Vestara looks to the skies and spots Armored!Nightmare Moon, then contemplates whether she should either continue investigating the source of the silhouettes or find out what the dark alicorn was up to.

Seeign Zeref, he deactivates the armor plate.
"O-oh, sorry, I didn't know that..."
He clears his throat.
"I, uh, excuse me."
He activates the jetpack on his back to fly up to the roof, where he tries to lay as low as possible, going back down to another alleyway when he sees Moon.
"I don't have a lot of options now... time's almost up. I have to contact him now."
He presses more buttons, and a small screen appears in front of Picky. It's impossible to see what's on the other side, only two faintly shining eyes showing.
"So, you decided to answer me after all?"
"Yeah... I accept your offer... Black King."

He turns back to the screen.

Deciding to go with the former option until Nightmare Moon actually did something, Vestara leaps onto the same rooftop where Picky was not long ago, then stays there to quietly evesdrop on the boy and his conversation with this Black King from above.
"Wait, did that kid just say 'Black King'?" she thinks. "Was he talking to Sombra, this Tenebris guy I've been hearing about, or is it someone else altogether? And what do Alucard and Walter have to do with it?"

"U-uh, isn't that a really big risk and all?", Picky asks, unaware that Vestara is watching.
"...Hm... maybe it is... after all, this robot could be a spy from Sombra. I heard that this Dr. Wily serves him... hm?"

"Who are you ?"

"Now there's a White King as well? What kind of plot is this?" Vestara thinks to herself, still spying on Picky from the rooftop. "I have heard of this person named Despair who's apparently been pulling a lot of people's strings here. Maybe he's one of these two 'kings'. Still, why would a boy get caught up in their plans? Is he a young Mandalorian or something?"
"The Dragonborn... and Damascus..."
The Black King chuckles.
"I'm not sure you'd be such a good ally after all.", he mockingly says. "We carefully choose who can join our cause, we don't just accept anyone. And anyone who isn't chosen is but a mere pawn. I'll discuss this with White King later. But for now, if you want to impress me, you can find out what's causing this eclipse. Picky, you stay on guard for now."
"Yes, sir."

Finding out the cause of the eclipse is not a difficult task.
"I am Nightmare Moon!" the alicorn loudly proclaims, her voice booming throughout the Arena. "I have come to free you all from the tyranny of the sun! From this moment onwards, THE NIGHT! SHALL LAST! FOREVER!"

Nightmare Moon's yelling catches Vestara offguard and almost causes her to fall from the rooftop, though she quickly catches herself before that can happen. She continues to listen in on Picky and the Black King, mentally snickering at what Zeref said as she does so.
"Dragonborn? I've heard that name before. He was one of the warriors who helped slay a powerful but foolish Emperor here, if my reports are correct," she thinks. "Now let's see what the chances are of the 'Black King' namedropping this Loki that I've heard so much about are."

Nightmare Moon paws the ground with one of her front hooves.
"Oh, is it not? Its light is nothing but blinding! As it shines, it callously obscures the kindly moon and the beautiful patterns formed by the stars, which are far more worthy of adorning the sky than this... tacky orb of light! It burns those beneath its rays! And yet the vile day is revered and worshipped, and my beautiful night is feared and ignored? NO MORE!"

He notices them and froze, not making his presence know apart from the massive death aura emanating from him by accident, but quickly goes back to staring at the eclipse.
