Or maybe either she or Lacroix just came from a rich family.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel. They do have a chateau after all.
A few other interesting things for the new map is a wall of singers for Cabaret Luna, all of them before the female omnic you see in Cabaret Luna were human interestingly enough which makes me think that the omnics for some reason or another got full ownership of the place or the establishment just very recently started allowing omnics to participate in singing. My personal favorite of the previous singers is Miss Adams (I think thats what her name is?).
There is also a clothing advertising board not far from their with this really snazzy looking woman. Forgot her name.

So, I started to properly play Competitive after...what, two years? And...what is this? Am I...actually climbing up the rank!?
Wow! If I keep this up, I might even escape this ELO Hell. XD
...If.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel. And then dRoy lost 15 matches in a row.
Honestly, that's what I expected would happen today, but I managed to climb some more, even if by just 40.
Turns out that even in ELO Hell, if you act really patient and persuasive, there are people who switches from Widowmaker/Hanzo/etc to Tank or Healers. XD
Also, when in doubt, just build a team comp around Reaper: Ana and Zarya to give it healing and barrier, and Winston to take care of snipers. Reaper finally lives up to his callsign. XD
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Man, this event has not been kind to me thus far. Several days in and I haven't gotten anything but the sprays and maybe one winpose.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Sprays and icons are everyone's mortal enemy during events. There's just...so many to take up space in crates and lock you out of getting skins.
Adventurers: homeless people who steal from tombs and kill things. At least sprays sometimes give bits of lore, but icons? To hell with them.
Well, at least I got the General skin for Brigitte. Lucky me, I guess. I have around 4,000 credit so I might as well buy Mccree's Magistrate skin.
Also, I got the Die, Die, Die achievement...even though my kill feed only showed me killing two with Death Blossom. Oh well, not gonna complain.

I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.I usually buy Voice Lines and Sprays as soon as an event starts. The Loot Crates, or so I've been told, are predisposed to favor handing you new items when they can. So getting rid of the cheapest things has usually gotten me all of the other in-game items pretty quickly. Haven't missed an event since.
Not a bad tactic if you happen to have enough in-game currency at hand.
...Whoa.
That...is actually a brilliant idea! I never thought of that method until now.
Holy shit, I'm so gonna do that.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel. My understanding is that lootboxes roll some dice to determine how many items of what rarity (white, blue, purple, gold) you'll receive. Then it looks for items in that rarity that you don't already have and gives them to you. If you already have everything in that rarity, it gives you a dupe.
Buying up everything in the white and blue categories doesn't get you purples and golds any quicker, it just gets you more white and blue dupes and wastes your in-game currency.

Right. The only way to "game" the system, for example, is if you buy up all the 25 credit voice lines. During an event, it will ensure all your voice line drops will be the remaining 75 credit event voice lines. Likewise, if you get all the standard victory poses and emotes. It won't make event victory poses drop, but it will ensure that any that do drop will be the more expensive event ones.
What about the scenario where a loot box does have a legendary, but the guaranteed event item ends up being a common? Can that happen?
The guaranteed event item isn't guaranteed to be a non-dupe.
Right. I've gotten regular skins during events all too frequently. There's no real way to game the drops.
I've played enough that most of my drops during an event are event drops.
Just to show how crazy Mystery Heroes can get, I played a game the other day where the enemy team got six - count 'em, six Pharahs. Four of which at the same time!
I was playing Ashe. I killed all but one of them. One during her Ultimate, saving my team. They rained explosive death one after the other, and each fell like flies.
The last Pharah did me in, slipping behind me and unleashing her entire Ultimate at me where I couldn't see. I was honored that it took that to finish me. My team wiped her out immediately after, and we eventually won.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Practicing Mccree for quite a bit now.
And I STILL find myself resorting to the right click to get kills. I swear, at times I'm wondering if I'm basically Reaper without teleport but with CC. XP
Maybe I should disable right click in the setting period when playing as Mccree.
Also, as much as I want to get really good with Ana, playing as her is just too damn stressful. XP
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Right click is a valid tool. There's no reason to handicap yourself.
Man, I wish I had the micromanagement to play well as Ana. Her kit has so many tools that can turn and secure fights, but...all in the moment at the same time I get overwhelmed.
Sleep dart is the hardest thing to hit. If the enemy doesn't strafe at the last second, seems like I end firing it into a Winston barrier someone throws up at the last second or a Defense Matrix, or shoot an enemy instead of a teammate that jumps into my firing line, or have to reload my clip at the worst possible second when people need the healing. I think I just don't have the patience and center to play as her, lol.
That, or I get targeted by enemy Widowmakers or Hanzos and picked off instantly if I take a perch above the fight. Something like that. Eventually I decided to just stick with Moira mostly if I'm healing. So many fewer nerves. Or even Mercy, since her gun is actually pretty decent for damage. People say she's been nerfed into the ground, but I find pretty good success with her a lot of the time.
Adventurers: homeless people who steal from tombs and kill things.I've done relatively well as Ana. Some of the things I've taken to doing, rightly or wrongly:
- I don't use/rely on the scope. There's an advantage to it in how it hitscans (or doesn't? I forget) but I'm terrible with scope aiming and am actually better at firing normally. This does require you to be in the thick of it, but you'll be with your teammates so that shouldn't be a horrible problem.
- I've made some pretty good sleep dart shots here and there, but I primarily try to use them for guys like Roadhog and Bastion, targets that are typically big and/or stationary. Ana's in fact become a favorite Bastion counter of mine for that reason. Alternatively, fire into crowds where a miss is less likely.
- Use her grenades when healing a tank. Her regular shots don't heal enough on their own to heal a tank to full health quickly. Combined with the grenade it works much better. Alternatively, use them on guys like Roadhog or Basion, who self-heal.
The biggest issue I personally have with Ana is determining when to use her Nano-boost ult and who to give it to. And a tendency to miss those shots because someone moves in the way at the wrong moment.

I got the D.Va and Reinhardt Lego set!
- In terms of build, both are fantastic. They're really fun to make, and each section can keep you guessing what each bit is for until they're finished.
- In terms of look, both look great. There are a lot of tiny details here and there for authenticity's sake that really make them look nice and complete.
- In terms of poseability, both are missing a knee joint, which hinders that a bit. The presence of elbow joints helps, though Reinhardt in particular really suffers from a lack of a wrist joint for his hammer.
- In terms of scale, it's all fucked. Both suits are about 2-3 times as large as they should be, making the scale with their included minifigures look really wonky. Of special note is the Meka being twice as long from front to back as the D.Va minifig is tall, and for some stupid reason, they didn't include controls for D.Va to hold onto, so she just kind of sits in there and rattles around inside with a bunch of excess room.
- Stickers are bad. Stickers are always bad, just have the pieces be printed. Unfortunately, this set comes with a ton of stickers.
Overall, I'd say it's a worthy buy, I just wish there had been more thought put into how they would look and interact with their minifigs. I hope they eventually come out with accurate smaller Reinhairdt and Meka suits that actually fit the scale of the rest of the minifigs.
The Overwatch Lego set I'm looking forward to most, by a wide margin, is Orisa.

That's... actually pretty clever as an in-joke. One of the things Eris may or may not have been about was spurring people to fundamentally change and act as their antitheses (for better or for worse). As a graceful ballerina who was twisted into a ruthless sniper, that fits Widowmaker to a tee.
On the flipside, if that's all there is, I don't think that constitutes a hint that she was evil all along. Especially not to that extent.
