Anyone else seen this movie? It just premiered on Hulu, I believe.

It's your typical modern-boy-has-an-adventure-in-a-magical-world story, except that it involves Filipino characters and myths (I think). For example the vampires in here are bizarre- they can split in half, with the top half of their bodies flying away (with bat wings) while the legs are left behind on the ground. This sounds like a variation of the penangalang, except that creature is a flying head that leaves its body behind. Maybe this is a more "family-friendly" version?

Anyway, while not extraordinary, it was fun to watch and I recommend it. Also, I'd like to make a page for it but I didn't take notes while watching it so any help (with names etc.) here first would be appreciated. (and yes I googled it, even IMDB wasn't much help.)

This is a dubbed version of the Filipino animated film Dayo: Sa Mundo ng Elementalia (Tourist: In the World of Elementalia) and it is a nice film to tackle Philippine Mythology and know how.

Thanks for the information! Is there any website that could help with researching it?

I'm pretty sure the producer of this is also the guy behind Wayward Sons (he advertised the movie on said comic's website).
