If it's not the latter part of the game where Mae (warning, actual spoiler) gets "shot", that puzzle is the point where people theorize that Mae (theory spoiler) actually dies/gets in a coma and the rest of the events are her imagination, right? Right?

My DA account... I draw stuff sometimes! What, like Homer in the coma?
Coma theories are the lowest form of theories
Forever liveblogging the AvengersI'm pretty sure that's kind of hurtful to the people who like coma/actually dead character theories.
My DA account... I draw stuff sometimes!they're still really lame and cliche :P
"Coffee! Coffeecoffeecoffee! Coffee! Not as strong as Meth-amphetamine, but it lets you keep your teeth!"You mean after "Wander around some more to see if Angus is somewhere else", "wander around to see if there is something you can use to poke the broken button", or "have no ungodly idea because you've tried LITERALLY EVERYTHING YOU CAN THINK OF and nothing works"?

I mean the game has no real inventory system aside from like, one thing? so I figured it obviously can't be an item I'm supposed to get because item getting isn't a thing. I listened to all the floors for fun, tried to go through again, and while the lines don't play again, the sparks do so...
"Coffee! Coffeecoffeecoffee! Coffee! Not as strong as Meth-amphetamine, but it lets you keep your teeth!"The sparks do what now?
I think they mean, when you press the buttons enough times the people in the other apartments dont talk anymore, but the sparks are still present.
I still can't say the puzzle was inuitive or anything.
My DA account... I draw stuff sometimes! So you have to be a freaking member of MENSA to figure this crap out!
just do what mae would do! poor impulse control saves the day!
"Coffee! Coffeecoffeecoffee! Coffee! Not as strong as Meth-amphetamine, but it lets you keep your teeth!"I don't know what else there even is to do!
Hit any of the other buttons and then press Mae's finger into the crackling electricity of Gregg and Angus' button to complete the circuit. And get electrocuted.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersHOW THE FUCK WAS I SUPPOSED TO KNOW THAT?!?!?!?!??!'

For me, it was a childlike attraction to shiny things and a disdain for the concept of mortality.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersThings I never had.
I found they are qualities that helped get into Mae's mindset.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersSeriously. Just approach the game with a blissful disregard to potentially lethal personal injury and you're in like flynn.
"Coffee! Coffeecoffeecoffee! Coffee! Not as strong as Meth-amphetamine, but it lets you keep your teeth!"I still need to know that that's even a possibility to begin with. I literally never ever ever ever EVER would've guessed that the game would even let me do that.
Isn't there a button you can press where the guy tells you how to do it or something?
Like the one at the bottom?
I don't think so.
"Coffee! Coffeecoffeecoffee! Coffee! Not as strong as Meth-amphetamine, but it lets you keep your teeth!"So you just stumble into it by fucking around and making horrible contrivances of logic that defy any way anyone has ever thought ever?
Welcome to adventure games.
Trans rights are human rights.I think you're being a bit harsh, honestly.
You have a puzzle, something very obviously happens when you press buttons, and with limited options, you experiment. Y'know, like how most puzzles work.
Just press any other button, then press Gregg + Angus' button before the sparks disappear
