Compared to almost all the rest of his party, he's been a saint.

Also, the embed is screwed up.

It's the Angry Joe Show on Net Neutrality.
Seems like we posted the video at the same time. Whoops.
Here's Angry Joe's rant on the matter to give you more insight into the situation and see what the FCC's try to do now. Although I'm peeved that he didn't mention or was aware of the fact the vote has to go to Congress on Thursday and thinks NN is officially dead. Do any of your videos buffer yet? Mine hasn't but I'm in the Phils.

I hope this won't get me censored or banned or arrested or anything under the new laws but there was a film released last week, The Last Jedi. The timing could not have come at a better time because hearing about the decision I can't help but think of this.

No, no it ain't. Remember from when we were discussing the election now so should be good were I want to embed something else.
Currently reading up My Rule Fu Is Stronger than YoursI'm pretty sure the Republicans are hoping the tax break will give the economy enough of a temporary boost that they can survive the midterms in 2018. They could be right about that. But all they are doing is setting themselves up for 2020. Since it's probably more important to win the White House than the midterms, I can live with that (although I regret the economc damage that's going to happen between now and then).
YOU can live through this but what about everyone else? Most middle-class are barely hanging on and are being overworked to death due to the economy being so bad for the past few decades.
It's a shame so many people are getting conned by the FCC and are ignoring everyone else who tells how bad the repeal is, people like the founders of the internet themselves. I guess that makes sense now that I think about it. People listen to what they WANT to hear instead of what they NEED to hear.

Pantheon server for all who click here. Freaking lost $410 and I am hunting down for a nuke to reign down. The thing is, contrary to many people's assumptions, the world doesn't always run on Gray-and-Grey Morality.
The democrats are not perfect and never will be; what they are is a common political party with common party problems. The Republican party, on the other hand, has become completely reactionary and spiteful and feels comfortable making millions suffer with their terrible legislation and ideology.
You can talk about individual people in the base or individual politicians, but institutionally and collectively, the two parties are in no way morally equivalent. You can think of it as Gray-and-Black Morality or whatever if you prefer, but it is what it is.

It's politics. It's a terrible waste, it's not the end of the world. People will suffer uneccessarily, but most people, and the nation, will survive and recover. Without Net Neutrality, we may end up paying somewhat more for access to less popular, more independent websites and apps, and content will become somewhat more centralized than it is now (which is to say that it will become somewhat less creative and more homogenized). Many small, independent start-up, who otherwise could have found customers on the internet, will not survive. But eventually we will make things right again. If we keep resisiting.
And don't forget that NN is just one aspect, and not the most important aspect, of the conservative agenda. We have a big fight on our hands. One we will eventually win. Stay strong.
More like a tiny group of idiots. 83% of Americans and 75% of Republicans are against the repeal. We just need 2 Republican defectors in the Senate to stop the repeal, and one of them sent a letter to the FCC to try to get them to cancel the vote. And do they really want to risk the mid terms by passing the repeal and Tax Bill back to back, especially after Alabama?

Do you guys ever get peeved when people start talking about how NN is dead even though the FCC have to go through Congress first and those same people don't even mention that or aren't spreading the awareness besides yelling abut how we're doomed?

Well, yeah. No shortage of that exact sentiment in this very thread.
I have disagreed with her a lot, but comparing her to republicans and propagandists of dictatorships is really low. - An idiotNames from popular anime are found in the fake comments: Naruto, Ash Ketchum, and Edward Eric.

Bloody hell.
Hopefully I'll feel confident to change my avatar off this scumbag soon. Apologies to any scumbags I insulted. That's just pathetic, whoever's responsible for these fake comments really needs to up their game.
"Sandwiches are probably easier to fix than the actual problems" -HylarnNo! Don't tell them! Right now it makes the lawsuits so much easier to argue. Let them flub it.
I was being facetious, but you're right that when your enemy is making a mistake you don't correct them
"Sandwiches are probably easier to fix than the actual problems" -HylarnIt's like that episode in the Twilight Zone where aliens are using people's fear to munipulate and control them
Is this year even worse than 2016 or not because we have a lot of good and bad shit running around

One, nice Daily Mail link. Two, the process of reforming klansmen doesn't exactly take an afternoon, and furthermore, if you watch the guy's Netflix documentary, one guy just cold threw him out of his house. So it's not a exactly a cure-all tactic.
I could go on and on about why the "if black people just had a friendly conversation with the people that want them dead, then everything would be okay!" line of thinking is incredibly naive at best, but that's a topic better suited for the race thread.
