Ya know, I'm surprised SGB nor Brainscratch ever did Super Mario RPG
Remember, these idiots drive, fuck, and vote. Not always in that order. You know, I don’t know why either.
I know Ted dislikes Mario RPG, but at least John and Ryan like it.
Though they lately don’t do RP Gs outside of Pokémon as I think their viewership tends to decline with RP Gs unless it’s a mainstream franchise like Final Fantasy or Pokémon.
I’d love to see them do Neptunia, for example, though I think only John has played that series, as shown in one of his Mega Man X reviews.
You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life! The main reason they don't do SMRPG is time. Time To Beat gives a main story run through a time of around 17.5 hours. Assuming exactly 30 minute parts, that's still a 35 part playthough, and we can't guarantee Ryan will do 30 minute parts.
Another time reason, is they likely have other games they want to commentate over first.
And it will likely be Ryan as Johnny doesn't host playthoughs that often anymore due to his other obligations, and Johnny likely has other games he wants to play for the channel before hand.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."Double post: Smash Twitch stream featuring Sora tomorrow at 7 pm EDT.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."Ted's the one who hosts most of the time and he's been pretty bad about uploading any of their Twitch streams to You Tube since 2018 and the Pokemon Let's Go streams.

"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."I can understand time being an issue, but compared to the Paper Mario games, Mario RPG is quite short.
Remember, these idiots drive, fuck, and vote. Not always in that order.I think just with RP Gs in general it’s just time and length of the LP.
You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life!Time To Beat has Paper Mario 64 at an average of almost 23 hours to beat the main story.
The group’s commentary was 42 parts of an average of about 20 minutes a part with Ted cutting out a large amount of backtracking.
If I remember correctly, there's very little backtracking in SMRPG, so there wouldn't be much to cut from the recordings, except maybe the excessive battles.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."Yeah, and How Long To Beat places stuff like Neptunia at roughly 20-30 hours for the main stories. Which those games would easily be at least 40-50 parts if they did 30 minute parts.
And that would be if they cut out backtracking to dungeons to level grind.

You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life! For the 30th anniversary, it's time to return to the games that started it all, in Taxman form.
So, they are doing the Taxman ports? Wonder if the Sonic 3 and Knuckles run will be Sonic 3 AIR since there’s no Taxman port for that game.
You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life!Double post here: Kinda hoping that the 3 and Knuckles playthrough isn’t just gonna be Ted arguing that it’s two separate games again.
You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life!I'm sure he'll bring it up for the shits and giggles while acting serious about it.
Remember, these idiots drive, fuck, and vote. Not always in that order.Probably. Probably gonna also have the fourth time he argues about how to pronounce “Hydrocity”.
You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life!So I hear you liek Green Hill Zones.
So they did confirm that Ryan will be playing Sonic 3 Complete for the re-visit.
Wondering what customization options he’s gonna play with and I hope he is better at the game than he was 10 years ago.
You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life!Time to Intergrade this remake.
It's Sonic 3!
I’m impressed that Ted didn’t argue over how to pronounce “Hydrocity”.
(For the record, it’s supposed to be “Hydro City”, but some people think it’s a pun on the word “velocity”.)
You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life! And Sonic & Knuckles!
I don’t understand Ted’s dislike for the depth of Sonic 3 and Knuckles’s level design and his hatred for that game’s secrets.
This playthrough has become Ted and Lewis arguing and it’s getting annoying. Coming from someone that agrees with Lewis.
You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life!He doesn’t hate the secrets, he just thinks that people oversell the quality of them in these games and finds some of them (flying battery spike ring) to go against the main draw of Sonic.
Comes across as hating the secrets.
But Ted doesn’t really like 3 and Knuckles the way the others (plus a lot of other content creators on You Tube, even ones that are very critical of 1, 2, and CD) do.
But I don’t find the secrets to be that out of the way for Classic Sonic, seeing as the Classic games were less about going super fast but rather maintaining that speed. Though Ted’s expectations for a Sonic game are different from what the others’ are.
I miss Gareth.

Not so NEW anymore.
