Dekus dad being a complete non-entity in the series is prime theory fodder, with AFO secretly being Dekus dad as one of the most prominent ones. Also makes for yet another Star Wars reference.
While that theory is thankfully dead now, I wonder if we might finally see Hisashi in the epilouge or something.
Red, you are caught up now - But that just means now you've got space to read through Vigilantes! Its not necessary for the main series (although it WILL supplement some plot points), but its a very solid spin-off.
And the main protagonist is college age instead of high school. Small difference, but its still pretty rare in the anime space.

You know, all this reminds me of how little Deku and AFO have going as a hero and villain pair compared to what Deku has with Shiggy.
Admittedly, it’s very Luke and Palpatine esque.

But at least with Star Wars, you didn't need a personal connection with Palpatine, in order to make his threat absolutely WORK. His reputation was more than enough.

Yeah, he was the ultimate bad guy that Luke had to defeat, but the emotional core of the story was between Vader and Luke.
And Vader had more going on with Palpatine than Luke, so it’s narratively satisfying, he’s the one to kill him.

This might've been the single best double spread in the series, which is obviously saying something.
The pig of Hufflepuff pulsed like a large bullfrog. Dumbledore smiled at it, and placed his hand on its head: "You are Hagrid now."
That would be a pretty amusing plot development, NGL. Just one of the author's favorite storylines in Spider-Man is Superior.
If it had to be Shiggy or All for One who had to switch minds and see memories of Deku... I'd say All for One for maximum lols.
