You come at the king, you'd best not miss.

"The most remarkable feature of this breathing technique is the exquisitely fine control over space and time required to keep an opponent frozen in motion yet also have it explode in torrents of gore upon impact."

Followed later by: "Hrmm… Reckon that Time isn’t actually frozen. See all those little vapor trails he’s leaving? He’s moving so fast he’s condensing the moisture in the air around him. Figure him being at or near sea-level makes it even harder to generate contrails, cuz of the temperature and density of the air."

I love the comment section of this webcomic. Though I will note that if SD is simply moving very fast, then his brain and awareness have sped up proportionally, which is functionally equivalent to slowing down time.

I wonder if he went after the guys who said "Fuck this!" and were in the process of leaving.

M-M-M-M-MONSTER KILL-LL-LL!!!

I was anticipating some kind of razor wind attack, but this is even more ridiculous. And unless White Chain has some way to attain similarly absurd speed they are hopelessly outmatched.

Depends on whether SD can teleport into and out of the void like WC can. Doesnt matter how fast you are if your target is immaterial.

White Chain is going to fight the physical incarnation of The Man.

Let's hope she sticks it to him.

Well that answers my earlier question.

Not a drop of blood on them.

Am I the only one who thinks WC can pull this off?

They're in jail? How does that sense? (In universe, I understand the narrative purpose)

Accomplices to an attempted prison break.

What's precedent ever done for us?

And despite all of Solomon's paperwork, at the end of the day he is the law, and what he says goes. He wants to turn his tournament into a Battle Royale? Done. He wants to kill everyone in said Battle Royale? Done. He wants to imprison two of the fighters? Done.

I would have liked to see the how. After all, Allison in her human state is probably tough enough to handle Solomon's guards, let alone her entire gang, less WC.

However, that said, WC has this.

I'm guessing White Chain is being allowed some sort of rest period.

On the nature of Strength.

Incubus continues to show why he is a poor swordsman. He is so wrapped up in killing that the sword itself and the act of cutting is an afterthought.

Well, this is going to stir up a hornet's nest, and no mistake. The Demiurges may have felt that they could ignore Allison because she is too weak to use the key, but this is going to change some minds. It will probably interrupt WC and SD's duel. Pity, I wanted to see what wish WC would have come up with.
