  • Name: Dante
  • Age: n/a (Seems to be in his 30s)
  • Universe: Devil May Cry
  • Personality: Dante is the kind of guy that would get laughed out of a bar if he ever went to Britain. With his white hair and red jacket. It would be great if we redesigned him! No, not really. Dante is a guy with a clean sense of humor. Before Dante was a mouthy kid who 'knew' he was better than everyone else and showed it. As the story goes on, he matures but never really loses that attitude of his. This is a guy that shows no fear. He shows off, he has over-the-top moves. One thing that drives his character is having a good-time, to have fun when he can despite the dreary atmosphere. He may seem uncaring, even callous, but Dante has a strong sense of justice and prefers to fight fairly.
  • Personal Appearance: Devil Hunter in the flesh, Devil Trigger
  • Powers/Abilities:
    • Adept Combatant: Dante is extremely proficient with any type of weapon he carries as he easily masters them within moments of picking them up.
    • Unarmed Combat: Adept at hand-to-hand combat. This is shown when he easily disarmed Nero. Plus if you count in the use of Devil Arms like Beowulf (which are gauntlets), his proficiency is also displayed there.
    • Impeccable Aim: Has ridiculous aim with any gun that he carries.
    • Super Strength: Shown to be able to shatter stone with an easy punch.
    • Super Speed: Dante is capable of moving at blurring speeds in short distances (almost like he's teleporting). He can also dodge bullets fired at close range.
    • Resistance to Pain: Dante has ridiculous pain tolerance. He's survived from getting impaled and sustaining any major injury. He sat on the flaming Belial's tail without being damaged so there's that.
    • Demonic Infusion: Dante seems to be able to infuse any weapon he carries with demonic energy which results in giving his guns infinite ammo.
    • Devil Trigger: A demonic transformation that is allowed because of Dante's Half-Demon heritage. While in this form, Dante's strength and speed increase as well as giving him slow regeneration. While in this form, he is also able to fly.
  • Equipment:
    • Rebellion:A magical blade that is a keepsake to Dante from his father Sparda and it serves as a 'physical manifestation' of Dante's power. It is a massive broadsword with a doubled-edged blade. While he's not on the job, Dante will carry the sword in a guitar case big enough to carry it.
    • Ebony & Ivory: Dante's personal customized, semi-automatic pistols. They're primarily designed to rapidly fire bullets instilled with his demonic power. Ivory is primarily used for rapid firing and fast draw. The sister gun, Ebony, was modified for long-distance targeting and comfort.
    • Coyote-A: A hunting firearm customized for combat against demons. It's a shotgun that works with a 'burst fire'. The gun is only effective at a close range.
    • Nevan: The guitar Devil Arm that Dante obtained from fighting the demon with the same name during the events of Devil May Cry 3. While playing this instrument, it allows Dante to utilize the power of electricity while bloodthirsty bats swirl around to attack nearby enemies. This only lasts as long as Dante is playing the guitar-like weapon.
  • Alignment: White
  • Backstory: Dante is the second son of the demon Sparda and the human Eva. He has another twin brother that goes by the name of Vergil. Years before he became the "prestigious" Devil Hunter that he is now, Dante ended up in a quarrel with his brother Vergil that ended with the resurrection of the powerful demon that brought the two together for one last fight (on the same side, that is). Afterward the two had one last fight in the demon realm where Dante was the victor. Years down the line he would visit a mansion island where he would meet his father's past enemy known as the Demon King Mundus. After THAT quarrel, he met a woman named Trish. This is around the time that Dante's 'business' actually started doing something. Around this time the events concerning the Order of the Sword take place which is, of course, a religious order that worshiped Dante's father. After that fiasco, Dante entrusted his brother's blade Yamato to the newcomer Nero and went along his way. This is around the time he answered the 'call' to be summoned into the Ipsum.

Okay, let's see.

@Chrona & Ragnarok: You might want to fix that link. Also, you committed a grave insult of defining Chrona's gender for which I forbid you entering this RP although I suppose it helps with identifying it. In any case, accepted. Welcome aboard.

