Start of match* I did not come here to be Queen of the Ashes. Five minutes later* I AM FIRE I AM DEATHWell, I know Garrus has a rep as Best Bro but he's also loved by the ladies in a romantic way. My GF romanced him after Kaidan was a jerk to her.
One of the reason's Taiwan handled this pandemic somewhat better was because its leaders took it seriously due to suffering a lot of deaths from SARS.
And because they did not take the CCP at its word in the first few days. Taiwan's general rule of thumb is "don't take the CCP at face value".
Disgusted, but not surprisedNew Zealand also passed a lot of it's control off to scientists to direct them through the pandemic which is why they did REALLY well. They knew when politicians needed to step aside.
It also helps in the case of New Zealand that they are a literal island. It's much easier to stop the spread of disease when there are more limited means of travel between you and other nations.
Start of match* I did not come here to be Queen of the Ashes. Five minutes later* I AM FIRE I AM DEATHThe Mass Effect Legendary Edition devs have released a series of articles on the gameplay changes coming to Mass Effect 1.
I'm particularly excited for the improved reticle bloom and the godawful inventory system getting improved.
IGN also has a video comparing the graphics of vanilla Mass Effect 1 vs Legendary Edition 1, it's quite something.
The articles coupled with the video has seriously hyped me up for it, I was interested before but this looks amazing.

"Sandwiches are probably easier to fix than the actual problems" -HylarnOne of the graphical things that has aged really poorly in ME1 is that a lot of the towns are just empty spaces where NPCs stand around. The new couches and lights in Port Hanshan make it look a lot better while not being huge changes. It actually looks like a corporate building now.
THANK. FUCKING. GOD.
- All Junk items can be converted into Omni-gel or sold to merchants at once
- Inventory and stores now have sorting functionality
These are both very good to have.
Nice!!

Jeez, I picked the wrong Mass Effect 1 to play.
Trans rights are human rights. TV Tropes is not a place for bigotry, cruelty, or dickishness, no matter who or their position.Whoever thought it was a good idea to remove drops from the loot table after passing a certain level, I hope you changed your mind and were responsible for this.

Ha, definitely a redemption arc worth watching
"Sandwiches are probably easier to fix than the actual problems" -HylarnI must've played ME1 a dozen times, and I didn't even know that was a thing. The inventory system in that game was a mess and after a certain point everything starts to blur together, so I didn't even realize certain items quit dropping.
Me too, typically I'd just slap on the highest shield-bypassing ammo type and desperately ignore the inventory system.
"Sandwiches are probably easier to fix than the actual problems" -HylarnAlso agreed. And when I eventually replayed on PC, I just got out the console and gave myself what I needed and gladly deleted everything I encountered.
Does anyone know if the reissue will change the countdown that kicks in when you activate Legion? It always bugged me how activating him triggers the endgame and thus you can't use him for too many missions.

It doesn’t sound like they made all that many changes to 2. 1 got a full top-down overhaul, and 3 got reconfigured to disincorporate the multiplayer from the Galaxy at War metagame. 2 seems to have been mostly left alone outside of visual elements and a tweak to the map here or there.
They MIGHT have disconnected the companion recruitment order since, far as I'm aware, that was only a thing because of 360's two disk format. But I have doubts.
They did it because of technical limitations at the time, but it’s still baked into the game. I doubt they changed it.
I mean, a mere save editor lets you alter the mission order; the triggers are Mordin/Garrus/Grunt/Jack for Horizon, 5 missions after Horizon (and a certain number of squadmates recruited) for the Collector Ship (and therefore opening the dead Reaper), and 2 missions tops after the dead Reaper for the abduction and thus the Suicide Mission.
If it depended on me, I'd just have Mordin as a mandatory recruitment before Horizon, but Haestrom and Illium being open from the beggining would be nice.
(Just like I think having Tuchanka and Rannoch open from the beggining in 3 would be neat; side missions would open from the beggining, once you'd unlock the final Priority mission for that arc the other would remain locked until after you completed the first one and the Citadel coup).
1 did that quite well; 3 main missions, Virmire opening after 2 of them (but best being played after everything else), after those 4 missions, endgame ensues.
Legendary Edition has gone gold. Link also has a peak into the remastered version of a very good scene from the Citadel DLC.
So majestic.
"Sandwiches are probably easier to fix than the actual problems" -HylarnOh god I love it
I just hope they made it right
We don't need Cyberpunk 2077
But If they make it right I will buy this
I can't wait to play as Commander Shepard again
They're doing a lot of stuff on the marketing front for this, appealing to existing fans. Notably, a tool to make your own versions of the Legendary Edition Cover art. Take a look here: https://www.ea.com/games/mass-effect/mass-effect-legendary-edition/my-shepard-art-creator
That's pretty cool actually.
Not a joke: Polygon: Garrus body pillow case for sale on Bioware's store.
