From being hesitant to use his Left side, to accepting both sides of himself, and finally perfectly merging his two sides.

Mirrors perfectly his relationship with his parents.

Given his specific physiology though, it makes perfect sense.

Might be a dumb question, but is the reason Deku's dad is The Ghost the same reason with Pokemon, aka "Japanese work culture means dads are usually away from the house?"

I like how his right hair looks frosty like icicles and his left looks like fire.

My guess is probably set the teddy bear on fire just to be safe. As long as it doesn't have a bomb, any kind of excessively flammable material, or just some poison that's spread by heat on or in it, incinerating it would be the best option.

I'm seeing speculation that Dabi is getting ready to do a Prominence Burn because the sound effect around his heart is the same one used for Endeavor right before he did it to Hood.

Also, some rando is wondering how Dabi is even still alive, but we the audience know that his body actually tolerates extreme cold much better than the opposite, thanks to the mismatch of his Quirk and his physical constitution.

This chapter really made me feel how sad of a character Spinner actually is. This is a guy that looks to nutcases like Dabi and Toga with envy.

It is sad, isn't it? Even during MVA, when he decided that he'll be Shigaraki's hypeman, he can't succeed at even that; AFO's got reins over the entire PLF and Shigaraki was honestly barely conscious through the last month.

To someone who is completely dead inside like Spinner, having a goal in life - no matter how self-destructive or delusional it is, see Dabi and Toga respectively - is a goal in itself. Even now that he's become the face of PLF's metahuman revolution, you can tell he's not in it one hundred percent, so I hope that he'll have his moment to boost Shiggy or be boosted in return. Give us one last go of the Power of Friendship, LOV edition, Hori!

IIRC, Word of God on the matter is that Hisashi Midoriya works at an office branch that is out-of-country. So cultural reasons are less relevant in this case than the sheer distance of his workplace.

And given the current state of the country, I doubt entering the country would be possible unless his company does something related to disaster relief or the like.

So, as it stands, Jiro, Toru, and Koda are the only Class A kids we don't know the whereabouts off. Plus most of Class B along with Mirio and Shinso if he's participating in more ways that just brainwashing the Aoyamas.

Yeah. I was wondering about Shinso actually. Maybe they are saving him as a last second plan b.

Like, if AFO knows anything about him, Shinso might actually be a target.

Perhaps some of the missing student heroes are being kept at the school to defend it?

Also, probably worth noting: Kirshima mentioned having just gotten back from an escort mission, wonder what that's about?

Back then I noticed that the small moment between Ordinary Girl and Shoji might have been a seed to something about the hetermorph subplot during the war.

With Shoji front and center facing Spinner, looks like my observation might have been on the mark.

He even placed Koda on thar particular battlefield.

No celebration yet, as Hori can still chose to skip the plot, but I'm cautiously optimistic.

Right, that is Koda. Thanks for pointing that out. It makes sense he would be there too, given what's probably going to be the theme of that battlefront.

By the same reasoning, I expect Toru to still be with Aoyama and Fatgum.
