I can't seem to connect to any servers whatsoever. Anyone else running into this?
Always love the DOSH.
Been thinking about getting KF 2, but apparently Steam Reviews aren't too good.
Any thoughts?
It's quite good, my main criticism is that the music is sort of mentally exhausting.
The negative reviews are mostly bitching about microtransactions (there are better things to be concerned about) and being generally impatient.
Though I do wish the game allowed for local hosting/private games, that's what it really needs. That, and the music is abysmal.

I figured that Steam was mostly salt.
I'm definitely going to pick the game up in the future.
So on my current list its
- Dark Souls 2
- Dark Souls 3
- GTAV
- KF 2
Make a killingsome DOSH on the Killing Floor, now launched.

Holdout mode announced. Sounds like a new wave-based mode with the gimmick of procedurally-generated rooms between the start and boss rooms.
According to a more recent update, they're pre-made rooms, what's variable in which ones you go through.

Dear me, their summer event zeds are legitimately very unsettling. I only really feel any discomfort from getting ambushed by the normal ones, but these, I rather not look at.
At least the circus Siren's screams are bearable.

The trailer did not convey how weird the HZ12 is: it's a shotgun with a pump action, detachable box magazine, and two barrels. Consequently, you can fire every odd-numbered shell then fire again almost immediately, but every time you fire and even-numbered shell there's a delay where your character pumps the shotgun to chamber another pair of shells.
It's a good gun for the support, a bit confusing yeah though. Sometimes I can shoot twice and other times it's a single shot.
Also I will agree that the Summer zeds look much more disturbing in this game.
Sounds like they based it off of the DP-12, kind of like how the HSG from the previous game was based off of the KSG.
"Hipsters: the most dangerous gang in the US." - Pacific MackerelI've found the Weekly Outbreaks a mixed bag (Poundemonium was especially difficult in an unfun way), but perpetual Zed time is freaking awesome.
I could only beat it solo with Zerker. I missed the Pound one.
It's the only one I've bothered to beat multiple times—twice as Support, and once each as Berserker, Commando, Gunslinger, and SWAT. I also got really close as Sharpshooter (would have killed the Patriarch before his first heal if I got a few more shots).
I should note I'm doing all of these as solo level 25. Weekly Outbreaks are always Suicidal level, sometimes even functionally harder, and I find Suicidal missions on teams have way too low a success rate (especially compared to the time everything takes). However, I like this mode enough to keep playing it after beating it, so I'll probably try it on a team before it ends.
