Claudius Jade: A quiet man of simple, spartan taste who preferred to keep to his books and studies rather than spend hours out on the hunt, even if his profession said he must. He hunted out of necessity, not because he wanted to, for Claudius abhorred violence, even against the Grimm. "Fighting is not my style." He would say and shut the door in the face of those who asked, save a select few, who could entertain his fancy and could interest him in hunts for longer than a few seconds. Even so, he spent more time studying up on his family's shared semblance and how he could utilize it better, he wanted to know its origins, wanted to know why it was that all in the Jade family were born with it, and why them? Perhaps he might have found answers to his questions, perhaps not, that mattered little, when the Behe-Mammoth appeared. Bigger than any Grimm seen before or hence, it threatened to smash apart city after city on Remnant, tearing asunder all that stood in its path. Dozens and Dozens of Hunters and Huntresses had tried to slay the beast, those who did not return in body bags, or didn't return at all, could only speak in hushed whispers of the horrific beast. Until one day, it vanished, and so too, did Claudius. The Search Party found a massive crater miles from the Behe-Mammoth's last known location, deep gouges in the earth ran amok, up the sides of the crater and across the bottom, it was as if the entire area had been slashed to ribbons by some wild and frenzied animal. At the bottom of the crater lie Claudius, beaten, broken, bleeding. Dead. What was left of the Behe-Mammoth lined the floor and walls of the crater, midst buckets and buckets of greenish blood, all suspected to have come from Claudius. When the Search Party returned, Claudius was named Hero, a Legend, and a Savior.

He was never revealed to have been a Faunus.

Oh, and here's the layout for the Dorm Building.

Dorm Rose

• One of the newest dorms in Beacon Academy. It is a lavishly decorated, three-storey building.

• The ground floor houses the living room, complete with Holoprojector, the kitche and the dining room.

• The second floor houses the game room, complete with state of the art consoles like the Ybox, and the Gamestation. It also houses the gym/training room....and the indoor pool.

• The third floor houses the rooms. There are six in all. The farthest on the left is vacant. Thanks to Seth's lockpicking skills, it's now used as a private place to use as a sort of meeting room. Or to snog each other. Your choice. The middle left is for team BLAD. The room on the left nearest to the stairs is for Team DRKR. The farthest right is for Team COGS. The middle right is for Team JUMP. The nearest righ is for Team CRGS.

So if I'm reading this right, the building is like a large rectangle, so that on the third floor, all six rooms are in a straight line with a staircase in the center? Or is it a 3x2 grid?

Everyone is fine with Ieria sleeping directly next to the window no matter what right? Right. Good.

Also, Grim, was the Claudius thing to your liking? *totally not fishing for compliments*

Also, can there be a dance area as part of the gym/training area for the Dance Room miniplot/RunningGag I suggested earlier? Or will that be part of the greater Beacon area?

The ballroom is in the main building.

Realized now that Ieria would likely have been VERY banged up from taking a Kaijin's knee to her...entire body really. So I think I'm going to have her body be a bit worse for wear.

@Grim: No, not like that. I mean like a dance rehearsal room, the kind filled with large mirrors so that groups can follow the leader's movements, and to serve the purpose of the Dance Room gag. Is that going be in the gym/training area, or in the greater Beacon building?

Considering he and the other initiates went survived dealing with a creature that required all of Beacon's available firepower AFTER dealing with something that is heavily associated with the end of the world in his culture? Let's just say he wonders how Beacon managed to stick around for so long and become so famed being led by someone with the perceived competency of a pebble playing tennis.
