Cutting it for being a Stock Phrase and against the rules would be a help.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickAye, torch it. And it was created without YKTTW in 2012.
Sometimes, I wished I had started the new page policing already back then.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI've added it to the cutlist.
(Annoyed grunt)That was a bit fast, and it's missing the discussion page notification. I'll hold off for more input.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanOops. Apologies for that.
(Annoyed grunt)Anyone else in support or opposition?
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI support the cit for violation of the "no new stock phrases" rule. There might be a new trope somewhere but I cannot see one in the current description. Not woth the effort.
4 [cut]
Link to TRS threads in project mode here.Needs only a few more votes to get this cut.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanHonestly I don't see a trope here, unlike some other stock phrases like You Need A Breathmint which I do see a trope in it.
So, this is Stock Phrase without YKTTW, and only has 11 wicks and 2 inbounds.
Cut away.

I'd support a cut. When I saw the title, I assumed it was a stock quote as well (i.e. Winston Zeddemore yelling "I love this town" at the end of Ghostbusters).
OK, that is enough for me. I've put the note in the discussion page and will accept the cut request, unless someone wants to remove the wicks manually.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanApparently nobody, so I've just accepted the cut request; locking this.

Doesn't seem to be getting much love.
Honestly, when I hear this phrase, the situation is usually much different than what the trope describes:
Character is being chased by bad guys through the streets
Character(at some bystanders: "Those guys don't like *insert local institution/sport/company product*!"
Crowd mobs the bad guys
Character: I love this town.
or
Character is getting pampered at a bar or spa or whatever else.
Server(or rough equivlent): Would you like some more *extremely decadent dish or service* sir?
Character: I love this town.
How can the described trope be better cleaned up?