@Dante: I'm a bit cautious, but I guess there's nothing wrong with him. Welcome aboard.

@Luke: You're most welcome to make another character sheet, although Eggman might have a bit of a hard time around here. It's not like the man himself is combat-capable.
Also, we might be starting soon now that we've gathered eight+ characters for two teams to create. I think we should be set somewhere around tomorrow afternoon(by my standards, at least), so for now let me ask you a question: do you want those teams to be chosen randomly or do you wish to customize them? If you're partial to the latter, contact with yourself about it either here or via PM's.

  • Name: Joseph Joestar (alias "JoJo")
  • Age: 18
  • Universe: JoJos Bizarre Adventure, circa Battle Tendencynote
  • Personality: Brash and confrontational, Joseph says what he means and means what he says. He has a silly streak but this hides a sharp and savvy mind. One of his enduring traits is his courage and desire to stand up for his allies and those he believes in. He holds a strong dislike for those he sees as arrogant. One of his hobbies is collecting comic books.
  • Personal Appearance: Your next line will be... "Powers/Abilities!"
  • Powers/Abilities:
    • Hamon: Hamon is an ancient martial art. Using special breathing techniques and the power of the sun, the Hamon user can enhance his body and his strikes (he can control where the Hamon goes). Hamon is especially effective against vampires and zombies, though if it strikes a normal human being they'll feel pins and needles before fainting. Hamon can also affect inanimate objects, making them more dangerous; it's important to note however that Hamon is better conducted by certain materials (especially liquids and oil) than others (like solids). It also works better if concentrated into smaller points. As a Hamon user, Joseph can use his skills to walk on water or climb up an oil slicked pillar.

However, Hamon has its weaknesses. Since it relies upon breathing techniques, if Joseph is unable to breathe he is entirely unable to use Hamon. If he is weakened, this too will aversely affect his ability to use Hamon. And finally, the colder he is the weaker the Hamon will be (as his blood will be moving more slowly and he too will be forced to attack less frequently and more slowly).

The following abilities are various special attacks that Joseph can perform with Hamon.

  • Hamon Hair Attack: Infusing hair with Hamon energy, Joseph can make it hard enough to deflect bullets.
  • Overdrive: Joseph sends a great pulse of Hamon into the target, doing damage (this pulse can be transmitted through objects).
  • Rebuff Overdrive: Charging Hamon into his elbows, Joseph smacks the target violently with them.
  • Zoom Punch: By using Hamon, Joseph can extend his arm and hit an enemy at longer range.[[note]]We're not talking about very long distances here - it just extends his reach a bit
  • Hamon Overdrive: Channeling Hamon into his arm, Joseph delivers a potent chop that (if it connects) lets the Hamon travel up the opponent's arm and blow up. However, for balancing purposes, I'm going to make it so that instead it does significant damage (since it'd be kind of unfair for a character's arm to be blown off).
  • Hamon Beat: A chop attack with the hand, but this time the Hamon is concentrated in the hand rather than the arm (it's just a regular Hamon infused blow AFAIK).
  • Clacker Volley: By throwing clackers charged with Hamon at the opponent, Joseph can puncture their skin and send Hamon inside, doing greater damage than normal. The clackers can be thrown any number of ways, though Joseph prefers to swing them from behind his back at his enemy in an attempt to stop them from dodging.
  • Clacker Boomerang: Joseph throws both clackers at the enemy. One pair is simply meant to distract them, sailing harmlessly past to strike a pillar or other object. However, the first pair "catches" the second set of clackers and slingshots them around to hit the opponent from behind. For obvious reasons it's situational as hell.
  • Secret Technique: The ultimate technique in Joseph's arsenal, he uses this only when the tide of battle has decisively turned against from him. It's running away.
  • Motorcycle Riding: Joseph can ride a motorcycle. Good for him, I guess...?
  • Piloting: Joseph knows how to fly an aeroplane, though he's not very good at it - anyone flying the friendly skies with him should be braced for a hard landing.
  • Shooting: As it turns out, Joseph is actually pretty handy with a gun... but he'd need to find one first, and it's unlikely that he'd find a Tommy gun just lying around.
  • Equipment:
    • Clackers: Two pairs of clackers with the letter "J" on them. By themselves they're not very impressive, but when they are infused with Hamon they become lethal weapons.
  • Alignment: White
  • Backstory: A young man living in New York with his grandmother, Joseph is spurred to go to Mexico after learning of Speedwagon's (a family friend) untimely death. It is there that he stumbles upon a Nazi lab which has accidentally released Santana, a being known as a Pillar Man: far faster, stronger, and smarter than a normal human being in all respects, and possessing weird abilities to boot. With the help of Stroheim (the man in charge of the lab) and a very much alive Speedwagon, Santana is ultimately defeated.

