Batman and His Stance On Drugs

Because I don't want to deal with either of them.

So, superhero community is like a family where you mess with one of them, you mess with all of them. Maybe that's why Batman is so effective in JLA stories. The villains don't want to cause the rest of the JLA to beat them to a pulp if they hurt or kill Batman or any other hero that's not invulnerable.

Nightwing is the Spider-Man of the DC Universe. He's everyone's friend.

Oh yeah, hurt Dick Grayson, and an angry world's finest, and everyone else will make you regret it! The bat family can take care of themselves.

Nightwing is like Captain America, Spider Man, and Superman combined.

See - my knowledge of Nightwing isn't that vast. I know who he is and I know he defends Bludhaven and sometimes helps out Gotham and has some Teen Titans connections but apart from that - why is he known as the guy who's got the most superhero connections of everyone?

Because he's friendly. That's really the long and short of it. He's nice to everyone and tries to maintain connections with everyone in the superhero community because he knows it's important.

he know the JLA, and has been a member of many superhero teams and is friends with his friend's friends. Batman and Superman are friends, so he is friends with their friends. He's Batman with social skills.

Well, that, and he's been superheroing since he was a child. He has the same connections that Batman does, except he actually stays on friendly terms with them. Unlike his mentor.

Also, at one point, Catwoman said that everyone (including some villains) consider him to be like a little brother, because they were around when he was just a boy.

Gotcha. Since we kinda wandered a bit off topic and since we're on Nightwing now, what do you think Batman's allies' opinions of drugs are? I'd imagine Gordon and Jason Todd are pretty anti-drug but I also think that Nightwing is a bit more relaxed towards it.

Why would he be more relaxed about it? One of his good friends suffered through heroin addictions and he has spent a good portion of his life fighting in drug labs and investigating overdoses.

If anything, he'd have the HARDEST stance on drugs out of all of them.

That's right - I forgot about Speedy's heroin thing. But I don't know if he'd be the hardest out of all of them - I think that'd be Jason. IIRC, his mother was addicted to drugs and in Under The Red Hood he specifically states that if the gangs sold drugs to kids then they'd have to answer to him. Then again - he was willing to let the drug trade continue - under his supervision - so maybe he's not that hard about it.

Was just about to bring that up. He took over the a part of the drug trade. Hell Black Mask did not even mind it until Todd started targeting him.

Black Mask was by far the best part of Under the Hood.

All I'm saying is that Dick saw drugs DESTROY HIS BEST FRIEND. I think he has a very low tolerance for narcotics.
