For the most part this trope seems to be the same thing as Deconstruction and/or Wrong Genre Savvy.

From the Deconstruction trope page:

See also Reality Ensues for when this happens temporarily, usually for humor rather than deconstruction

Yet there is nothing which prevents a Deconstruction from being used for humor, nor does the description of Reality Ensues require it to be used for humor, nor is Reality Ensues required to be temporary. The Reality Ensues page also has no mention of being related to Deconstruction.

I've added a note to Reality Ensues to account for Deconstruction and Deconstructive Parody, but other than that I'm not seeing enough of a problem to make a full-scale repair effort on.
