Speaking of, am I the only one thinking the next season is going to come with a lot of writing as a backlash against the memes the show started? I can't imagine the writers want people to be acting like fools over Chicken Mc Nugget sauce.
Wouldn't be surprised, such obnoxiousness is just asking for some ribbing.

So, some not so good news going on about the future of the series.
Adult Swim hasn't renewed it for a fourth season just yet. Harmon confirmed this during a Twitter interaction with an angry fan and claimed that this has prevented him from working on another season of the show just yet.
Apparently back in January, one of the show's writers had outright said that at the current pace, work might not be finished on new episodes until late 2019 (and it seems unlikely this holds up right now). Now, I don't think this means the show is over, but this isn't boding well.

It depends on the behind the scenes stuff going on. If production is genuinely too slow then they can't exactly capitalize on the show if there is no show to air new episodes of.

Tell that to Metalocalypse. Mike Lazzo is known for personally pulling the plug on shows he doesn’t find funny (as he elaborated in an AMA. He flat out said Metalocalypse’s drama arc had gotten too serious and pulled the plug, then refused to sell Brendon Small the rights back.)

That would make me incredibly upset if they canceled Rick and Morty after 3 Seasons, especially since Season 3, while good, wasn't on par with the first two. It, along with Robot Chicken, are the only things I watch on Adult Swim anymore.
Plus, we still haven't found out what the deal is with Evil Morty.
On the upside... uuuh...... we got a Run Jewel music video animated by the team at Yotta!!

So apparently the April Fool's joke for Adult Swim this year is them airing a parody of Rick and Morty called Bushworld Adventures tonight that's basically an Australian version of the show or something? Anyone caught it?

I have no idea what the fuck I just watched but I think one of the animators who worked on this was Oney NG? It mentioned a Chris O'Neill in the credits so I'm assuming that's the same Chris O'Neill famously known as Oney NG.

I feel like they should have sliced the length in half, because both of the best jokesnote were within the first 4 minutes.

It's kind of sad that this spoof's take on Beth and Summer show more concern for Morty than the canon ones do.
