While the Prologue, which I just watched btw, and can be found here., makes it seem like man was born into a world full of Grimm, it also states that man was born from Dust. Which likely means Humans and Faunus. However, while I'm not totally adverse to a Precursor race, I am adverse to making them sound like a Sue race.

Again Solus. Kurira and Behe-Mammoth. That alone is a huge departure from canon, and I literally mean huge.
Sadly Aquatica, yes you have

I've got new mythological machinery, and very handsome supernatural scenery. Goodfae: a mafia web serialI seriously think we should let Kurira be our one and only huge departure.
PM box is Closed, Indefinitely Friend Code: 3368-4181-6850@Azure: Like I said, they're not a Sue race. They're just heavily romanticized on account of being legend. They are expies of Atlanteans.
I've got new mythological machinery, and very handsome supernatural scenery. Goodfae: a mafia web serialAlso, the RP is still super duper fast moving. Just saying. :P
Christ, I'm sorry I made Claudius and Behe-Mammoth now. :c
"I am nature's weapon. You are unfit to carry on your species, and I shall ensure that you do not do so!" - Charles Darwin, XCOM SniperWell considering how (relatively) casually we introduced Kaiju tier Grimm like Kurira and Behe-Mammoth, who along with Claudius rightfully elevate top tier Grimm and Hunters from destroying buildings to entire cities, I just don't see how this is any more drastic a change than that. Just saying, guys.
I've got new mythological machinery, and very handsome supernatural scenery. Goodfae: a mafia web serial@Romanian: Don't be, I like Behe-Mammoth
I've got new mythological machinery, and very handsome supernatural scenery. Goodfae: a mafia web serialRomanian, you wanna post soon? I'm already staying up later than planned. :/
Oh sure, sorry, I just got home from work.
And the thing about Claudius was that he essentially committed suicide when he killed the Behe-Mammoth. So yeah he wiped out a large scale area, but he had kill himself in the process.
"I am nature's weapon. You are unfit to carry on your species, and I shall ensure that you do not do so!" - Charles Darwin, XCOM Sniper@KSPAM:Okay see you can say that.
Buuuut.
It doesn't change the words in that post. I would not know it was suppsoed to be romanticized until you told me just now.
Grim has the final say on this anyway so its up to him to decide.
@Eventua:I'm sorry, but there are a bunch of other players who want to play the game and have fun with it on their own time. Complaining that game is fast is like telling everyone you want them to slow down simply for your sake. And you have already said that you can't even be here much.

PM box is Closed, Indefinitely Friend Code: 3368-4181-6850Still though. And I'm not saying I dislike any of these ideas. I love them. Which is why I wish we could be even more creative. RWBY only has one season worth of canon-material to base an RP off of, and it 's still ongoing. Sticking directly to canon constrains us to using very little material, and trying to predict where canon is gonna go is... an impossible task.
Plus, we might be giving Monty ideas. We need to be as creative as possible!
I totally understand, Azure. I tend to be a bit... flowery sometimes. My explanations of things can almost be as vague as Nasu's sometimes >.>

I've got new mythological machinery, and very handsome supernatural scenery. Goodfae: a mafia web serialY'see, this is why I was a bit upset that she got outed as a Faunus so quickly, because then potentially funny situations like what could have happened here can't anymore.
"...Ieria, you have scales..?"
"I am nature's weapon. You are unfit to carry on your species, and I shall ensure that you do not do so!" - Charles Darwin, XCOM Sniper
Here's the other thing, dude, Kurira and Behe-mammoth were introduced anything but casually. Kurira's the first thing the characters have had to flee, and it's currently in a sort of Walpurgisnacht-like state of being more like a force of nature driving certain plot elements than a thing thrown in just because.
Sorry man. ):
Also! Why is it that Urujauni is slowly being shipped with everyone else?
All of her team-mates, Raqib, Jack, the Kaijin...
Oh those types of situations can still happen. Medus is totally gonna ask to touch her scales at some point. He first just has to recover enough that he won't go back to the hospital if she beats him up for asking.
Edit: She hasn't been shipped with Medus yet, which is surprising given how he saved her and she was impressed by his music

-dramatic music ensues-Ain't your fault, it just happened one post, then suddenly it was common knowledge. :(
And I haven't shipped her and Ieria together yet...wait, the Kaijin?
"I am nature's weapon. You are unfit to carry on your species, and I shall ensure that you do not do so!" - Charles Darwin, XCOM SniperJack isn't aware of her being a Faunus,
Good to be backDang it, I just created Urujauni - Medus and Urujauni - Kaijin.
"Casually" here meaning "met with acceptance instead of discussion thread shitstorm", Taco. And what made you think this was something thrown in "just because"?
I've got new mythological machinery, and very handsome supernatural scenery. Goodfae: a mafia web serialthe fact that it has absolutely no relevance to the current plot?
@Troy: True... hmm, well there's still some room, I guess.
"I am nature's weapon. You are unfit to carry on your species, and I shall ensure that you do not do so!" - Charles Darwin, XCOM SniperAnd with this, I go to bed.
Here we go again. Just because its an AU doesn't mean we should fuck with the history.
Small changes related to characters is fine,
The other countries being filled was probably a necessary evil
But I think we should avoid fucking with things more than we have to.
