drama.
Come for the laughs, stay for the drama (and more laughs)
The coloring of the cats on the roof...
Episode 7: In which Amami's friends (and wife) decide she's put up with enough of random ghosts' shit. I quite agree with them.
- I don't understand. Am I supposed to ship Amami x Inoue or Amami x Roll Call Samurai? Both??
- Aww, Hibiki is so genuinely sorry she has to break her promise.
- Just hold hands already.
- Poor Uehara.
- Underaged drinking I am appalled by this anime.
- Awww, Grandma's girl.
- Take care of yourself, Hibiki.
- How are they making a snowman without gloves.
Fun end.
Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.Back to perfectly average for this show. More focus on the ghosts this time. Those two get along well. Nice glasses. Maybe that cat can be useful after all. Narumi gets drunk easily.
Your preferences are not everyone else's preferences.Mary's totally just trolling Uehara.
And how does someone get drunk on amazake? The alcohol content in there is so low even little children are allowed to drink it.
Give the God Eater game thread some love! She has a liver disease.
...I made myself sad there.
Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.Another feels episode.
High school students are surprisingly into their teachers' marriage and potential babies.
Aw, she's adorable!
Kenta really did say something good! If you have to abuse Kenta, hit him when he asks about pistil meeting stamen.
He's fine though.
Seriously, enough with the double standard abuse, it's 2015. Plus you're teaching ghost loli bad things.
Ohhhh okay. That explains everything. Moriya growed up.
Give him the phone and ask him if he recognizes this loli? Or is that too blunt?
Oh cool, they actually did it.
Oh he better invite her to the wedding.
O-oh. She's gone already...
Not quite yet, of course.
They're taking death pretty optimistically. "Someday we'll go to see her." "Yeah. Someday. Definitely!"
Next episode: Valentine's day. If Hibiki and Narumi don't get together, I swear...
Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.Still perfectly average. Sort of an okay episode dealing with a little ghost girl about to move on, along with a wedding. If nothing else, I can give props for consistency.
Your preferences are not everyone else's preferences.Episode 9!
Is...is nobody gonna bring up the possibility that she's making them for Inoue? I mean she's probably making them for some woobie ghost. She does everything for them. Notice Inoue's feelings already!
They were shipping them so sincerely at first, and now they're all like "lol jk! girls cant love girls!"
Ohh, so she's giving them to a grumpy old (living!) man!
...with a ghost wife.
Well, that Ushida joke came out of nowhere.
That was sweet though.
Stop it! Feels! 0/10 no Hibiki x Narumi but feels!
Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.Damn. This show does feels and comedy well. That ED is a total Mood Whiplash though.
Give the God Eater game thread some love!Much ado about nothing in this episode, as usual, but again another one that generated feels. Kind of wished that the girls silenced Yamada for the duration of the episode. Permanently.
So do I, but then he'll become something that can't be punched.
Give the God Eater game thread some love! And so for the last episode we have a BD bonus that they accidentally broadcasted
Overall, kind of a mixed bag. Started well and ended fairly strongly, but in between that it felt kind of phoned in. For the main problems I'd say it was fairly repetitive and yet had too many characters. The number of characters meant that none of them got much time, making most all of them fairly one-note. The blonde girl and Messiah could easily have been combined. Zombie-girl and that guy probably should have been one character (or cut entirely). In the end, I'm not sure I'd ever recommend it, but I don't actually regret watching
Wait, did they really broadcast it by accident?
I liked the show immensely, and I am sad it won't continue.
Maybe? This'd take the form of a mixup in communication, with intending episode 13 to be a bonus but telling the broadcasters that they wanted to air 13, though
I think this was actually kind of good. Hibiki's change was surprising at first. Took me a few seconds to decide between body switching and possession. Nice development for Uehara. This show does drama better than comedy, which is pretty unusual actually.
