Just in case you didn't get it, the title is a pun.
My angry rant blog!I've started reading this, and thus far (read: about twelve or thirteen pages in) I'm rather enjoying it: it's cute and amusing, and the art is lovely. ^_^
My Games & WritingWhat a cute comic.
What a horrible pun.
Found a blog post from 2012. Apparently, she started working on Harpy Gee towards the end of Teen Titans's run. She actually pitched it to that Cartoonstitute thing CN did and while she did get support, the program went in a different direction. To quote Brianne on what happened next:
...I can see why she decided to make it a webcomic. *Face Palm*

So, we've recently had revealed some of the backstories to both Prince Humphrey and Harpy herself, including the first appearance of Humphrey's wings and how he came to Podunkelo, how it is that Harpy has no magic and how she first met Pumpkin, and a bit of bonding between Harpy and Humphrey.
All in all, very sweet, very cute, and very enjoyable to read. ^_^
The most recent page at time of writing should be here, featuring another flashback to cute-if-somewhat-bellicose child-Harpy. It also implies that the type of magic available to an elf is related to their hair-colour, with green-haired elves having verdant magic.

My Games & WritingNew page! The bullying continues via magic —but Harpy's immune to magic, presumably as a side-effect of having lost her own.
The bubbles were both unexpected and fun, I will admit.
That poor potted plant.
My Games & WritingDidn't expect that.
Who knew his ongoing transformation allowed for Ceiling Cling?
"And as long as a sack of shit is not a good thing to be, chivalry will never die."I'd like to point out that, two pages ago, Humphrey's thoughts went out to the common folk that do this kind of work every day, even if just a second. I think that scores him points.
Also, we might just be seeing a silhouette, but I already like Ash's mom's design.

Word of God here. Corrections need to be done.

Ugh. You know, instead of bitching about it on Twitter, they could just edit it themselves. It's not like you need a license or anything.
Lots of creators make a point of not editing their own works' TV Tropes page to avoid conflicts of interest.
"And as long as a sack of shit is not a good thing to be, chivalry will never die."Huh, I'd have thought there'd be more talking here...
Anyway, it's not Harpy Gee-related, but it is Brianne Drouhard-related!
She's doing a comic book series called "Mega Princess" with Hawkeye writer Kelly Thompson!
Bump.
So I'm following Brianne Drouhard on Twitter and she seems to be teasing some cartoon project of hers...
So out of curiosity, I tweeted (or rather, replied to one of her teasing tweets) her, asking if it has nothing to do with Princess Amethyst or Harpy Gee and is a different thing altogether.
She ended up liking the tweet.
Is that supposed to be a clue or am I overthinking it?
Double bump, necro-edition:
YOOOOOOOOOOO! GUESS WHAT SHOWED UP OUT OF NOWHERE!
Wow, nice.
"And as long as a sack of shit is not a good thing to be, chivalry will never die."Dang, that's fantastic.
It's a shame that this thread isn't more active; I love this comic and would really like to see it get appreciated more. Here's a work of fan-art I did for it. It shows Harpy meeting up with Pumpkin sometime in the future when he's become a full-grown Goblin Cat. . . and had kittens!

Let's talk about Harpy Gee.
One thing that I find interesting about the comic is how it came about. Brianne Drouhard has been working as a storyboard artist and character designer in the animation industry for about 10 years and was in charge of those Amethyst shorts on DC Nation. That should have been a good reason to accept her Harpy Gee concept for a cartoon. NOPE! The execs either didn't want it because it had a female protagonist or kept suggesting stupid changes like setting it in high school. After years of trying to get it approved, Brianne finally decided to take matters into her own hands and turn her concept into a webcomic. This just makes me smile for some reason.