In order to learn how to use Hamon better, Joseph is sent to Rome and meets Caesar Zeppeli (the descendent of Will A. Zeppelli, who helped Joseph's grandfather, Jonathan, defeat the evil vampire Dio Brando). Their relationship gets off to a rocky start, but after they go under the Roman Collosseum they stumble upon another Nazi experiment which has awoken three other Pillar Men: ACDC, Wham, and Cars. The duo are beaten soundlynote  and retreat to Venice to lick their wounds and improve their Hamon under the Hamon master Lisa Lisa.

They finally learn the motivation of the Pillar Men: to use the Red Stone of Aja to become perfect lifeforms and finally overcome their weakness to the sun. Joseph's training is interrupted at the last hurdle, however, by ACDC, who learned of Lisa Lisa's possession of the Red Stone of Aja. Joseph barely kills him after a tense battle, but not before ACDC sends the Red Stone to Switzerland via postal train.

In Switzerland Joseph is reunited with a cybernetically altered Stroheim, and they face off against Cars - however, Cars' Light Mode proves too much for even the new and improved Stroheim and he is disembowled (thankfully without killing him). The brief tussle between Joseph and Cars proves inconclusive, but he, Lisa Lisa and Caesar learn of where the two other Pillar Men are hiding. Rashly, Caesar runs into an abandoned mansion to fight Wham, only to be killed by the Pillar Man's Holy Sandstorm.

Pursuing the Pillar Man despite his grief, Joseph is forced to make a deal with Wham and Cars: he will fight Wham (and Lisa Lisa will fight Cars) for possession of the Red Stone of Aja. After defeating Wham in a colosseum (and taking the antidote for the remaining ring), Joseph is shocked by Cars's treachery as he strikes down Lisa Lisa (who barely hangs on to life).

The pair fight, and all seems lost until a newly rebuilt Stroheim - at the head of a group of soldiers with UV lights - and Speedwagon with his Speedwagon Foundation help even the odds. The UV light seems to kill Cars and his followers, but it turns out that he has put on the Stone Mask with the Red Stone of Aja in it, transforming him into the Ultimate Lifeform.

Forced to flee by plane, Joseph hits Cars with the aircraft as it plunges into a volcano. However, even this is not enough to stop him and Joseph loses an arm to the Pillar Man. With sneaky use of the Red Stone of Aja, Joseph forces the volcano to erupt, sending Cars into space and leaving Joseph to an uncertain fate...

He turns up weeks later with a prosthetic arm (courtesy of Stroheim) to crash his own funeral, having been treated by one of Lisa Lisa's assistants, Suzy Q. (who is now his wife). Suzy had forgotten to telegram his family and friends about his survival, but that was of little consequence.

A month on, he was approached by the man of Ipsum. His heart already yearning for action and the chance to do good, Joseph accepted in a heartbeat. It looked like JoJo would be going on another bizarre adventure...

  • Other: One of Joseph's trademark quirks is predicting what someone else is about to say, usually to psych them out. However, since this is an RP, such shenanigans would only be happening with co-ordination between myself and the other party. I was considering giving him a tommy gun, but considering all his other abilities it felt like it might be overkill. He's also something of a womaniser, though hopefully his marriage will reign him in. tongue

Hopefully that's fine!

