Can't believe we're getting an anime movie starring famous professional wrestler Goldberg.
Funny thing is, "You're Next" is a line that was slightly altered in the English Dub to the (in my opinion) much cooler "Now, its your turn." So in english, the title loses its significance a lot.
Yeah, I did actually pick up on the fact that the title is a reference to that scene, but I also got flashbacks to when All For One used it on Deku in that recording.
I get that Dark Might is supposed to be an All Might wannabe, so it makes sense he'd bastardized his final super hero words, but do we know what his deal is yet? Is he a knight templar kind of deal or is he just a criminal trying to use All Might's name to his advantage?
And is All for One behind this?
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.I just want to know who'll voice Dakr Might in the dub.
No, this is not just me wanting Lani to voice an expy of someone voiced by Chris Sabat
Silence is golden, noise is platinum. Keelah se'laiI'm sure Sabat and Lani would be up for it. I don't think Studio Bones has the same grudge against Team Fourstar as Toei animation.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult. The evil twin trope is such an old stalwart of superhero comics this is actually logical.
I do think it's possible that he's a criminal trying to bastardize All Might's legacy.
Calling himself Dark Might is a bit suspect if that is indeed his code name.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.95% chance is just All for One trying to ruin everything again, the man is harder to get rid of than herpes
Song of the SirensAll For One: It was me Deku, I hired an actor to ruin All Might’s reputation, so the new All Might movie would lose hundreds of millions of cash.

I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult. That sort of reminds me of the first Darkwing Duck episode in Duck Tales 2017...
Wait, Darkwing Duck was in Ducktales?

I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.Wasn't that also the first episode of the original series?
The 2017 Ducktales yes.
He started off as an in-universe show that Launchpad was a fan of (as a nice Mythology Gag to classic Launchpad being the only person who knew who Darkwing was at first), but then a new version of Drake appeared and became Darkwing for real.
Anyway, lets go Evil All Might. I'm sure that'll be fun for everyone in universe.
One Strip! One Strip!yes he was in the 2017 reboot. dwd was a show in universe that was getting rebooted as a dark gritty movie and drake mallard is the actor playing the new darkwing and then shenanigans happen.

No, I mean the '90's version of Darkwing Duck: Wasn't "The Birth of Negaduck" the first episode?
…..Childhood ruined.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult. That's actually an in-universe issue in that episode too.
One Strip! One Strip! The baffling thing is that it took so long for some lunkhead to think it'd be nice going out as an 'evil' or 'dark' All Might. I have always imagined that the MHA world would be full of cheap wannabes and knockoffs, like All Brawn, Super Might, All Mighty, Mighty Might, All Force, Bulk Might, Real Might, Ideal Might and Brawl Might!
Yeah but then they would be endlessly compared to the real deal in a negative light while All Might was around so maybe that’s why?
I feel like more of these guys would come out after All Might retired.
Even Star is legally distinct from All Might.

I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult. It's possible that All Might's rep was so solid that any attempt to rip him off (either to ride off his popularity or make him look bad) would have been rejected.
All-Might was universally beloved to the point where no one else could measure up to him. I think it's only possible for someone to pull this off in the current climate of the Hero Academia Universe (mainly society getting it right up the butt).
One Strip! One Strip!Honestly, I hope You're Next doesn't have anything to do with All For One. This is set pre-War, All For One's got his own stuff he's working on. I'm thinking of Dark Might like an edgy anti-hero version of Star and Stripe, an All Might superfan trying to follow in his footsteps.
All for One is a guy who has plans within plans so it wouldn’t surprise me if he was involved.
That said, even if Dark Might is trying to be a good guy, it’s still the result of All for One exposing All Might’s weakness in their final fight.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.x7 That Ducktales 2017 episode is probably one of my favorites in the series; one of the major showrunners is a major Darkwing Duck fan, and it shows.
Plot twist, all the knockoffs are only active in China.
(Runs).
A dark loony fan of All Might? The new villain is obviously named Bat Might.
That title is so threatening
