So he decided to become a Puddler in order to expunge "sick" or "impure" heroes. So, once again Alexander Luthor Jr's "modern heroes are sick and disordered" philosophy makes a return.

He covers up the crime because he wants to use his remaining time left in order to "make it right." We don't know yet what that entails, but if it's resurrecting the people he accidentally killed, then it was probably worth it. (And the way he uses time travel isn't by going back in time, but by going forward in time five days.)

The Puddler was a Red Herring. Wally didn't actually think that.

Still seems out of character. I feel like Wally would turn himself in. Plus framing other people for his crimes is still messed up anyway you cut it.

People, this behavior has to stop. However strongly we may feel about Wally West, Harley Quinn, Pamela Isley etc. They are still fictional characters. They do not justify making life miserable for a real life, flesh and blood human being. Especially one who has PTSD himself.

Rather sad that King's whole idea about heroes in therapy got hijacked into becoming this whole murder mystery fiasco.

I used to think DC making Superboy Prime a Take That! towards fans was stupid but now I'm starting to think they might have been on to something after all.

x5 now Didio got what he wanted people spreading negativity, apathy, controversy and outrage on books by using guys like King, Lobdell, Williamson, Snyder, Glass and Bendis as Scapegoat Creators while in reality they're Mis-blamed due to following Didio's orders of his micromanaging and meddling

In fairness, Didio has received death threats himself from what I've heard and there are just as many people cursing him is name as King's. Arguably, more so.

Considering the state of modern fandom, including its weaponization by the alt-right for purposes up to and including outright murder attempts, SBP really was a character ahead of his time.

King is asking for trouble with asshole fans . Learned nothing from the Bat Cat fiasco.

The creators pull some dumb shit.

But so do the fans, especially with what points out.

No ones hands are clean.

I've heard of murder attempts organized through things like MMOs, though I'm uncertain of exact details.

I'm not crazy about what he's doing with Wally, but that doesn't mean he deserves to get death threats. That's isn't justifiable.

That kind of shit makes all fans look bad.

None of that justifies death threats. I don't care how poorly the wedding might've been handled. Asshole fans are fucking asshole fans, who deserve to be denounced and cast out.

Not justify them at all. They are dicks, but King should try avoiding poking the hornet's nest after this.

But even that is saying "Well, he somewhat deserved it for 'poking the hornet's nest.'" Which isn't true at all.

I'll be the first to criticize a bleak, cynical story like HIC, but nobody deserves to receive death threats.

I should have reworded that phrase then.

There will always be unhappy fans, but we really need to stop those people, don't deserve to call themselves fans, anyway. They are outright psychotic, and we all know these things can end badly.