Awesome!

Feel free to put him into whichever group you think would give him the most opportunities to play off the other characters; I think this sort of character works best when he can rebound off of others' reactions.

Also, it was oddly hard figuring out which quote to use as the link to his appearance image... I was considering going with "What did you say? Depending on your answer I might have to kick your ass!" or "Oh no! 'Hard work' is my least favourite phrase, and 'work hard' is my second!".

...

I pity the group that ends up with him in it, even if they do get a +5 to fabulousness. tongue

Two sheets. Help me decide!

  • Name: Princess Unikitty
  • Age: Rainbows! AKA Unknown
  • Universe: The Lego Movie
  • Personality: Uni-Kitty is a happy-going spirit (lover of all things pretty and imaginative), a benevolent princess beloved by her people, and thus susceptible to strong emotions. She feels so strongly for her friends that anything that happens to them affects her as well. Because of this, she sometimes has a hard time controlling her emotions to "stay positive", often looking for a non-violent way to solve her problems. But, when it comes to protecting those she cares about from those doing harm to them, she does not hold back. At all. Seriously, you do not want to see her angry.
  • Personal Appearance: Welcome to my kingdom of imagination!
  • Powers/Abilities:
    • Master Builder: Give Unikitty some time to think, and she can create the most unusual contraptions from things laying around. Of course, she can't create an atomic bomb from a paperclip and some gum or make a grappling hook from a trash can lid, that's just impossible- it all depends on the materials available to her and the knowledge she has. Don't worry, though, there's (almost) nothing the power of imagination can't do!
    • Cute Kitty!: Just look at that face. Don't you want to hug it?
    • Angry Kitty!: When Unikitty gets angry- and we're talking really, really angry- she can let out all her pent-up anger by going on rage-fueled rampages, munching through anything on her way.
  • Equipment: She has an astronaut suit and a business suit. Yaaaay!
  • Alignment: White, if by white you mean 'multicolor goodness!'
  • Backstory: Unikitty is the Princess of Cloud Cuckoo Land, a giant secret paradise in the sky for Master Builders to let their imagination free, away from the evil claws of the giant Lord Business. That was when she met Emmet, the little blocky man who they thought was the Special, but who ended up being just a nobody... a nobody who brought Lord Business right to their foosteps! After Cloud Cuckoo Land was destroyed, Unikitty helped Emmet in the fight against Lord Business, eventually joining by his side when the villain had a change of heart. She has rebuilt Cloud Cuckoo Land and after hearing the Man of Ipsum's request, she jumped into action, ready to defend this new world!
  • Other: Unikitty will not be LEGO-sized in the RP. She will be human-sized, although she'll still be a LEGO figure. Which means one could try to melt her, or wipe away her features with nail polish... also, her ability to build things will not be abused, and she'll at first see if she can build something, so the GM can say if it works or not.

And the second sheet.

