The Executioner Gloves were worth every penny.

I got the Blades of Mercy, and have been working on getting it powered up.

I am about to get the DLC - I figure the main game is just about done.

I've been doing some shared dungeons as well - the first one I did was pretty good, the second one...well, the first layer and second layer was great, but the third layer was absolutely infested with instant kill Pthumerian Witches who are absolutely maddening to fight.

I've fought the Watchdog of the Old Lords like two or three times by now, enough to start feeling sorry for it as I break its legs repeatedly and force it to the ground over and over. Sorry, Best Pthumerian Boy.

Got several more level ups and a lot of materials out of this. I cannot figure out why anyone would do this differently - the shared dungeons are 99% of the time really great.

People make their own dungeons in hopes of getting something cool or unique. There is a whole sub reddit dedicated to sharing glyphs for dungeons that have guaranteed Blood Rocks, rare enemies, roaming bosses etc.

Also, lucky you. That Fucking Fuck of Fuckhurtz wanted to keep doing nothing but shoot at me every time I tried to heal and dodged all of my Augurs. Killed him eventually.

BTW, have you found the Haze Extractor? If not, you should. It'll be essential for getting decent amounts of Arcane Haze and gives low tier junk materials a better use than being sold for Echoes.

Conversely to Ebrietas, the Bloody Crow is probably the MOST fun I had dying repeatedly. Good on you for taking him out in one!

[up][up] As far as dungeons, I found a Hintertombs Dungeon and did not like it so much because I loath the Hintertombs for those horrifying Madmen. Sure I one hit them now.

Doesn't mean I like a horrid thing running shrieking at me.

Then I went on and found a very lovely Central Pthumeru Labyrinth - Layer 1 was Cannon Undead Giant, and then immediately afterwards I went out to Layer 2 and saw the Cannon Giant snoozing just outside the door. Being the mean man I am, I promptly two shot him.

Then I got the most hilarious thing ever. A Beast Possessed Soul fighting a ladder. This enemy was in a little pit area, and could not make it up the ladder. So I readied my Executioner's Gloves and killed him just as he got to the top of the ladder.

As for the Blood Crow of Painhurst, Visions of Executioner's Gloves and then try attacking.

And yes I got the Haze Extractor.

I swear these dungeons are the most fun I've ever had.

...Except that one full of Fireball Witches. Fuck that noise.

OK, that Beast Possesed Soul sounds funny. You should set that dungeon to shared and post the glyph. Though be aware that Chalices you remove will delete any cool/hilarious dungeons you have discovered.

There is a community online that likes to hunt for chalices that are out of the ordinary.

Yeah I'll post that one and share it - no way am I gonna lose out on that awesomely hilarious interaction. Thing is, there's a Snatcher walking around in a circle around that pit, so the Snatcher more or less constantly makes the Beast Possessed Soul aggro, but he can't make it out.

I think it goes Cannon Giant for Layer 1, Beast Possessed Soul for Layer 2 (ironically enough) and poor old Watchdog of the Old Lords for Layer 3. You poor old dog, I always feel like I'm putting down Fire Yeller now whenever I kill this thing.

I am gonna post the glyph and such on Instagram as well as on here so you guys can enjoy the hilarity of Beast Possessed Soul vs. Ladder.

Okay finally got on the game and here's the Glyph y9q3sit2.

Enjoy yourselves.

I'm doing another Chalice, which had a Tomb Prospector Hunter oddly enough despite not apparently being Rotten.

Shame I need PS+ to use glyphs.

I'll see if I can do something about that.

Did some diving into False Depth Chalices to get higher grade Gems, now I'm stocked up on physical gems, just gotta find good Fire, Arcane and Bolt Gems.

Cold Abyssals would be nice.

I needless to say beat Martyr Logarius in one try, and got to the top of Cainhurst.

I swear those same flame sword knights I killed for Cursed Tempering Gems also give like 25000 Blood Echoes, so they're super good to farm.

False Depth?

Sounds like a language difference. Do mean Root Chalices, or talking about Rites?

Its a thing where some players like Zullie the Witch have put together dungeons that say they're Pthumerian (the first dungeon you can get) but have enemies with health pools, drops and such that are more akin to a far later Chalice.

With these sorts of resources, I suppose it's natural the bosses are starting to fold like wet paper.

Just got done with Lower Hintertombs, and I do not intend to EVER do another Hintertombs Chalice.

Despite the Quick Search on Chalices giving me nothing but Lower Hintertombs.

...Fucking Madman enemies.

The searches only give the types of chalices you have made. This is to prevent players from just skipping to the final ones without ever touching the first Pthumeru.

And many commonly skip the Hintertombs unless they want the Madman's Attire or just to clear every chalice (me).

Yeah, the problem now though is that the quick search is only ever pulling up Lower Hintertombs and Fetid Lower Hintertombs. I'd rather not go back to those poison filled wastelands full of shrieking madmen thank you very much.

The lighting is another issue, which makes the Hintertombs really not my favorite place to be.

Just make some deeper chalices yourself. Central or Lower Pthumeru, Ailing Loran, Izs...

Yeah, I've decided to go beyond Level 155, and I've beaten the Lower Pthumeru after struggling hard on Rom. Ultimately I decided to fight fire with fire - if he wants to nuke me with meteors, I'll return the favor with A Call Beyond.

The Bloodletting Beast was downright thrilling to fight. A few almost deaths, but I ended the fight with 5 Vials or so. I loved that fucking fight.

Beat Amygdala pretty easily - it started its laser attack at the start of the fight, but A Call Beyond cancelled it and put it into stagger. The rest of the battle went "Amygdala tries to do something, but Nick nukes it harder".

Then I fought my way through the Ailing Loran, which I like a deal better than Hintertombs, especially with the lightning and fire aesthetics and enemy types. Sure there are still Madmen, but in the better lighting they're much less terrifying.

I am not looking forward to doing the Cursed Chalice.

Something like Level 250 or so.

High rewards at low difficulty, I believe.

False Depths: High Difficulty and High Power Enemies in Pthumeru Chalices, when they were supposed to be in Isz or Ihyll Dungeons. High risk, high reward, early on no less. Watch a Dangitjm video for a really good one.

Reverse Depth: The exact inverse - enemies are easy, so are bosses...but the rewards for beating a boss are on the level of Depth 5 Dungeons. So you can get Bloodstone Chunks or Blood Rocks for one shotting Watchers or Maneater Boars.

I'm waiting on Blood Gem Edited Dungeons, where the enemies are easy but drop super cursed Blood Gems.
