Mm-hm, saw that. Hoping for the best.

What's precedent ever done for us?Anyone know about the manga? Seems like it could go either way.
It could go either way, yes. The manga is rather dark but, well, ARMS is animating and the potential for fanservice is there.
(Note that I say potential, because the fanservice in the manga is tame)

Three robot anime this season. So far
A comedy this time
Holy shit, quadruple post
It just takes while for people to start talking about spring after all.
Winter did just start for the Anime season.....
Watch SymphogearAwesome. I loved that manga, but stopped reading because of how long it took to get scanned.
Like Mondaiji but with less superpowers and more incestuous subtext, I guess. Like the artstyle, though

I don't see a lot of reason for there to be incest subtext there. Maybe they'll drop it.
I do like the music and chess motifs (the stuff reinforcing the gamey-ness) though and the fast pace the PV suggests, so I think it could be better than Mondaji.
On the other hand, it could end up as something more like Accel World which I didn't like for shouneny reasons.
"Nullius addictus iurare in verba magistri, quo me cumque rapit tempestas, deferor hospes."I've actually read the manga of No Game, No Life, and the siblings are more partners-in-crime than anything. I guess there's incest subtext if you squint... though I suppose the anime can play that up.
Anyway, the world is crazy. Everything is bet on games. Thieves can't even steal something without playing a game.

"No Game No Life"
I have been looking forward to this one makes quite a while.
Mainly because of this.
For those who can`t read my language, which is pratically everyone I imagine, it turns out that Yuu Kamiya, the author of the No Game No Life Light Novel and whose real name is Thiago Furukawa Lucas, was born in my country. He went to live in Japan when he was still a child.
"Please crush me with your heels Esdeath-sama!@39: I saw the preview this morning. I'm not entirely sure what's going on in it, I just know I want to watch it (if only for the music). At any rate, if it at least turns out to be a japanese Ready Player One with cute little girls, I'll be a happy man.
Join my forum game!Gentlemen, it finally happened◊.
We're getting a Mushishi sequel. I have NO idea what stars aligned to bring this about, but it's a WELCOME set of news.
And yes, it's scheduled for a Spring release, with most of Artland's staff from S1 returning. Wow.

That is the best anime-related news I've heard in ages. So damn happy right now.
WAT
Holy shit, this made my freaking day!
...Not as surprising as it would've been without the special, but I still can't say I was expecting it
The bad news is that I don't think the second half of the manga was as good as the first
I think we need a Mushishi thread. I watched the special and enjoyed it.
It was actually pretty close to exactly the formula of the episodes.