  • Name: Kurt Wagner AKA Nightcrawler
  • Age: 20
  • Universe: Marvel verse.
  • Personality: Kurt is a devout Christian, and he is quite vocal about his faith, often preaching the word of peace, love and equality among men and women, no matter who they are or what they choose to do, as long as they don't hurt or limit the freedom of others. But that doesn't mean he is a quiet, calm man, oh no. Kurt is definitely a joker, a whistling, smiling joker who loves a practical prank or some friendly teasing. He is also quite a fan of swashbuckling fiction, often going on about his dreams of being a pirate.
  • Personal Appearance: "Since I look like a demon... sometimes I feel the urge to play the part." (to those wondering, his skin is covered in blue fur)
  • Powers/Abilities:
    • Teleportation: Kurt has the ability to teleport himself, his clothing, and a certain amount of additional mass from one point to another virtually instantaneously. He does this by means of displacing himself through an alternate dimension briefly and reappearing in a desired, pre-selected location. He has been shown to be able to teleport distances of up to two miles under optimal conditions, although this is usually his extreme limit, and he can become severely fatigued if he tries to teleport that distance. He usually has problems teleporting to places he does not know, as he can't visualize the pre-selected location. He possesses a limited unconscious extrasensory "spatial awareness" ability which prevents him from teleporting into solid objects within his immediate vicinity, but this ability diminishes the greater the distance he teleports. Because teleporting into other solid matter would cause severe injury or death, he will only teleport to an area he is familiar with or that he can clearly see at the time or has seen in the past. His power automatically displaces liquids and gases when he arrives. The act of teleporting, while harmless to him, is quite... straining on any additional passengers. After Kurt teleports, he leaves behind smoke and a faint scent of burning brimstone; this is a small portion of the atmosphere of the dimension he travels through when he teleports. His teleportation power is due to a biophysical/biochemical reaction he consciously triggers within himself. A loud "bamf" noise is always present whenever he teleports (being the sound of air rushing to fill the space he was just occupying).
    • Unique Physiology: Kurt's body is unique in several different ways. His agility far surpasses that of an Olympic-level gymnast, and his bone structure allows him great flexibility. His spine is more flexible than an ordinary human, enabling him to remain in a crouched position for a long time and perform contortionist-type feats without causing any damage to his spine. Kurt's balance and bodily coordination are all enhanced to superhuman levels. He has the ability to cling to surfaces through microscopic suction cups located on the pads of his hands and feet. He also possesses superhuman dexterity, being able to manipulate items and fence with either hand, both feet, and his tail. Kurt has a prehensile tail, allowing him to grab onto objects with relative ease. His tail is strong enough to not only support his body weight, but also fight with while holding a sword or blunt object.
    • Abilities: Aside from the abilities granted by his mutation, Kurt is a superb fencer and a very skilled hand-to-hand combatant.
  • 'Equipment: Due to the strain of carrying additional mass during teleportation, Kurt only has his X-Man uniform with him.
  • Alignment: White.
  • Backstory: The son of the mutant Mystique and the demon Azazel, Kurt was born in Germany whilst the former was living under the identity of the wife of a powerful Count. However, after Kurt was born, Mystique momentarily revealed her true form, causing the village she lived in to chase her and the baby, crying for their deaths. She abandoned him on a river, leaving him to float to the hands of a gipsy woman who lived with the circus. For the rest of his childhood and adolescence, Kurt lived with the circus, using his mutation to display his abilities as an acrobat. However, the rest of the circus members were slowly getting envier and envier of Kurt's fame, and planned with the circus owner to sell him. He escaped, and was once again chased by the mob, until he was saved by a priest, who offered him a place to stay for the night. This night was the night where he found his faith, and soon after, Professor Xavier arrived to offer him a place in his school for gifted individuals and in his group of mutant heroes, the X-Men. When the Man of Ipsum approached him with his request for help, Kurt saw the saving of this new world a part of his duty to God and to all of mankind.
  • Other: Kurt often speaks German, and sometimes spouts German words. Pre-emptive apologies to all Germans.

I vote for the kittiest of kitties, and not just because Nightcrawler is still one of my options.

Like Bean, I also present two sheets.

