I'm also confused about what Kim was doing at that volunteer place, if she was trying to get into law work again or getting back into scams.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.Well, there's no hint she's up to anything untoward, she's just confessed all her sins last episode by the end she's back into the law, and Jimmy is locked up so won't be around to tempt her into schemes, and is finally trying to be honest with himself, there's always the possibility they head back down that road but everything in the show makes it look like a legit attempts to start over, literally in her case since that was the entry level job she started out with
Frankly, I think Jimmy serving a much-much less severe sentence would have been justice.
Author of The Rules of Supervillainy, Cthulhu Armageddon, and United States of Monsters.I thought Kim had taken the job so she could look around those files at night when no one was paying attention.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.I think that Kim has broken good. What happened to Howard scared her off of scams for life. She's now in the process of healing. Just like Jimmy.
I liked it better when Questionable Casting was called WTH Casting AgencyI kind if wish there was some way they could have found Howard's body.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult. It's sad that we have to say goodbye to this good show.
“What is that? It's The Unknown!”Yeah, Jimmy definitely deserved prison time (and Jimmy feels like the most appropriate character to go to prison to begin with; y'know, the guy who manipulated the legal system should be punished within it), but yeah, I gotta agree... a 7 year stint would've been relatively fair, all things considered. Mostly because 98% of what he did as Saul was white collar crime. Even a ten year stint (out in 8 with good behavior) would still be relatively tolerable, in my opinion.
I understand the whole redemption arc thing they were going for, but I think it's a bit depressing that Jimmy's likely going to die in prison while those who did worse things walked free. The fact that he chose this kind of makes it feel like Jimmy is really only being punished this way because he has a good heart, and had he been as cold as everyone thinks he is he could have had another chance at life.
The cold never bothered me anywayI mean, he chose it. He showed he could play the system, and decided to take the blame in spite of everything, to prove he was better than even he believed.
And, after all, only he and Jesse got out of that entire stint with their lifes (well, Badger and Skinny Pete too, but those weren't anything but a pair of old kids). Jesse has a chance of having a good life after just plain suffering, Jimmy is finally content after he stopped fleeing.
There's also Francesca, Huell, and the rest of the crew, who all seem to be living in relative peace but also misery.
It's been 3000 years…I think Huell will end up ok, he got out and seems like someone who can find the bright side in things.
I also wish there had been one more grand trial that could be set to Ace Attorney music.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.I know this isn't the place for this, but I find funny how the Slippin Jimmy animated prequel went out two months ago and left completely no cultural mark whatsoever. It doesn't even have a page on the wiki, the concept is honestly so absurd I wonder how was it approved.
oh hey how are you doing?I like how Slippin' Jimmy slipped and jimmied all over the place, I hope it gets slipillion dollars, yadda yadda Morbius copypasta.
It's been 3000 years…Guys, I have a question. What happened to Gene's mustache? Was it fake or got shaved off screen?

“What is that? It's The Unknown!”Huh, I didn't notice that. When does it disappear? Frankly I was expecting him to shave it off the moment he heard the police scanner but I guess he was in a bit of a rush at the time :D
Is there anything to suggest that's her motivation? She wouldn't be looking to scam legal aid clients, she always previously got into scams by convincing herself she was conning rich & deserving victims. I suppose she could be hunting for wronged victims to offer to con money back for, but why do that by rifling through paperwork when she could just do the job and wait to offer that service to anyone who seems to need it?
The simplest explanation just seems to be that after trashing her legal career & regretting her mistakes she's starting again at the bottom, helping those in need like she always wanted.

It is gone by the time he meets with the prosecutors and Marie, so he had plenty of time to shave between his arrest and then.
It's been 3000 years…Watched the first two episodes. Man, did Twidledee and Twidledum really through Jimmy for a loop. As much of a loose cannon Tuco was, honestly, I think just about anyone would have had the impulse to knock them over considering how they handled their scam attempt.
I... still have to finish Better Call Saul. Dropped off around Season 4. A shame because I hear the later seasons got wild.
Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).I'm def enjoying the main cast more on a tolerable level, seeing as how Walt, among certain others, were pretty intolerable in Breaking Bad.
Mmmmm, wait till you meet Chuck. XD
Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).Well with Saul and Mike as the funny man, straight man dynamic, I think I'll be more ok.
It's all good man, understandable. -finger guns- Most of the cast are pretty good people.
Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).Definitely worth a rewatch then! The later parts of the show really up the Holy Shit Quotient in a good way. I definitely think BCS is a better show than its predecessor, but the trilogy as a whole (with El Camino, which is excellent) holds up well.
There's a big difference between "love to hate" evil and "truly jackass piece of shit" evil, and Walter White ends up very much the latter. BB is just so bleak, with nothing remotely good happening to anyone remotely good. BCS is also a tragedy of course, and in its own way even more of one, but it feels less soul destroying by the end.
I think that much was evident since at least season 3, when Chuck baits Jimmy into destroying the secret recording of his confession. Chuck assures Howard that he knows his brother, and that he believes Jimmy will sneakily break into his house at night to steal it. Cue Jimmy breaking in Chuck's door in broad daylight, emotionally distraught.
