Hmmm, interested. My first thought was something with a Viking theme but now I'm thinking more Finnish. The Finns were German allies but weren't so much pro-German as they were anti-Russian so it would be easy for someone to learn of the Nazi atrocities and get disgusted with who his country is fighting alongside. Of course, if there's a Russian on the team that would make for some interesting dynamics.

You could make him a German officer and/or Prussian noble who, while he loves his country sees Hitler as the ruination of it (as of course he ultimately was).

Your character can come from any country, being allied with the Germans doesn't matter as long your character isn't fighting for the Axis powers.

I'm willing to bet that your first thought clicking on this thread was something along the lines of "What the hell is this all about?". Well, that's what I'm here to answer. For those few of you who couldn't figure it out because of the title, this is an interest check for an RP inspired by early 1940s comic books. In a nutshell, your characters will be facing off against the Axis forcesNote and generally dealing with all sorts of insane schemes thought up by all sorts of villains. It should be noted that this RP is going to be mildly campy and fairly lighthearted, so don't expect grimdark anti-heroes to get accepted. If this is of interest to you, drop a post or PM me.
I apologize in advance for not having come up with a proper title for this RP yet since I lack the creative capacity to do so (feel free to leave a suggestion).