  • Name: Michelangelo
  • Age: 15
  • Universe: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2012 show)
  • Personality: Enthusiastic, positive and adaptable, Michelangelo is extremely creative and goes with the flow. He loves to joke around and pull pranks, especially with his brothers (he mostly uses water balloons). He loves pop culture and he yearns to be a part of the real world; He insists that people will accept his brothers and him as equals, if given the chance. He is shown to be scatterbrained and somewhat dim-witted, often times causing trouble for the team (but he does have his genius moments). However, his brothers are often protective of him. He also comes up with nicknames for every single mutant villain that they face.
  • Personal Appearance: I'm great at parties!
  • Powers/Abilities: Michelangelo is considered the most athletic and talented of his brothers. His nunchuks match his flexible abilities when it comes to battle. While he's not as disciplined as Leonardo, strong as Raphael, or as smart as Donatello, Michelangelo's raw talent, agility and sheer unpredictability make up for it, like being able to actually use moves from the capoeira fighting style. He also shows a lot of endurance. Splinter considers Michelangelo the one with the most potential than all of his three brothers combined, particularly complimenting his ability to fight without thinking. Like his brothers, Michelangelo is stealthy, can hide in the shadows, sneak around without being detected, and can use hand to hand combat.
  • Equipment: Michelangelo wields a pair of Nunchaku which, like his brothers with their chosen weapons, he is highly skilled with. Both of his Nunchucks can convert into Kusarigama.
  • Alignment: White.
  • Backstory: Fifteen years ago, the benevolent Hamato Yoshi purchased four turtles as pets. Yoshi came into contact with a rat and had to fight against a couple of mysterious men. During the scuffle, the men dropped a container filled with a mutating liquid, the mutagen, causing the mutation of Yoshi and the turtles. Yoshi, now referring to himself as Splinter, raised the turtles as his own children and trained them in Ninjutsu for fiteen years, until they went to the surface world, where they not only met their new friend April O' Neill, but also their father's mortal enemy, the Shredder. Michelangelo has accepted the Man of Ipsum's request for help because not only does it sound totally cool, he's pretty sure his brothers will respect him much, much more when they find out he saved an entire world!
  • Other: Michelangelo often goes by the nickname Mikey.

And also...

  • Name: Envy
  • Age: Unknown
  • Universe: Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood
  • Personality: Envy is a douche, no doubt about it. He doesn't care about anyone but himself and his Father. He takes satisfaction in watching those he loathes writhing in pain, and he will not hold back his desire to describe all the wonderful ways in which he'd kill a human. Yes, while Envy hates all things, the one thing he hates the most are humans. He sees them as disgusting creatures... creatures he finds himself jealous of. However, Envy is nothing but professional, and he can put his anger aside if the current mission demands it. Of course, after the mission's over...
  • Personal Appearance: The hell you looking at?
  • Powers/Abilities:
    • Regeneration: The homunculus' default ability. Envy can regenerate himself spontaneously even when inflicted by wounds that can be considered fatal by human standards. The only known way to kill him is by destroying the Philosopher Stone residing deep within his body or by severely 'killing' him several times. However ever since he was recruited by the Man from Ipsum, most of the energy from his Stone has been drained and thus his regenerative properties have been greatly reduced. He can still close up small wounds and injuries upon his body in a matter of minutes but it'll take several days for him to completely restore an entire limb should he lose one.
    • Shapeshifter: Envy has the ability to shapeshift into anything or anyone. This power comes in handy to go anywhere unnoticed or to travel fast, allowing him to shapeshift into an average citizen to blend into a crowd for stealth, or a fast moving animal, such as a horse or dog. Additionally, Envy can transform parts of its body, often using this ability in battle to transform its limbs into weapons.
    • Unleashed Form: Underneath this humanoid body, Envy hides his unleashed form: a giant, terrifying green monster. It's a shame he can't use it, because the multiversal travel he underwent after being recruited cost him so much energy that transforming into this form is now fatal to him.
  • Equipment: Why the hell would he need anything?
  • Alignment: Black.
  • Backstory: Envy was created by Father with the intention to house one of his sins and also aid him in his quest to absorb God and become the most powerful being of his earth- it's quite a long story. During one of his missions, Envy was approached by the Man of Ipsum with a request for help. Initially, Envy wanted to tell him to bug off, but the tale about Ipsum caught his interest. Maybe he could use this ancient civilization's power to further his and Father's plans... hiding his true intentions, he accepted the Man's offer, and has now joined him.

Not a lot of baddies, so I'm more inclined towards Envy.

I'm torn between the two. Wish I could choose both, really.

[up] I'd go for Envy. This RP might benefit from some more... black-inclined characters.

So, I was thinking about bringing a Human!Emmett into the RP, but I wasn't sure about it.

Now that there's a Unikitty, i'm more tempted into bringing him in.
