The ring comes to a stop at Lightning's feet. The sword is still glowing with that unsettling light.

"J-just this damn place, Mami-san. It-it gives me the creeps." Totally true, and yet he's lying through his teeth.

...(clasps her hands together for a brief moment) Is that so?

Well, I suppose I have no reason to not believe you.(smiles once again and yet the smile doesn't really feel all that sincere) Very well then. Do you perhaps know any way out?(since the original trap failed, she'll have to resort to simpler solutions. The solution as it follows: turn Sayaka around)

Very creeped out now.

"Not unless you wanna trust the guy who told me to attack her..."

(Archer continues to watch the exchange between Miki and Mami)

(...oh Christ, her eyes speak it all. She's mad despite the calm face she maintains still) And you listened. You gave in to the temptation for what was likely a farce, an illusion to make you a puppet of someone else.

What should I make of that, Miki-san?

\*Lightning reaches over to pick up the ring, when suddenly!*

Light, it's time to go.

You mean it's six already? Damn, today went by fast. All right, send me up.

\*Lightning is teleported away*

The ring is knocked over to Archer's side as Lightning teleports away, and both the ring and sword start to glow brighter.

(Archer picks up the ring... and suddenly he tosses it in Miki's general direction)

Archer isn't exactly the kind of guy who picks up swords :-P

Farewell, Sayaka Miki.(all muskets fire at once as Mami's face doesn't change one bit, except for a small, sad smile)

The ring sticks itself to Miki's finger, a la LOTR.

Suddenly, the golden sword and a white shield teleport into Miki's hands in a flash of light, deflecting the musket shots.

See ya.

(remains intent on Miki, as the ring flies towards him)

You can't just force your actions onto another character like that, even if you're playing something inanimate.

Too intent on Not!Mami, Miki doesn't notice the ring until it is too late, and it bounces off his hand.

Miki raises a (normal) sword to block, and actually manages to deflect several of the many bullets, but is nonetheless riddled with bullets.

...but still alive as he falls to the ground, gasping and coughing for breath as blood fills his lungs and pours from his body. He'd deflected the bullets on target for his Soul Gem.

Miki's hand, crawling along the ground grasping at life, touches the ring from the strange sword.

(frowns) You are certainly a tough one. I did not expect you to survive this, Witch.

Regardless, the next shot will be fatal. With my authority of Puella Magi, I sentence thee to death.(the muskets refocus before giving out another salvo)

Idiot. I have no idea why I'm about to do this...

(Archer extends his hand - Rho Aias appears in front of Miki and blocks the salvo)

I was intending to help you, but anyways, sorry about that.

The sword, shield and ring fall to the ground with a clang, but Miki manages to grab the teleportation ring from the sword, causing it to glow bright blue, summoning the mighty sword, the Infinity Blade, and the shield, into Miki's hands in a flash of light. the Infinity Blade shines with blue flame and light.

It's cool, sorry. I dunno, it was part my fault, and I dunno why I was so keen for it to go this way :p

As Archer's Rho Aias protects Miki, blue light from his Soul Gem flows over his body, healing his wounds. It's fairly quick, but he's still pretty damn out of action, even if he isn't going to die - and it's taking quite a shit-ton of mana.

Miki weakly holds the shield before him, especially careful to cover his Soul Gem.

...(the mask cracks as she sends a glance of pure hatred right at Archer before swiftly turning around back to Miki) I ordered you to die, spawn. Listen.(rather than firing from one direction, muskets begin circling Sayaka, firing one at a time from all directions)

The shield covers Miki's Soul Gem - and some of the rest of his body - from the front, but the bullets from the rifles tear through him at other angles, undoing the healing. His healing speeds up, but so does the drain from his Soul Gem.

The Infinity Blade shines with blue light, and the teleportation ring suddenly speaks through an AI.

Teleportation ring attuned to your QIP and ready.

The shield shines with a blue forcefield, as it deflects the bullets heading for Miki's Soul Gem, and the Infinity Blade deflects several more, blue tongues of flame leaping from its tip.

Gotta skedaddle for a bit, BRB soon.

(Archer summons his bow and tries to go for a headshot, counting on Mami being distracted by her prey)
