Hmm. I never realized Darling had wings.
I'm guessing that's just an embellishment on her dress, though.
May still be functional though. You never know with these high-magic worlds.
I feel like she would have used them by now, though.
Then again, if she's blind, she probably doesn't want to risk flying into a wall or something.
Well, she might be able to distinguish oncoming walls by noticing the large mass of chemical bonds dead ahead. She's not totally blind, after all; it's just a matter of how bad the whole "can only see chemical makeup of everything that isn't an oppossum" renders her ability to see walls.
Like, she can't see the forest for the trees, but surely she can utilize her ability to see the trees at all to determine that there's a forest oncoming? (Admittedly this is using a slightly more literal meaning for the word "see" than the idiom usually intends, although "trees" and "forest" are still metaphorical for "chemical bonds" and "literally everything non-oppossum".)
Moon◊I recently started reading Digger and it is kind of interesting to see the parallels, a separate race who is essentially separate from the driving force of the world. For Poppy, it's magic. For Digger, it's the gods.
Well, lookie here. Somebody has a fan.
Also, I guess that makes sense. I guess I was sort of thinking of it like there was matter everywhere, and that, as such, everything that wasn't the sky or a possum was just a bunch of black or gray.
Now that I think about it, it's sort of like Olber's Paradox. Except instead of stars, it's just a bunch of objects.

I wonder when will Poppy decide that it's time to punch out both gangs.
Hmmm. I've only just realized that Morbi's only ever given mammalian females breasts. How... Anatomically correct.
And something else... something soft and warm.

My angry rant blog!Another update, folks keep ignorin'!
My angry rant blog!Well, look's like Morbi's adding quite a bit of species diversity.
Huh. Ghost hand in the last panel.
The monkey managed to look cool for a panel...
Mega Man fanatic extraordinaireI'm completely with Poppy on this one. I don't think the magic hand came from the monkey, though, so I think our mystery smugglers might have attained their goal in the confusion.
Well for starters, it's not an opposum foot, it's a monkey foot hand
Second, you're talking about an opposum using magic.
Like Sir Friedrich? But you're right. Looking at the two pages side-by-side, the ghostly blue coloring was, I think, indicating that Poppy was aware of the oncoming hand-foot, but the others were not.
Out of all that crowd, I like the monkey the most.
The monkey was great.

In this year's Christmas pic, Poppy is touching Kit Darling's butt as they smile at each other.
