Even if it does pass the senate it’s not getting past the House or Trump, still it’s good to make them out their money where their mouths are.
"And the Bunny nails it!" ~ Gabrael "If the UN can get through a day without everyone strangling everyone else so can we." ~ CyranHouse yes, Trump on the other hand is erratic enough that he might break with the party and sign it, I think.
Not that I expect him to do the right thing. Maybe if you phrase it as the WRONG thing to do, you might get somewhere.
Hopefully I'll feel confident to change my avatar off this scumbag soon. Apologies to any scumbags I insulted.More like phrase it as being good for him more so than not signing it.
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus. There's no way in hell Trump will sign it if it gets to him. If he gave a shit about NN he wouldn't have chosen Pai in the first place.
Disgusted, but not surprisedIt still may be possible to dupe him into signing it.
He's stupid enough for that.

"We learn from history that we do not learn from history."Well, the Senate just voted to overturn the FCC's decision 52-47. Now we just gotta make it through the House.
Sure and if it makes it through the House (spoiler: it won't) then Trump still needs to sign it.
As I said before the good part of this is that when it fails it can be used as ammunition against the Republicans come midterms.

"Sandwiches are probably easier to fix than the actual problems" -HylarnHuh. Besides Murkowski and Collins there was a third Republican who broke ranks named John Kennedy (R-LA). Never heard his name come up before.
Even if/when this attempt gets quashed, it may be possible to gum up the works long enough with it that the worst effects of the repeal can be stalled indefinitely. Considering all the fuckery surrounding the repeal, I have no compunctions about resorting to Bothering by the Book (I think that's the right trope) to fight back.
Plus yeah, ammunition for the midterms.

Hopefully I'll feel confident to change my avatar off this scumbag soon. Apologies to any scumbags I insulted.Considering the FCC already has a date for the repeal to go through, I wouldn't put money on it being stalled indefinitely.
To pity someone is to tell them "I feel bad about being better than you."... I was referring to the worst impacts of the repeal and not the thing itself, but yeah.
Hopefully I'll feel confident to change my avatar off this scumbag soon. Apologies to any scumbags I insulted.Noteworthy, I guess, because they're on opposite sides.

Also a shame it affects literally nothing whatsoever
To pity someone is to tell them "I feel bad about being better than you."Californi's net neutrality bill is expected to get a vote tomorrow.
Hopefully it passes and starts a domino effect.
Hopefully I'll feel confident to change my avatar off this scumbag soon. Apologies to any scumbags I insulted.Didn't it already pass weeks ago?
I thought so too, but the article is from today.
Hopefully I'll feel confident to change my avatar off this scumbag soon. Apologies to any scumbags I insulted.Trump is campaigning for net neutrality opponent Marsha Blackburn.
Trump is a Double Reverse Quadruple Agent trying to torpedo her plans to kill net neutrality?

Thankfully, her poll numbers are in the toilet.

Also, as the public learns more about this issue over time, the polls change, and that, somehow, changes what the Senators believe about this issue.
