He did and he had some not so kind (read: dickish) things to say about his coworkers. But I think they're talking about the fact that he was hired for the relaunch at all being a symptom of this.

I agree with Indiana about how it's probably best to view each run on the series as being separate titles rather than trying to figure out how they fit into one continuity. That's how I handle some of the X-Men titles because they tend to be all over the place when it comes to portraying the characters' personalities and situations.

Problem is there's so much fucking early 1990's backwash that people who were in their 20's at the time are now running things and are going, "Wouldn't it be kewl if Superman fucked Wonder Woman instead of Lois? Or was more of a Smug Super?"
