That's hilarious, and rather clever.
Optimism is a duty.x4 Scrooge's sister Hortense, I mean. Both she and Matilda are scratched out of the family tree, along with her husband, Quackmore Duck. [1]

saw this on Frank's Twitter.
It goes back to our original idea for Fenton: he’s not the token “Latino superhero”. He’s a superhero who happens to be Latino. All the various aspects of him make up who he is, but no one of them defines him entirely.

Very wise to include that then, since he knows just what he's doing with those nicknames to serve how every character is represented in this episode.

First look at new characters coming in Season 2 from Comic Con 2018.
Preview of the last 5 episodes of Season 1

Thoughts on Season 2:
- John D. Rockerduck's redesign is nice, especially the white.
- THE THREE CABALLEROS!
- A new head of Glomgold Industries. Meh.
Thoughts on the final five episodes trailer
- Sheesh, Magica got some adaptational ugliness and it works well
- I got the impression that the Spear of Selene is related to Magica De Spell from how they edited the trailer. Could be editing. Could be something else.
- Fenton is helping fight Magica's shadow demons. I'm in.
The Steampunk Gizmoduck was pretty cool too.
Wake me up at your own risk.
- So whatever stuff hits the fan, Lena will make it out of it. Sweet. And Webby's getting another lady friend. Double sweet.
- AHHHHHHHHHHHH! 3 Caballeros! I love how they look!
Also, another thing to look forward to in the last 5 episodes that involves Donald...
Yes, the doohickey is called a Barksian Modulator, after Carl Barks. That is awesome. Plus, that "Thanos Survivor" bit feels a lot funnier than it probably should be...

Why do people keep talking about The Three Caballeros? Are they getting a new series?
They got what we assume is a web-exclusive series called Legend of the Three Caballeros and now they're showing up in DuckTales!
I thought Legend was actually airing in Asia or something.
Fresh-eyed movie blogMore Darkwing refs, and we also see Beakly dressed up as him.
...Well, we know they still have stuff in the pipe as far as the Terror that flaps in the night is concerned.
And all this other stuff is looking interesting.
So what are our guesses about Della? Transformed into Lena? Possessed by Magica? Actually a Doombot?
One Strip! One Strip!x5 Well, it's been known to happen before...
It's cute how excited he gets about actually being able to talk. Of course, by the end of it, he will go back to sounding as ducky as usual, because the universe hates him too much to let it last.

So yeah.
Don Cheadle, Thanos Survivor, will lend his voice in the season finale to ..... Donald Duck. They're apparently writing a nod to a classic Disney cartoon and writing an ep where Donald's voice changes temporarily.
Also the Three Caballeros are officially making an appearance in this show too! I swear it seems this show is half-just-fanservice!
.... OH MY GOD THEY'RE BRINGING BACK DIJON! And it looks like he's less goofy and ethnically exaggerated.
Talk about Late-Arrival Spoiler. To Avengers all things.

Looks like they're adapting (or at least referencing) OGDT episode The Hound of Castle McDuck and Barks story Trail of the Unicorn. Interesting.
Was that one character... Err, I don't know his name in English, but the kind of dumb friend of Donald's who causes lot of unnecessary problem for him? The guy whose redesign had lot of red?
Your thinking of.. the aracuan
New theme music also a boxNo no I mean this character◊
Yeah, that one! He is called Diederik Duck in Dutch, I think. He is the other banned character I was talking about, along with Ludwig von Drake. He does appear in the pockets, though.
Edit: Fethry Duck, that's the one.
So... Beakley is Darkwing now? How does that work? (At first I thought, man, DW has gotten really fat. )
Bubba is coming back, and judging from the crowd, they are not at all displeased with the idea.

Optimism is a duty.So Donald getting another Non-Ducky voice is a totally a reference. Frank liked my tweet pointing that out.
It's also a great meta-joke calling out the difference between Comics Donald, who can talk normally, and cartoon Donald who sounds well, ducky.
Granted, that is not the voice I pictured him having though.
Now I'm picturing him getting into a rage with that voice, and it's kind of cursed.

I love that Don was billed as "Thanos Survivor"
New Episode.
It's confusing how Webby responds to crisis'. She either fangirls over how much of an adventure it is, or treats it seriously and gets afraid.
"Matilda Horrence"?
Of course the string isn't any ordinary string.
Haha "what's the Other Bin??" "GASP!"
Is the Other Bin something from the comics or the show, or is it something this show made up?
Oh hey Bigfoot. Moving on...
This sidestory seems very random. But the nephews keeping a character a secret from Scrooge isn't new. :D
Oh hey assorted bits of zombie parts. Moving on...
Clever clues!
I'm pretty sure Beaks doesn't care who was in the suit and doesn't recognize Fenton as anyone worth remembering. Like that time Lex Luthor was in the Flash's body and tried unmasking him. "I have no idea who this is."
